XhosaNostra: At what age is it done in Kenya? Because here it's late teens & they're already little man-whòres by then lol. 13- 17 I went there when i was 13 I was the youngest in my group My mum carried me on her back when she came for me |

XhosaNostra: I just had a thought about the "sexy" thing. Perhaps it's seclusion or pheromones at play, because the effect is the same with someone who just got out of prison. They have a "fresh" look & come out smelling like a man Maybe Ladies are hard to understand |

XhosaNostra: LMFAO @ bolded. Kai!
Except for the bolded, everything else is the same. They get a lot of gifts etc. It's called "Ukusoka".
Well, I heard the reason why they look almost irresistible is because of something that's smeared on them. Whatever it is, it works! Because some guy you knew all your life, will suddenly become a sex symbol It's almost scary how it happens. As a group, we'd sit on the side of the road just to watch them walk by, all while swooning. It wears off after a while though. Then we'd wait for the next group the following year, to repeat the same thing. I just don't get why they're so hypnotic
Hahaha, so you never had pussy thrown on you from every angle? Nawa for you, Tylann. I was still young and stupid i even didn't know where to insert my dck and I was still healing the last thing you want is an erection at that moment And i went straight to my mum arms after that whole ordeal |

XhosaNostra: Wow, you guys are a bit liberal about it. Here women are not allowed at any stage. Last time you see your loved one is when they leave home to go there. The next time will be when they come back home. Even then you have to keep your distance for several weeks. Growing up I remember being told that you don't have sex with someone who is from there because of some beliefs. Example, if a guy you were dating went there, if he really loves you, he will sleep with someone else 1st before having sex with you. You just have to accept it for your own good. It's almost like they use the girls they sleep with soon afterwards as a serviette to remove something or whatever lol. Doesn't make matters easy considering that they look unusually attractive when they're from there. They even have groupies Yours is a bit weird Us there is some point you will run in the village naked and everybody will see you In our community the group stays in the wild for at least 1 month before circumcision and 1 month after circumcision Girls find the initiates attractive i don't know why But here the initiates are given alot of stuff from huge amounts of money cows goats and sheeps land so you become rich young I wished i had groupies |

XhosaNostra: Understandable.
@Bolded, of course! We can't completely wipe out our origins for the sake of "civilization". A person who doesn't know where he is from will have no sense of direction in life. True |

XhosaNostra: Oh, that's what it means? Because when that word was used in the pictures I saw, they showed grass/straw structures, which is why I thought the meanings are the same. Anyway, good to know.
Yeah, that's how it's done here as well. No women allowed to even visit a loved on over there. Yes boma it is more connected to a traditional homestead Women are not allowed to visit that area Maybe the day when you are circumcisized is when they are allowed To make you brave when your are scared they will laugh at you |

XhosaNostra: Oh, I see. Why do you guys feel that way about mud houses? Here it is seen as cultural preservation. Even people with brick homes in the villages still build a mud house or two, to remain connected to one's roots.
Well, I was truly surprised by seeing a boma & it being called a boma because that's what we call it too, spelt "Bhoma". I guess it is just people mindset and westernization People want to build nice concrete houses Not mud houses those are a big no Iam in the village right now some people have both concrete houses and mud houses in the same compound they say it reminds them where they came from |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by tylann: 12:04pm On Apr 01, 2019 |
XhosaNostra: You stay in bomas too for that?
South African guys will come for my head for even having this discussion It's off limits for them, so let me leave it right there In kenya boma means homestead When i underwent circumcision We were staying in some shelters in the wilderness |

XhosaNostra: Tayser or some of the guys would have to support you with pictorial evidence on this one, I'm not convinced
So the Maasai don't have permanent homestead? How long do they live in the makeshift "homes"? Btw, I just saw something else interesting. You guys also have what is called a boma. We build bomas here too for initiates.
I personal underwent traditional circumcision It was fun but also a horrendous experience |

We build bomas here too for initiates. Some have permanent homesteads But those are concrete houses As many maasai people are abandoning the pastoralist lifestyle They settle in one place when they settle they Build concrete houses In my community mud houses are sign of poverty and failure Yes we have boma |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by tylann: 11:09am On Apr 01, 2019 |
XhosaNostra: Well, I just looked. The presentable ones are lodges, not where ordinary people live. The rest are ugly, no offence.
These look nice though. I was meaning maasai people build temporary houses known as manyattas Which they demolish while they move with they cattle looking for water and pastures So they dont put much energy on it Why build a magnificent hut which you will demolish next month and move on I hope you get the point now |

Hope I don't see those scary Massai huts again Maasai are pastoralists They just build makeshift shelters They move from place to place So those houses of theirs are not permanent |

XhosaNostra: Yeah but even then, it needs to be built again years down the line, taking the material it's built with into consideration. You don't just sit & let it crumble around you. It just shows lack of pride lol. Not all are crumbling some are beautifully and well maintained just Google you will find them |

XhosaNostra: Wow @ bolded. I have no words. To each their own.
It's funny how South Africans are always accused of being lazy & yet we take a better care of ourselves than most people in black Africa. Even our mud houses that people have built for themselves look much more presentable (inside out) than anything I've seen in both Kenya & Tanzania so far.
A tour inside a mud house, in the Eastern Cape ofcourse because I don't know how it's done elsewhere. They look more concrete than mud |

Obsessed with Kenya? I am not the one who wakes up every morning to log into a Nigerian site all the way from East Africa everyday. How do you even look at your own face in the mirror each day? Is this how jobless you all are? The same way you wake up every morning in west Africa and log in to nairaland and talk about Kenya drought victims the all day |
