This season is funny. The most valuable players are not expensive at all. you can easily buy the best players anytime and still have loads of money in the bank. I still have 9.5m in the bank but no one to buy. The Most expensive players are crap this season.
Na so, but 9.5m is still too much to have in the bank, except you're working with Vardy, Lukaku and Ighalo front three.

Your rate is better, but I'll pass. It doesn't make much difference from Zenith's ~N186.7 rate, which I still consider a massive ripoff. The fixed official rate is just so unfair!

Don't be thankful of anything. Local bank transfer is available in NGN, USD and EUR. You will provide the SWIFT ADDRESS of your bank.

This is a wire.

The ignorance we are talking about.

I've known the Payoneer card was a rip off for ages. I've been using freelancer "direct" wires 8+ years. Even with a $50 charge.

Ditch your Payoneer card.
Sorry, I'm not here to pick issues with anybody. Neither am I here to please anyone. I just tell things from the experience I have had. Do you mean you have never seen Local Bank Transfer (LBT) and SWIFT wire transfer as independent options on any site before? What makes it local transfer is because you will be paid in your local currency. You receive wire transfer with a domiciliary (current) account, not savings. I'm out of here.

Create a support ticket on Payoneer and tell them you want to change your local bank details to a different account ( your domiciliary account ). Make sure you specify it is a USD account.

cc @U1, there you have it.
Sorry, I no get am. Local bank transfer is different from wire transfer, actually; a savings account cannot be used to receive the latter.

Codex,

Currently, I am using Payoneer's bank transfer option on freelancer. Using this method, freelancer sends the funds to my local bank account at the rate of 195 naira/$1..could you please send me a PM so that I can get detailed info about how to get my funds in dollars and how to sell my funds in the blackmarket? Abeg help me, I don tire to dey accept this low exchange rate..
I think you should be thankful for that rate. I get 20K for $107+ using Payoneer card after paying the regular $2 withdrawal fee. Do the calculation.

Ofcourse what do you expect this is Nigeria. You have to count the money before leaving the ATM sef. Even the machines aren't trusted in Nigeria
cheesy I used to count before o. But I had to stop doing that since I never had issues of incomplete notes and I was starting to look funny doing so. The fake note, to me, cannot be attributed to the machine; I see the action of a bank that's trying to cut its loss.
Business › Re: How To Make $1,000/month Writing And Researching Online by U1(m): 5:05pm On Nov 19, 2015
coderXO:
Not a problem. If you use a savings account I believe that will result in you receiving your funds in NGN (converted using lower market rate ).

Better to use a dom. so you can withdraw and convert your dollars with black market rate.

I'm not sure any bank charges for opening an account. If you meant account opening minimum, I had to open another current account which required N250k before they opened the domiciliary. I was told this was because I was opening a corporate domiciliary account. If you open a personal current, the requirement should be lower.

In today's Nigeria, remember you cannot pay in cash dollars, so they can't request USD from you to open an account anyway.
Sorry, I don't think it is correct that you can receive a wire transfer with a savings account. I stand to be proved wrong on this.

A piece of advice for budding freelancers out there is to always try to have a milestone payment in place before proceeding. If you're a writer, do not accept any job of more than 1000-1500 words without a milestone payment. There are dubious service buyers out there.
Business › Beware: ATM Dispenses Fake Note by U1(op): 4:46pm On Nov 19, 2015
Who could have thought a bank ATM could also give you a fake note? At least, I have never given that a thought until it happened today. A Pan-African bank machine dispensed a fake note to me and I didn't realise this until a couple of hours when I went for a deposit at a GTB ATM station. The two machines I tried for the deposit declined the particular note while the first accepted the other notes for deposit. When I went back to the bank where I made the withdrawal, I was able to get them to confirm if it was fake or not and the reply was affirmative. And of course, they denied it was their machine that dispensed the note.

I was grateful it was just one of 40 notes and that the note wasn't among the money I had deposited minutes earlier in a UBA banking hall, where I saw a note about to be deposited by someone perforated by one of the tellers.

my dear forumite,if you are still expecting your transcript status to read YES for a while and you are sure it has been sent by your school you are in for a long thing cos its not gonna happen. two weeks ago my school alerted me that my transcript is at the pg school,I was very happy that the battle have been won expecting my status to read yes, refreshing my mail every minute then,I decided to go to pg school today.I headed straight to room c4 and I told them my plight I was given a record book to search my name but my name was not found I was sweating despite the room was air conditioned and the woman gave me another record book labelled ''without transcript label"I was hesitant to check it cos I personally attached my transcript label Io and behold my name was found,in fact the list was endless then my transcript was fished out from a load of it where I showed the woman the transcript label attached to it before she said it was a mistake before she apologized
in a nutshell if your status never read YES,there is a big course for alarm.
This musta been why I couldn't find the names of most of those who requested me to help them check the last time I was in the school. I was given only one record book then.

CHARLEH:
This is Thread Dedicated to those with Eye Defect, either Short/long Sightedness...

Doing the following steps will help heal your eyesight.
1: At sun-rise, the sun's color is RED. Wait until it change completely to YELLOW color
2: Wear sandal to avoid earthing with Earth
3: Remove specs
4: Face towards Sun (Sun color is Yellow) and close your eyes normally (same as what you do while sleeping)
5: Stand in this position for atleast 10 min
6: Don't open eyes otherwise Sun's ray may damage it
7: After 10 min, rub your palm and cover your face (including eyes)
8: Fill your mouth with water.
9: Rinse your eyes
10: Gargle water before throwing it out.
11: Repeat Step 9 and 10 for atleast 1 more time
CAUTION:
1: Dont perform this exercise during noon and evening
2: Dont perform using artificial Yellow bulb as it radiates short wavelength of UVB rays while Sun radiates long
wavelength of UVB rays
In the night, before going to sleep, do the following exercises:
1: Remove specs
2: Move eyes left-right 10 times, up-down 10 times, rotate both clock-wise and anti-clockwise for 10 times each
After every 2 months, eye sight will improve little. Specs power will reduce by 0.25.
You tried. I think you may have some useful info right there, even though doing this could get other people nearby to become suspicious or curious. Two months! shocked

Is it really possible for registration to commence december? Remember they just resumed for 2nd semester dis month and 2nd semester exam will likely be january or february next year. Our registration will be probably february or march immediately after 2nd semester exams.
I don't think December registration is feasible at all. Some people have yet to take their tests and some departments will still conduct additional tests. A friend of mine who got admitted for the current session left for school late March-early April.

What a day! Just returned from IB about an hour ago. I'm afraid majority of those people whose names I got before getting opportunity to check the list do not yet have their transcripts submitted or documented. The last name I got from this thread was that of rarry.

Only Ceanwean has her transcript documented; that's if her middle name starts with an 'E'. Teekay045, I saw a name similar to yours - Oseleye Temitayo - but the individual has Pharmaceutical Chemistry as course and school as LASU.

I'll suggest that those whose names haven't yet reflected on the submission list should try and make the sacrifice to visit the PG School to sort issues.

I'm thinking of visiting UI tomorrow for a completely different reason. If time permits, I may be able to help by visiting the PG School on your behalf. Rarry, I'm going to need the name if I did travel. Just watch this thread for update tomorrow morning (until 12 noon) on whether I went ahead with the journey.
