@U1 u are trying to apply for Finance. am a graduate of economics too. finance and Economics is a veru good and powerful combination in d labor market. am thinking of applying to m.sc finance instead of economics. but i need to knw what am getting into. i guess i still need to be convinced. plus is it easier to get into finance dan economics admission?
You just hit the nail on the head. The combo is appealing. The only issue I just see ahead is the financial implication of Msc Finance at Unilag. I don't know much about the programme myself, but I see it involving less abstract math and Econometrics than pure Economics.

For the record, Zenith Bank appears to offer better rates than EcoBank. I found this out yesterday. Just thought I should share.

I think so, at least I know people who did that. That's even the route I'm looking towards.

dont ever build your life on what people say without first getting expert opinion.
dont make major decision that concern your life from just what anybody says through guesswork. its dangerous.
even if they say no, always find a way to say yes.

Read my reply to your query above.

you are very very much qualify for msc finance with or without corporate finance- there is no way you will do economics without macro and micro economics classes with a bit of corporate finance spice in there. that proviso was written for those who did Business admin.

be well advised.
You're the man! Thanks for the information. I was puzzled at how manage I couldn't qualify for Msc Finance with a degree in Economics. Now, I'm better informed, I guess.

if you didn't do any corporate financial course, best is to go to the school and find out or do a PgD in finance and then Masters
Thanks for the response, man. Guess I'll just make do with Economics at my alma mater in that case. But finance really appeals to me.

@ Kalan or anyone. Please I need your help on an issue.

I'm an Economics graduate (not from Unilag) and currently interested in M.sc Finance, which is available at the school. While my degree made the cut, there's an additional requirement stated thus: "(ii) In addition to the above, basic courses in Corporate Finance are required."

I can't remember specifically taking Corporate Finance courses. Do I still stand any chance at all?

1. Start your registration first, print your invoice. You will see a long list of banks on your invoice, pick any bank close to you. Show them your invoice, they know what to do with it.
2. You can pay at any bank branch nationwide.
Modified
3. You only need to supply email address of your referees, they will be contacted directly by the post graduate school.
Thanks for the response, man! You're doing a terrific job here. God bless you.

What of first bank rates?
Any experience with them.
It is the closest in my area.
I have never used their ATM before. You may try one and share the experience here.

Hello, everyone. Please I need someone to explain a couple of things I'm finding baffling about this application process.

* The prospectus states that applicants are to approach any of the banks listed on the invoice. This brings up two questions:

1. I can see GTBank and Skye Bank in the prospectus, but what is this invoice? I know this question might sound dumb, but I'm that confused. Or does it mean one has to register to see the said invoice before going to pay the fees? I doubt that, but I may be wrong.

2. Can the payment be made in any branches of the relevant banks in Nigeria?

* I also wish to know what information are required for the online referee forms.

Thank you.

Eco bank is usually N10 - N11 less than official rate shown on google.
In that case, I need to check them out. I have been waiting for the opportunity to use a nearby Zenith ATM these past two days without success. Thanks for the heads-up.
Business › Re: Payoneer Issue by U1(m): 4:08pm On Jun 16, 2015
teeowl:
Whatever the official rate is, make sure that you deduct N11 from it. If the official rate is N200, then make sure that you expect payoneer to convert $1 for you at N189.

I repeat do not check your balance on the ATM, they would deduct $1 for checking your balance! Always check your balance on your payoneer account online.
Actually, from experience, about N12.5 is the lowest you should deduct from the naira amount per dollar shown on Google. I have used only two banks, GTBank and Zenith, in the two years I've been using the card and I have come to realize the latter offers better rate. I'm still trying to see if I can find a better rate somewhere else -- that's what brought me this way, actually.

Oh yes. I should change it up and make transfers very early on in the week and then the captain and the transfer pulls up injured a day to the GW. .shior

Last weeks change was costly, looks like this weeks one is actually better. An aguero performance would make it awesome but the way the eeediot dey play nowadays sef
I wasn't necessarily asking you to make transfers early, but to simply adjust what you have to take care of scenarios where you are not able to do adjustment before deadline. Now, na one secret I give you free of charge so. grin

On that Aguero case, I concur. Anything short of double digits today, he's probably gone. I've already lost money on the fella.

Bob, chasing differentials na bad thing o. shocked So I decided to choose that course for this gameweek, staying off the Austin bandwagon for Benteke. Who's to know West Brom (with Pulis in charge) would open yansh for QPR of all teams like this. shocked huh This is why I sometimes think some of these matches are fixed.
