So bloody what if he was not interviewed? Since when is it a prerequisite under the law to invite someone for interview before arrest? As long as there is enough evidence to detain the suspect, the legal entity has the right to do so. A request for interview is for law enforcement to gather more information especially when it does not have enough evidence to detain the suspect. By rights, one may deny a request for interview by any law enforcement, but you cannot deny an arrest once the proper channels have been followed (i.e. arrest warrant issued based on investigation and evidence). For all those asking how a warrant for Dasuki's arrest can be issued without inviting him for interview; next time, when an armed robber robs you and evidence is brought against him, please, don't let police arrest him without inviting him first for an interview. Rubbish! |
Shoptomydoor ETA is an estimate of course, but checkout the difference between 6-8 weeks and 14 weeks. Haba! That's double. I chose to ship via ocean as it wasn't urgent at that time and even if it had taken 10-12 weeks I would have been fine. Anyways, the order number is 77049. |
Thought it took 6 to 8 weeks to deliver via ocean freight? Bought some baby clothes from Carter's in August and while the weight was about 6 pounds, the chargeable weight was like 15 pounds causing the shipping fees to be about $80. I opted for shipping by sea seeing as that cost $47 total and paid on 26th of August. 6 - 8 weeks? No problem. Baby is not here for another 12 weeks. On 22 September, I received a notification that the goods had been shipped and would arrive Nigeria October 27. Following clearing, sorting and local delivery, I should receive my goods on November 23. A bit nervous but all well and good. If they deliver on time, we have one week to spare. That is if the baby does not come early. Now, I just found out that the estimated arrival of the container of October 27 is to Spain! it will arrive Tin Can on November 12. Adding an estimated month for clearing, sorting and delivery as STMD has stated, ETA on the shipment is December 10 or thereabouts. A whole 14 weeks after payment. Shoptomydoor, is this correct or am I missing something here. Let me know the truth please so that I can begin to make alternative arrangements. |
abbey621:Believe me, I have worked in recruitment capacities for different organisations. If a government agency is recruiting for certain states or region and your state of origin is not on your CV, then you are disqualified. No one has time to read your cover letter and no one will email you to ask which state you're from. Your CV will be discarded. Obviously not all organisations require such information. I have gotten a job with a one page CV that listed just my contact details, academic qualifications and work experience and I have also just gotten another with a four page CV listing everything including samples of research I undertook at postgraduate level. The key still remains this: know your target audience (potential employee) and prepare your CV accordingly. |
The key to an effective CV is knowing your target audience. To all those asking people not to put their personal information, note that some organisations REQUIRE such information as a prerequisite for selection. Most Federal Government organisations recruit by Federal Character. Sometimes, new potential recruits have to be from certain states or regions to be eligible to apply. CBN had a recruitment specifically for Yobe, Zamfara, Bayelsa and one or two other states about two years ago. Don't think that organisations such as these will email you and ask you for your state of origin if you omit this information from your CV. Same goes for DOB. Heard of age limits for certain job positions? KPMG for instance strictly abides by its '26 and under' recruitment policy for entry level hires. So beware. Know who, what you're applying to and for, and adjust your CV accordingly. |
OP, so because Sir Ahmadu Bello no gree KFB, natural why Kaduna kill am for coup? Chai! Diaris God o! Nice one aha. |
Hey shoptomydoor I placed an order and the invoice is wrong. I have uploaded my invoice but nothing. What's happening? The figures in my warehouse were just estimates. Also I placed only one order which was shipped as one package. Yet it was broken down in two in my warehouse and a $15 cost attached to the second which is just a pair of baby flip flops valued at $2.99 Please check and help me resolve/ explain the issue so that I can pay for prompt delivery. My order number is 77049. Thanks |

