She has committed an offence by marrying 2 men. From the story line, the 2 men did not even know she was married to someone else, so it is clearly not the same as polygamy - where the current wives at least know about an incoming wife. She has deliberately turned 2 men at each other, she has cheated in her marriages by commiting a federal offence and deserves maximum punishment for her crime.

I bear no sympathy for this woman because she is greedy and self-delusional, wanting to have it all to herself by having 2 men cater for her needs, if she was the one taking care of 2 homes and everyone was aware of this, it would be different and i would feel differently. I hope she gets an adequate sentencing because this is exactly the type of behaviour we do not want from our children.

I dont give two hoots on whateva happens to the said woman but calling it a federal offense beats me  In Nigeria?

Given she is a cheat, but whats new?

She married two men LEGALLY; both of them dont need to know nor do they even need to consent for it to qualify as polygamy or polyandry or watever U want to call it.
I am sure the Police would have cared less if the woman was substituted for a man and the two men substituted for two women.

It is human to be jealous about stuff we cherish but I have some issues on the way U went about it. IMO, U should have played it cool. U might be jealous but dont let her know that U are , at least not on that one count. Give her room to burn out her excitement. It is a good thing that she is letting U know that she is all gaga about seeing this guy,,,,, what U dont know is why? It might be platonic , it might be romantic and that's for U to find out. Do not assume or U might lose ur girl due to lack of trust.

Moreso, U would prefer that U know whats going on,,,,, I know most girls that would act as if nothing dey happen while secretly seeing the guy on the side. It seems ur girl has been honest with U so far and that is a rare trait in girls these days. The worst that would happen is that U lose girl to another guy but at least U will know whats going on.

Keep calling her today to see if she would pick up. At the end of the day if she does not pick up, quit calling her. Give her time to stew and let her call U if she will. if she does not, then brace up to losing ur girl

For marrying two men at the same time, men of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 48-year-old housewife, Okeowo Ada.


Okeowo was arrested by the police in Shasha in Alimosho council area, when two men, Demola and Afolabi, who laid claim to being her husband, engaged each other in a street fight. P.M.NEWS gathered that Demola confronted Afolabi accusing him of having amorous affairs with his wife. Unknown to them, the woman was married to each of them at separate marriage registries, as discovered by the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sergeant Shittu, during interrogation of Okeowo Ada .

The police officer therefore arrested the woman and detained her at the station. She will likely face a charge of conduct capable of breaching the peace, as well as bigamy, an offence relating to a woman marrying more than one man at the same time. When our reporter visited the Shasha police station, Okeowo Ada was seen around but she declined to speak on the matter. The police also declined comments. However, a reliable source from the police station confirmed the incident. The source also told our reporter that the woman will be arraigned in the court very soon.

However, to show that something is just an effect, U have to also show the underlying cause. U believe that the underlying cause is God but it just befuddles my mind how U would go about showing that experimentally.
Basically, U are saying that U want to give us empirical evidence that God exists.

Given what we know about the probable number of genes and their DNA coding sequences and fitting that into a probability model to determine how many permutuations and combinations of random and spontaneous amino acids changes would have to occur in order to get an organism as highly coordinated as man makes it a really stupid idea.
It is mathematically impossible for humans to have evolved from mutation of DNA coding sequences cos one, the error rate would be humongous and two, it would be a very painful, albeit long process. Left to random mutation alone, we would prolly be still at the level of cockroaches at this age and that is if we manage to evolve without accumulating deleterious mutations.

And now to tell me that non-coding DNA sequences also played a part is even making the evolutionary theory harder and harder to buy.

Actually, thats a very good question.

It just struck me that the caucasians that I have interacted with have a better understanding of Africa as a continent than most AA I have spoken with.
