posakosa:LOL, that must be ur wish I am as straight as a needle , abeg, so no dice ![]() |
posakosa: ![]() U are joking, right? ![]() |
KAG:@ KAG Interesting, can U please shed more light on this claim. Why do U think it is not sudden? I dont know about embarrassing ,tho. KAG:LOL |

Nice pics!!!!!! |
morpheus24:I am not saying that your statement is incorrect, I am only giving my own point of view , which is what it is, just a point of view. The changes in phenotype of the explanted pygmies U attributed to mutation,no? I am just saying that it is likely that it has nothing to do with with making new set of genes or alleles to adapt to the new environment but environmental pressure resulted in a selection of alleles of genes (that were already present) and this will manifest itself in some mild phenotypic differences.Another explanantion, which again has nothing to do with mutation , is that of genetic drift which u actually raised in one of your posts. And from the posts between U and Beaf, I think I understand now what U are trying to say, so I will just shut the Bleep up, lol, . |
Moderate is a relative term. What is moderate for one might be lavish for the other ![]() Be specific, abeg. |
morpheus24:Thats a classic example right there and I am glad U brought that up. However, this always reminds me of the case of the chicken and the egg which came first? The difference between the sickle cell gene mutation and what is known as the normal gene is in just one amino acid (glutamic acid replaced by valine). That to me is a highly specific change and not compatible with the random nature of spontaneous mutations. Is there any evidence against these two alleles co-existing side by side instead of the prevalent notion that the sickle cell gene came as a result of mutation of the "normal gene"? How do we even know which one is the normal gene and which one arose as a result of mutation? |
morpheus24:Again like I said, very easy to misconstrue the two, Let me try and put it this way, Mutations do not occur within selective pressure (mutation can and will always happen with or without selective pressure). U probably would be better off saying that selective pressure occurs within mutations, and even that will depend on what U believe is the origin of allelic variations in nature. |
morpheus24:It seems u are mixing up selective pressure and mutation. They are two very different processes and most times result in opposite effects. 99 percent of mutations in an organism are deleterious and most times the organism with those mutations fails to make it to the next generation. |
THE AMAKA:Racist alert ![]() |
Quam1:2 minutes, mine is 10 minutes behind, When everybody was chanting 3:3 , I was still watching a game that was 3:1 |
Cristalz:LOL!!!!!!! Plenty of immigrants for this German team, which one be Aboubacar again? |
Guys don dey rush go house ![]() |
lalaboi:No this is Nigerian U17 (the real U17's) vs Germany U17 |
MUZBO:There are TONNES of ways Nigeria and Nigerians can help reduce global warming without having to chase a white elephant project. How can U be talking about going green in a country where almost three quarters of the cars on the road are so old that they emit carbon monoxide. What about the noise/emissions of generators that surround every nook and cranny. Pure water jackets littered everywhere, nko? Please dont make it sound as if elecrtic cars are the be all and end all of our pollution problems cos it is not,,,, Germany of today plans to introduce one million electric cars by 2020. The German branch of the environmental group WWF carried out a study showing that in the best possible scenario those 1 MILLION cars will be cutting down gas emissions by 1 percent and the overall nation carbon dioxide emiision will be cut by 0.1 percent. U are welcome to draw ur own conclusions. |
wesleyM: I don die ![]() |
Purist:LOL, trust Nigerians to turn every argument into "my own beta pass ur own". Someone even went as far as defining it along ethnic lines No matter babapupa and his cohorts say, the facts are there to see. No state in this present day Nigeria has what it takes embark on an electric car project. At this point, thats more a liability on our meagre resources. We have more pressing problems than that. It bugs me that babapupa will keep on saying that generating electricty is not Fashola's portfolio. One wonders then how he will power those cars? If he can generate power for those cars, then he sure can generate power 24/7 for the whole of lagos. If he loves the environment so much, then maybe he should start with replacing all the Govt owned SUV's with fuel efficient cars like Golf. |
babapupa:What is development without reasoning? I will tell U what, absolute chaos!!! Do U jump onto the band wagon because thats the trend ? Alternative energy is the craze now but at what price And given that Nigeria is a country that has deeply entrenched the culture of maintenance and waste disposal, I am sure that those advocating for electric cars at this point have come up with very safe startegies to dispose of , say, the , batteries which by the way is not your normal lead acid battery. We all know how well dispose of the normal lead acid battery in Nigeria. I am sure that the progressive minded guys like babapupa have come up with strategies to also minimise road mishaps cos with all the electricity surging throu an electric car , U can only begin to imagine what will happen if one of those cars happen to be involved in an accident. U dont have to import electric cars to prove that U are ecofriendly, Just take care of all the pure water jackets lying around the city and U will be as ecofriendly as south pole. |
This is futuristic ? With the way fashion is going, I thot that the future will be bum naked These are guys are mostly fully clothed!!!! |
babapupa:The project is going to create jobs, so will the constructing and maintaining good roads , electricity, water , u know the basic amenities that some people actually take for granted in countries that are serious. Electric cars in Nigeria is like putting the cart before the horse,,,,,,, and besides that technology is light years away from being perfected. |
I assumed the OP was talking about whites Of course the AA's come well endowed, sometimes too fucking endowed ![]() U can add the Chinese to the flat chested , no booty having lassies category. |
na2day?:LOL!!!!! Actually , I think he is right, and yeah he forgot one thing, booty, |
It would really help if I get to hear/watch his predictions before the event unfolds. For some reason , I only get to get wind of his predictions after the deed has been done. That doesnt help me, One question, results of the Nigerian Vs Moz. and Tunisia Vs Kenya What about Nigerian U17 Vs Germany U17?? ![]() |
koolchicco:LOL!!!!!!!!!! First time in years I have heard someone use that !!!!! |
KnowAll:Interesting point of view. Its a sensitive issue alright but not one we can hide from. Actually, its one of the points that the African Americans will raise anytime U enter into any kind of discourse with them on issues concerning race and heritage. Why sweep it under the rug? It happened, it happened and yes, we as a race have to bear some of the responsibility or at least acknowledge that we didnt do our best to protect our own. That our fore fathers were involved in slave trade didnt and wouldnt in anyway make it right and it is not self defeacation in any form or manner if someone decides to discuss about what happened. |
bawomolo:My sentiments exactly Murrafucking KKK in disguise |
Kobojunkie:Yeah, and the bathroom comment? They use my bathroom, what is that supposed to achieve? Intergration? Why is it a big deal that he allows a black man to use his bathroom? It must have meant a whole lot to him for him to bring it up. |
The man should set aside his personal opinion and do his damn job And why is that when most of these racists are called out, they make start making up imaginary black friends. I have piles and piles of black friends, who cares!!! Mr Bardwell, who has worked in the role for 34 years, said that in his experience most interracial marriages did not last very long and estimated that he had refused applications to four couples in the past two-and-a-half years. LOL!!! For a Justice of peace, this guy can really play the part of a clown. America is almost the divorce capital of the world and it has nothing to do with interracial marriages |