I heard, through the grapevine, that Danbazau was a shoe-in for the role of NSA until Buhari was informed that Dambazau made illegal deductions from the allowances of soldiers fighting Boko Haram when he was COAS. Allegedly, each soldier got paid short of N 6,000. Don't quote me abeg; an rumour I hear. |
blackfm:I worked in one of the aforementioned companies as well. Don't know if it's applicable to all, but the entry requirements are usually a 2.1 (non-negotiable), minimum of credit in Maths and English as well as 3 other subjects and the candidate being 26 or under at a stipulated time in the future. |
komek:And so the pickpocket becomes the pick pocketed! ![]() Lmao! Carry go, jare. Nothing do you. |
Well done, OP. Good read. |
This was a programme of Obasanjo's sickle cell foundation and not a pet project of Aisha's. She was merely invited. |
I wonder why PDP did not truly seize the bull by the horns and nominate/vote their own senate president while they had the house. That would have been the real coup d'etat. |
Hmm. Same thing happened to me on board Aero from Lagos to Abuja just a few weeks before the Dana Air crash. About 20 minutes into the flight, there was a light bang. Thought I was the only person that heard it as everyone seemed normal. Less than a minute later, Captain screamed an announcement. The only thing I heard was "cabin crew..." The rest was muffled. Cabin crew that were busy selling that their yeye skysnax ran down the aisles. Next thing, oxygen masks dropped and we lost altitude. It was like a roller coaster on a downward trajectory. I was like "this is it!" People were screaming and shouting. It was so surreal. Oxygen masks were not functional and the elastic straps had turned inelastic such that one had to hold the mask in place. Some didn't even have elastic straps. It didn't matter anyways, as there was no oxygen. We dropped from about 30,000 feet to 7,000 in the space of 3 minutes. Captain finally announced that we would be going back to Lagos maintaining that 7,000 feet altitude. By the grace of God, we were back in Lagos like 35 minutes later. On the runway, the plane died. As in engines shut off, lights out. We had to wait for ground crew to come to our aid. I was so sure I was going to die that day. Guess it was not my time to go. |
Incredible! This article is stupid. First of all, are we talking about abortions or oral contraceptives? Which type of abortion? Where are the studies to back up? What are the so called five effects? Who conducted the study? When and how? Etc. Do you people know that there are several ways to terminate a pregnancy? Through oral medication, insertion of medication and evacuation procedures such as a D & C? These are the same approaches used to treat missed or incomplete miscarriages, a situation whereby due to chromosomal abnormalities or some other reason the foetus dies in utero but the mother's body does not expel it. So if abortionists are at risk of breast cancer due to the procedure undertaken to abort, then so are numerous women who have received treatment for missed miscarriages. In addition, typical miscarriages where the mother bleeds out the foetus and pregnancy materials without medical intervention are called spontaneous abortions. They will also experience sudden decrease in pregnancy hormones as the body reverts back to its pre pregnancy state. Are they also vulnerable to breast cancer? I call bull.shit. |

National Enquirer! Bloody lies. There is no way Dangote is engaged to this woman. Unless if he intends to marry her over his mother's dead body. |
My friend's wife asked him whether he gets any work done at all at the office or if he's busy dreaming of his PS4. Because as soon as he comes home from work, he's on the couch playing video games. |
This Mariya is his first daughter. All of you blinded by love, that's her husband behind her in the first picture. That's why her name is Mariya Dantata - she married Al-hassan Dantata's son. She's in her early 30's and the boys in the picture are her children. If you want to transfer your affections, then the only available one is the fairest one, the one on the left. She's his last daughter and still single. |
Firmjudge:Haba! How can the Christians in Niger state be up to 43%? Granted, Niger state has a higher Christian population than most states in the North (except other middle belt states) but 43% is a stretch. |
Where's the stew? Too freaky for my liking! |

I once got 78 missed calls from airtel in about an hour and half. When I saw my phone, my heart skipped 10 beats. Thought someone had died. |
This is the first time I've heard about this. Don't hospitals have a system for disposal of such items? |
Won't forget the first pun I ever recognised. English teacher in secondary school explaining what a pun was. It goes: Don't kill your wife with hard work, let hoover do it! |
