Please how can I solve issue of dampness in the walls of a bedroom in my house? We are developing sniffing and sneezing allergies because of the damp walls in the house, we cannot move out for now. Please help with suggestions to solve it,

Thank you in advance.
Most likely that the land on which the house you reside in was built, is fadama (water logged). The foundation of the building was poorly done hence water sips into the walls, making it damp and to peel off.

@TonyeBarcanista,

What is the update please? Have your purchased your TSTV decoder?

I looked up their website yesterday but did not find their phone number which one can call to make enquiries.

My DStv will expire in the coming weeks, I truly do not want to renew the subscription.

It is a terrible situation here in Nigeria. They carry out their activities without being sensitive to the needs of others.

Your budget is the limiting factor here.

You cannot get any of the phones with 65k except you want to settle for a used one which may be laden with issues.

Lol.

   Russia is not like that.

Since I came here I never here church noise. Though churches are set away from residential buildings.

But they ones that are close don't make noise.

These people are not Like Nigeria where you'll find 20 to 30 Churches in one community making noise disturbing people.
It is terrible here in Nigeria.

A Pastor and his family will wake the whole neighborhood @4/5:00am to give thanks to 'god' for a new Month with the loud speaker blasting. Why not simply pray silently instead? Sometimes I wonder if their gods are deaf, hence they have to shout with the aid of loud speakers when praying.

Their Sunday and midweek services are worse. Same goes for their vigil services.

It is an Awesome country.
From your comments on page 3 (I did not quote it because it is long), do the Churches in the Russian city where you reside, makes noise like they do here in Nigeria? I am tired of having Churches in residential areas in Nigeria, creating noise population through their loud speakers at odd hours when others need to rest.

Even if it's 500k, it's not worth it.
Second hand value of that car is 200k.

I am advocating the Op to get a newer model Civic (2008-2010) @ 800k-1m in Naija instead of that ancestor vehicle.

But most peeps will tell you tokunbo or nothing..
Don't be deceived, some of us in Naija do maintain our autos more that the fhucking europeans.

Meanwhile, I drive a Honda Accord and it's sleek, just a little lower than Lamborghini Aventador.
My ride is just N800k tho, but if the op ended up with that civic, he will know we're not in the same class when he sees my 2006 Accord.
You earlier reported that your car was built in 2007. It seems you really do not know the year your car was built. Kindly post pictures of your Honda Accord here so we can confirm the actual year of production.

Thank you.

Don't mind him. There are peculiar experiences and there are general experiences. He is just giving you his own peculiar experience with his mobile polymer. Visit Ladipo parts market and ask for the prices of rx330 engine, gear, shocks absorbers..even the rear balloon of a 2005 x5 is 25k pair (Tokunbo). Spring absorber is 10k pair for real and 14k for front. The 2005 x3 front absorber is 30k tokunbo. The x5 headlamp is 40k pair while x3 headlight is 100 to 120k pair..I can go on and on... Don't let anyone deceive you here.
You are right about the maintenance costs of the X5 and X3.

The X3 costs more to maintain, the parts are also more expensive than the X5.

No matter how you try to paint it, lemme put the records straight. In that 6.5years of my Lexus ownership, a BMW X5 owner may had gone thru multiple repairs on various mechanical, suspension and electrical components several times. Cumulatively, the bills will be higher than that of the Lexus one time repair bill.

Think out of the box.
I disagree with you here.

The BMW X5 is cheaper in maintenance costs and spare parts than the RX330.

How did you arrive at the words in bold especially as you have not had a first hand experience with the X5?

Hmm.. you will have to take your car to the market where they sell brain box for bmw in Lagos because they'll have to test to see the one that works. The brainbox thing can be annoying if your car is far away and they have to be buying and returning because it doesn't work. Even when you buy the exact model, you still have to test several times to get the one that works.
You are right.

Thank you for the feedback.
