Thank you @Frankrobbn1 may you always have help like you give out freely to others. Please I had bvl last year when I was refused the visa will I still get it again? I'd like to reach you through email please. Frankrobbn1: The chances of getting a refusal after medical request is passed and BVL been initiated is very slim. I have come to understand that at this stage in every TRV application, the visa officer has passed the ELIGIBILITY assessment of the applicant and thus awaiting for the travel restrictions to be eased by the Government of Canada as well as the VAC to reopen before passport request can be sent to the applicant. (This information is evident from the GCMS notes, I vetted recently from students and PR applicants)
No one can tell for sure how long the entire process could last due to the unforeseen conditions associated with the novel COVID-19 pandemic as various Visa offices are presently working with critical and limited staffs. Hence, the increase in visa processing times.
You can only be optimistic and keep sending emails to the Nairobi immigration department via this official email address nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca
In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask.
It will end in praise. |

Please is it possible to be refused after this huge progress and how long does it take to get a final approval so as not to miss the online class. I already deferred from last fall to this fall Frankrobbn1: Accept my congratulations as there is a huge progress on your application. Kindly note that IRCC haven't been sending passport request (PPR) lately due to the fact that VAC are temporarily locked down. By the way, Have you received a BVL notification yet? Once this is done, your application has been finalized and ready for Visa (RFV) issuance.
It will end in praise. |

I applied June 16th and I was sent medical request on Wednesday fratermathy: I don't think those who applied after May 15th have received medical requests. I could be wrong but I am yet to see any. If there's anyone here, do well to indicate.
Secondly, how sure are you that they mail those bodies you've just mentioned? That would unnecessarily delay the process. I think they'll only mail them if there are noticeable inconsistencies in your application or if they're not sure of the authenticity of your documents. I doubt if it's the norm. However, I could be wrong. |

Thanks for your response JustMellow: Additional document request can be a good sign to an extent, and if it needs verification depending on the sensitive of the document, it can cause a little delay in processing. Find below Nairobi email address:

The Visa Officer, High Commission of Canada.
Dear sir/ma'am,

The purpose of this letter is to enquire about the processing of my visit visa application to enable me attend a Christian conference starting on Bleep. I applied on Bleep and till date, I have not gotten any update on my application. I applied from Nigeria with the application number Bleep and UCI number Bleep, and my date of birth is Bleep.
The conference date is fast approaching and I intended to travel on Bleep, so I can meet up with the program. I kindly appeal for my visit visa to be swiftly processed, so I can make proper preparations ahead of my travel. I hope to get a positive feedback to this email.
Sincerely,
Bleep
Hope this helps! |

Please, when did you apply? Dayofame: Good day I was denied a Canada study visa based on this reason I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
Please how can I respond to this situation if I want to reapply |

Congratulations Ayodeji786: *APPROVAL story*
I don't know where to start from but let me share my profile below first
Date Submitted: June 14th Biometric done; June 20 Review of eligibility: July 18th Medical reading: August 26th Upfront medical: August 26th Medical passed: August 30th BVL: September 4th Passport request: September 5th
But I sent them so many webforms before and immediately I got medical passed.
International passport biodata page Digital Passport Acceptance letter showing full funding from school.
All CIC forms
*Proof of Financial support* Funding letter from school Letter of sponsor by brother that is in USA. Affidavit of Sponsor. His USA passport/Evidence of legal citizen in the USA Proof of Relationship through his certificate of birth as having same parents. His Bank Account Statement His Pay stubs with monthly salary of $35,000 ( He is the medical director in a USA government hospital)
*Client Information Section* WAEC Certificate Transcript of Academic records BSc Certificate Statement of Purpose My mummy marriage certificate My dad death certificate Police report Birth Certificate
I changed career because I studied Zoology in my undergraduate and now I'm going for MSc Boreal Ecosystems and Agricultural Sciences but I explained what spurred my passion for it and courses I took relevant to the area. I'm not employed as I'm currently still doing my NYSC and didnt submit any nysc stuff.
In term of family ties, I do not have any ties as all my siblings are in the USA and Canada as I'm just the only one left here, they are already citizens of those countries and I listed all of them in the family information without hiding anything. I only used my mom who wasn't even in Nigeria as ties and I said I ll be coming back home for my marriage and I talked about employment prospects as the ties too.
The most important thing is prayer and fasting and it was my mom that did all that. I give *God all the glory*. *He is a faithful God*. All thanks to my *father's in the Lord* who saw this vision coming through for me, Qudkom, Frankrobb, Justmellow,Blema111, sterlingwaterloo and to many others I can't mention.
*I'm wishing the rest still waiting for decision a favourable outcome IJN especially my sister from another mother Mzjokky16. I love you so much you're the best* |

Good morning all, if I defer to September 2020 since I won't be able to meet up this fall because my visa is still being processed, will I be able to enter Canada anytime or if IRCC finds out about the deferral before my visa approval will they withdraw it? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by UBCcookies: 10:28am On Aug 23, 2019 |
I'll be quick about it. Thank you mcobex: Fill another family form with their details, also attach copie of their birth certificate and forward to cic (try to be fast about it as your approval might depend on how early they get it). CIC can be unpredictable sometimes, so just do what they asked and you will be just fine |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by UBCcookies: 10:26am On Aug 23, 2019 |
Thank you for your kind response Frankrobbn1: This is a good sign that there is a huge progress in your application. Thus, you shouldn't be nervous about it. Raise a CSE through webform via this Medium ; https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Nairobi and send the requested documents, your academic transcripts and duly completed family form (imm5645) to the Kenya Immigration office. Any additional information you feel may benefit the request (Birth Certificates) in the verification of your family details and education will be very crucial in your case. As a consequence, I'll advise you include the birth certificate OR international passport bio data page of your siblings as adequate proof to your application. Also, draft a brief letter of explanation which would list the documents you've provided to them.
It shall end in praises |

chichi93: In my opinion, you should just send what they asked for specifically. Birth certificate of your siblings is not a requirement and they didn't ask for it. Also did you fill the family form that had provision for your siblings? Cos there is an older version of the family form that doesnt. Confirm its the same code with the family form you initially submitted. Yes, I submitted the family formform that had provision for siblings and the code of the family form I submitted was IMM5645e but the stated code from the request letter is IMM5645 |
