saliuafo:Its either your TM shirts are fake or you stole them. The cheapest you can get TM shirts is 4 shirts for £90 for slim fit and £20 each for regular shirts. There are lots of fake TM lewin shirts in Nigeria. |
Just watching question time on BBC one. The question asked was on Obama in scathing attack on BP chief. Someone in the audience reminded Obama of the oil spill caused by American companies in Niger Delta Nigeria. The coordinator obviously didn't want to go into that discussion so he said the focus is on Gulf oil spill. |
Top 10 reasons a gun is favored over a woman #10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22. # 9. You can keep one gun at home and have another for when you're on the road. # 8. If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times. # 7. Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another gun for a backup. # 6. Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo. # 5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space. # 4. Guns function normally every day of the month. # 3. A gun doesn't ask , 'Do these new grips make me look fat?' # 2. A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it. And the number one reason a gun is favored over a woman, # 1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A GUN |
Lord, You are my strenght and song. Thank you Lord! |
I do not believe that Nigeria is the 2nd poorest nation in the world. It is just a fallacy. What data was used to measure that. Most times they use Nigeria's income from oil ad gas. The fact is that lest than 3% of Nigerians depend on oil for survival. The 3% include federal and state civil servants and the 3 arms of government. By all standards, Nigerians that live and work in Nigeria are better than Nigerians that like abroad eg in the UK. |
Yeah, it does. |
Thank you Lord for journey mercies. |

"I am the Good Shepherd; I know My own sheep, and they know Me . . . They will listen to My voice" (John 10:14, 16 . One way to worship God is to listen to Him. Listening is one of the greatest gifts you can give to somebody. When you listen to someone, you're saying, "You matter to me."I value what you have to say. I value your opinion. You're important to me." When you don't listen to somebody, you are basically saying, "You don't matter to me. You're not important to me. I don't value what you have to say." The same is true with God. Every time you listen to God, you're saying, "God, you matter to me. I value what you have to say." Listening is the most misunderstood and overlooked part of prayer. Most of us think that prayer is just talking to God. That's only fifty percent of prayer. The other fifty percent of prayer is getting quiet and letting God speak to us. Usually we're in too much of a hurry to do this. What we do is say, "Hi, God, it's me. I've got ten things I need from You. Thank you. Over and out. Goodbye." We don't wait and listen. We don't say, "God, do You have a few things to say to me?" Did you know that the Bible says hearing God's voice is a test of whether you're a true believer—whether you're in God's family—whether you're headed for heaven or not? In John 10, Jesus essentially says, "I am the Good Shepherd; I know My own sheep, they know Me, and they listen to My voice." How often do you pause to listen to God each day? Do you pause and say, "God, is there anything You want to say about this?" When you're trying to make a decision, or you're getting ready to go to an event, or you're about to talk to somebody about something important, do you pause and say, "God, is there anything You want to say about this?" Evaluate yourself on that. God wants you to hear Him, and by listening, you worship Him. |
. This is hilarious. ThioSlim, you are really a very smart babe. You know some people very well that you could detect when they try to pose as someone else. Being really busy with my year end report and preparations for my trip - oh no, why didn't I see the trend that day and the picture in question.REF 1: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-273908.224.html Peeps STELARTOIS and Whitelexi are both the same peep. . .trust me I know this dude well. . .and I can confirm he's one of the pathetic Nlder that would do something like this. . . Re: Nairaland Guys Are Ugly; Checked Their Profiles « #233 on: May 19, 2009, 04:36 PM » Geeez. . . Grin Grin Grin. . .your trying to use this fake Id to get me jealous. . .I mean you and I know it wouldn't be the first time or second time you would stoop this low. . . .but come to think of it don't you think it makes you look pathetic? . . Hmmm. . .why does this person sound familiar? Grin Grin Grin. . .I thought you were pathetic. . .but I never knew it were to such magnitude? Shocked Shocked Shocked I swear WHITELEXI. . .you are the most pathetic fellow I've ever come across. REF 2: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-273521.0.html Whitelexi, thank your God that the picture you posted on that trend or on stella's profile was not seen. If that picture was someelse's picture, that could land you in big trouble. You are in the UK oh and not in Nigeria where anything goes. I also believe you would not want you old mother in the village to suffer because she depends on you. Besides you can't be too sure that a case was not made against you sometime ago and that you are being monitored. I advise be more creative and not waste your time creating trends under another profile. A word is enough for the wise! |

