Police officers, who were acting on a tip off from residents of Kiamuguongo Village in Kirinyaga County, arrested the woman while she was taking the body to the mortuary of a district hospital.

Upon questioning, she told the officers she was a devil worshiper and that she had been asked by her cult leader to to sacrifice her son.

She is currently being held at the police station, where she will remain for 14 days while investigation continues.

Needless to say, the situation in Ondo State as pertains to next week's election is extremely fluid. So many factors are at play. There is the Jimoh Ibrahim factor. Determined to contest the polls, he has secured a court judgement on behalf of the Ali Modu Sheriff faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Though disturbed by Jimoh Ibrahim's challenge, Eyitayo Jegede, governorship candidate of the Makarfi faction of PDP, is undaunted about becoming the next governor of Ondo State. While Jegede fights at the Appeal Court, his deputy, John Ola Mafo, takes their campaign train to riverine areas of Ondo State, the stronghold of Olusola Oke, the candidate of Alliance for Democracy (AD). In the following photos, we see John Ola Mafo wooing voters, telling them that the Jegede/Mafo ticket is the best thing for the people of Ondo State.

The Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, on Friday, flagged off the second phase of the state food palliative programme, code named Eto Igbe Ayo targeted at reaching no fewer than seventy thousand women across Ondo State.

The Eto Igbe Ayo programme, which is aimed at cushioning the effect of the harsh economic situation of the nation on the women and their families, brought together women from different parts of the Ondo Southern Senatorial District at the flag-off ceremony held at Okitipupa Local Government secretariat, on Friday. The Kenya media is accusing Reverend Allan Kiuna of Jubilee Christian Centre (JCC) of being a randy man of God with an insatiable appetite for sex.

Tuko.co.ke, an online tabloid, alleges that the popular reverend impregnated a mistress behind his wife’s back.

According to other tabloids, Allan’s wife, Kathy, found out and left for South Africa, with her husband denying the allegations.

One pastor left JCC to open another church upon learning these sordid details.

Though Kathy, now back from South Africa, told the media judgement belongs to God, the reverend has had no respite from the press, who continue to tongue-lash him about the mistress.

He dumped his fifty-eight-year-old sugar mama lover after only two weeks. According to him, the sugar mama was too demanding, asking to be sexed five times a day over the period of the relationship.She also wanted him to use her photo as his profile picture on social media networks – and she insisted on being by his side all the time.
