gotta agree with eldee on this one, i aint no vegetarian, i need beef!!!

must admit though, after reading the lyrics, Game sure knows how to diss

can't wait to see how jigga responds, this is a very important beef for both men, Jay has to show he ain't past it, Game needs to show he is the future,
The future of whathuh? Have U listened to any of his recent interviews , dude is thinking about retirement.
I knew he was past it when he started talking about how many albums he would have sold had he remained part of the G-unit crew.

rapjunkie:
i'm just pissed off that after all of this, Game will start apologising .
His lyrics are good and I like his beat but he is quick to draw the sword and even more quick to sheath them. Makes him sound like a whiner .
Music/RadioRe: The Game: I'm So Wavy by Uche2nna(m): 5:34pm On Jul 23, 2009
Nice song ,,,, kinda liked the beat too.

But Game got me confused these days,  the only thing consistent about him is his inconsistency. I just saw a clip of him apologizing to 50 cents after all that 300 bars shit,  he said some unsavory stuff about Em in a song but took out that verse from the released cut. Now he is dissing Jay and apologizing to Beyonce  shocked  Dude should have just dissed Jay and if Beyonce wants to take it personal, then let her bring it on too.

I am also confused about the DOA thingy,  Jigga didnt give me the impression that he was dissing Tpain on that song but Game seems to make it out to be so. And I thought that Kanye was on that DOA song??  undecided

Game acts like someone who is bipolar, from one extreme to the other undecided

@Uche2nna, it is obvious at this point that you want to believe everyone else out there who claim to be Ibos believe exactly what you do, and that is fine for you but I like to live in the real world. If you have nothing real to add, mind drop this now and allow this debate continue with those who are able to handle opposing views? I already see you going to other threads to ridicule your self.

this is nairaland. There are a thousand other people on here you can focus on instead of my person. Thanks for the debate to this point, but let us not do this again please!

Oh, I have already dropped this a long time ago. U brought up my name again and thats why I responded.  Keep my name outta ur posts and I will do the same , aiighht.

Okay, I get ur point. I hope U learn from this mistake.

I dont know how else to U can go about this but by appealing to his sense of responsibility. He holds all the aces now and all U can do is plead and beg him to do the job he has been paid to do. That sounds ridiculous , I know, but thats Naija for U.

Maybe NL members like Sauron, Crackles, lalaboi et al might go a long way in helping U. I suggest U talk to one of them.

PoliticsRe: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 4:57pm On Jul 04, 2009
Okay, Kobo this why I dont take U seriously but decided U were fun company tho for the hols.

Let me try and argue with U and pretend U will be logical and provide me with facts .

U said there are records of Igbos who fought against the Biafran cause during the war. Thats ur word and nothing to show for it. So I think that

1) U use the term Igbo loosely

2) Can U show me something more tangible than just blowing hot air? U know a link or something. We know there were saboteurs during the war and majority of them did that for economic reasons rather than a deep love for the unity of Nigeria. Asides from that, show me some tangible proof, that Igbos actually did come out gun blasting agaianst fellow Igbos.

2) Now the most important flaw in ur gibberish IMO is that even if this is true , how does that detract from the legitimacy of the Biafran cause? Look here, during the American revolutionary war, 40 to 45% supported the rebellion, 15 to 20 percent remained loyal to the British crown and actually fought against fellow Americans and about 35 percent remained neutral. Given this statistics, how did this deter from the legitimacy of the American fight for self rule?

This was how I expected U to argue with percentages and statistics and not come here to tell me that U met a guy in Owerri who said he was short-changed by the Biafran govt and on account of that U concluded that majority of the Igbos dont support Biafra.

Thats why I thot this thread was a joke all along but decided to play long to relieve myself of boredom. Maybe U can change it to a more intellectually stimulating conversation by providing records and statistics to back up ur bogus claims.

PoliticsRe: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 4:14pm On Jul 04, 2009
Kobojunkie:
b) THE BIGHT OF BIAFRA included OTHER TRIBES that did not want to be a part of Biafra/BIAFAR even during the war and to date probably feel the same way -- There are records of Ibos who fought on the other side.
I have never disagreed with U on that count. Times have changed , boundaries have become sharper and well- defined and so have affiliations. One NL member called Sapele raised the same issue on account of the maps he saw and I took time to address his concerns cos he was more forthcoming with his points. U seem to dance around issues and since I it is the  July 4th holidays, I had time and decided to dance around for the fun of it.

Now to ur question: Kobo , If Nigeria divides today, I dont think that it will divide along the symmetry the war was fought. A lot of things have changed since 1966 and a lot of regions have become politically ,economically and mentally stronger. Biafra will only consist of those states where the cause of Biafra is 99.9% supported and any other adjoining states that wants to join in. Unlike the British amalgamation in 1914, nobody is going to twist arm any faction in joining an alliance that they dont want to be part of.

thank you jare, its like AA have a tolerance problem or something cus i don't understand how a father can be held responsible for a son's choices in life. At least some of his brothers that were less talented did not kill themselves or do something rubbish like that.

Its high time people start stop blaming others for Jacksons flaws.

Yes his father was a privates, nevertheless it does not mean he has an excuse to live large, it does not mean he has an excuse to give birth to white kids that have not genetical link to him. it does not mean he has an excuse to continue working on his nose.

By the way, the bible says thou shall not hate.
That has always been my opinion about Mikey and his life style. My friends think that I just hate the guy.

His father might have been excessively strict and all that, but Michael has to at some point take responsibility for his own actions. A man past the age of 30 still blaming his old man for his Bleep ups sounds absurd to me.