President Yar'Adua wants to go to the G-20 Summit to enjoy all that photo-opportunity with Obama, Her Majesty The Queen and other world leaders and have Madam Turai join the G20 wives at the concert performance? ![]() |
[/quote]Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has vowed not go back on its demand for N52,200 new minimum wage, insisting that government must pay a living wage to workers. Speaking at the at the quadrennial delegates conference of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria in Benin at the weekend, the acting President of the NLC, Peter Adeyemi said Labour would not accept the global financial crisis, which government was using as an excuse. Is this possible!! |

Your gist is true. I started live trading two weeks ago. Got to know about the competition from Mark McRae" -support@tradeology.com because I subscribe to his daily email on FOREX trading. emmaco24:My dear unstable power supply and slow internet connections is really bad news when it comes to FOREX trading. I had that problem when I was in Nigeria. Though I was not trading live then. The two Nigerian guys that were among winners are not full time forex traders. They have jobs. It is amazing that some Nigerians in UK do not trade forex or practice with a demo despite the uninterrupted power and fast internet available to then. Had a friend in London that is an IT consultant. He spends his evening and weekends playing games or chatting instead of doing creative things like forex trading yet he complains of bills, bills, bills. I really wept for him then. |
ThoniaSlim:Sometimes what we think is love is infatuation. I had that experience. Met this guy when I was in my teens. Somehow we drifted. Met him again after 10years. We got close and I regretted meeting him again. His character is terrible: he has a bad temper, blames his shortcomings on his family, lives like a pig, leaves in one room in a nasty apartment, snores and talks about his secrets while asleep. For the short while we were together I always cried cos I wasted ten years thinking about him. He never knew why I cried. Thank God its over because it opened my eyes to see the lovely, handsome guy that has been proposing for two yrs now. I didnt waste time to say yes after I parted with my 'so called LOVE' and the wedding is this Christmas. |
GTB is the best. i opened my domi account on a monday with 400dallors and I did a funds transfer to America on a wednesday. I have their mastercard too. GTB is the best. to me ohhhhhhhhhhhh! |
AIMS is a fraudster. They don't give customers statements as and when due to let them know what was purchased. I was given a statement of my account last year, I received another one 10 months later with gross irregularities on it. The purchase price of a stock on the 1st statement I received added 60k on the second statement. The volume of the stock was above 100000 units. Just imagine the robbery. I sold some of my stocks two months ago. I noted the least price of the stock the week it was sold. when I received my statement, the sell price on the statement was below the lowest price of the stock the week it was sold. they are crooks. The worse is that their customers outside Lagos are the worse hit cos if they order for the sale of any stock, it would take 3-4wks for them to receive their cheques. |

I am only a Public servant, in my twenties, single and I applied with my bank statements, cscs statement etc. It is not a big deal besides they av enough information on their website. |
I sent a pre-application for PhD to University of Alberta. I passed and was told to send my full application which I have done. I made 3.95/5.0 in my BSc and 4.67/5.0 in MSc. I did not write toefl or sat cos the university I attended is among the schools that the university of Alberta exempted from writing toefl or sat. Do I really need a toefl certificate for student visa application. |
got a PhD admission in a canadian school. the school exempted some universities in Nigeria from having toefl as a prerequisite for admission. The university I attended is among. Do I need a toefl certificate to be able to get a study permit. |