I wish my dad would  have whipped me into super stardom  grin I was whipped but I aint got nothing to show for it.

Good samaritan Kobo.

U use ur words to cloak ur cowardice very nicely.

I dont see any need going further with U on this cos honestly, U have no facts.
We have gone this over and over again, and U are yet to prove to me that there are Igbos who are opposed to having something better than what Nigeria is offering today. Not even here on NL, well apart from Okpuzo who can only boast of just 3 posts grin Go figure!!!

Okpuzu:
Uche, you represent the problem that the Ibos have. You are a typical example. You are insultive and believe that only u have the answer. Every other person is not an Ibo or Igbo but u. Any contrary opinion is daft.

The next thing u will want to go to war without preparation. People like u will never learn from history. Today, the Ibo nation have been set back more than 20 years and we are now playing catch-up. If anybody is daft, it is people like you Uchenna. Go ahead and carve and declare Biafra in ur bedroom and in ur dream. Somewhere along the line, u will wake up
When U decide to change handles to peddle ur fears, U get exactly what U asked for.  No need for changing handles and pretending what U are not; hence my rudeness  grin

Now that I have gotten ur attention, I apologize for insulting U, lets get back to the discussion.

U have accused that the Igbos did this and did that. U have also said that the Igbos will self-destruct if left on their own (same sentiments as Kobojunkie).
My question to U is : Are U saying that whatever we have achieved as a people since 1960 was solely due to the Federal Republic of Nigeria. That we would have amounted to nothing if we were not part of this British amalgamation?

I can give U a whole page of reasons why the Nigerian experiment is an anomaly. U just give me a reason why U think that Nigeria is the best thing since sliced bread when we have witnessed things go from bad to worse. This is the same Nigeria that connived to economically strangle a group of people right after the civil war. Same Nigeria that wont sit and talk about the best way to distribute resources. The same Nigeria where religious killings are encouraged.

In 1966, it was about the Igbos and Biafra, fast foward to 2009, it is no longer that simple. Most ethnic groups are no longer comfy about the whole situation but , hey, cos they feel the secession bid is an Igbo thing , most will scream "One Nigeria" when the same Nigeria is killing them.

I have told
PoliticsRe: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 2:46pm On Jul 04, 2009
@ Okpuzu

Ur style of writing reveals who U are.

U persistent reference of Igbos as Ibos further rats U out. Grow some brains or get a transplant.

Why are u looking for the best governor in Nigeria ? How is that remotely relevant to the cause at hand?

Okpuzu:
Was there fairness? Was there Equity?
U must be very daft!!!
Nigeria is a shining example of fairness and equity, abi?

Okpuzu:
Who told u that a BIAFRA if granted to Ibos today will be a success with all the highsense every Ibo man thinks he has? Who told u that every Ibo from diverse regions will be well respected and better off in a new "BIAFRA"? Who among all the people talking together were in the BIAFRAN enclave and knew what transpired bw 1966 and 1970? Was there fairness?
This is exactly what I hear daily from people who bear deep pathological fears on what will happen to them if and when Nigeria splits.
Who told U this? Who told U that?
Why are U so worried weather we are gonna be a success or not? Its not ur business to worry about us. Last I heard, U have enuff worrying of ur own to do.
PoliticsRe: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 6:45am On Jul 04, 2009
Sorry, I was busy,,, anyways back to Kobo and his/her warped reasoning.

Why are u so obsessed with what will happen to those Igbos who "allegedly" in ur opinion did not support the Igbo the cause. Save ur sympathy and concerns for ur own people, I am sure a lot of people in ur ethnic extraction are in need of ur sympathy and then some.

Ezeagu asked U a question and U are chasing shadows. Why am I not surprised?

Why do U really want the Igbos to stay with U?

According to U, we have been contributing zilch to the fixing of the so called Nigerian house. So why do U always come here to spew nonsense whenever the issue of secession is raised undecided
If I have a house mate who is not contributing anything to the mortgage and upkeep of the house and the guy decides to leave the house, I will be the first to say good riddance to bad rubbish. If I start making excuses and conjuring up scenarios that predicts his failure if he moves out, then I must be lying about his contribution to the house.
PoliticsRe: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 12:47am On Jul 04, 2009
Kobojunkie:
a) You never really did much to try to fix the house all through the 40 year period.
U asking for us to stick to reality here and U go off making bogus claims, even before the war there were attempts to fix a leaking faucet and all those attempts came to nought.

Take out the Igbos and their clamour for independence from the equation, how much and well have Nigeria fared.  An indication of that is the upheaval in the Niger delta. How many times have the idea for resource control being mooted and how many times have that being smooched up.
I remember Obj going around mouthing his mouth off in the North in 2002 just before the Sovereign National conference that the reason behind the civil war was fought was because of resource control as if the North needed any persuasion to vote against that. Take that for ur repairs!!!!

Kobojunkie:
b) A better house hAS NOT COME ALONG, instead you are DREAMING UP a better house, even though you have yet to PROVE you can even handle owning a house.
The point is that I am not asking U to leave ur house and come live in my dream house. If U think it is a dream, then leave me to go live my dream. I am the one who is going to end up homeless , not you. So if U dont have some ulterior motives, why are U insisting I stay. I know U dont love me  grin

Kobojunkie:
By my assessment, Ibos have yet to prove, like every other tribe in that country, themselves capable of handling responsibilities that come with owning a house.
Who the Bleep are U?  undecided We dont need to prove shit to U, see me see trouble ooooo!!!! Take ur assessment and stick it.

So u are saying that if the British had not amalgamated us in 1914 , all the tribes in the geographical space called Nigeria would have gone extinct?  undecided
