semid4lyfe: Sag, I mean some people believed in him (Amodu) enough to appoint him (a local coach) as the coach of the Super Eagles despite all the clamour for a foreign coach then but he then turns around and says no single home-based player is good enough for the Super Eagles. Haba! Even me wey I be im staunch supporter no fit stomach that one. Thats the major beef I have with Amodu. Nigerian clubs have been doing VERY VERY well African competitions (Heartland even went all the way to the final in the CAF champions league) and yet Amodu says he cant find any talent in the Nigerian league. Even when Nigerian clubs where shitty, Westerhoff was able to extract Kanu, Finidi et al from the league. Look at the Ghana team, the future is very bright for the black stars. |

akinalabi: I think Algeria deserved it in the end I agree with you. Algeria almost played CIV out of Cabinda That call was controversial to say the least but then thats football. Ivory coast benefited from some dubious officiating in 06 , so they should take this in their stride. Sorry, Mukina |

dominique: the sports analysts in different tv stations are badly underestimating the chipolopolo of Zambia (what a name!!!). i'm sure the super eagle players and coaches are also doing the same. wont surprise me one bit if we lose the S/F ticket . i wish them the best. Not Mamodu on Supersports 3 . That guy is predicting doomsday for Naija And funny enuff, I agree with him. |

In all ur relationships , there is only one common denominator: YOU.
If u continuously find urself in nasty relationships, I suggest is time U sit back and look in the mirror. The answer might be staring right back at U. |

Thats one unavoidable flaw with NL threads. Very hard to make an intelligent decision based on a very one sided story.
Fact is some women are greedy and jealous. So it can be true that the sisters are milking the dude dry or that the poster (another girl) is crying wolf for nothing. Either way, U cant tell from just this story.
In any case, they are not even married yet, so she still has the option to leave. The OP need not open a thread on NL to realize that. |

naijaway: . Obama should not run it down the public as he had planned to but regardless of when they decide or what party decides it is bound to be many pages and many people will still say it is too long to understand. I believe they will figure out a better strategy of presentation on healthcare and other fronts. I think U just nailed the problem on the head. There is a lot of stuff going on behind closed doors that have left a lot of americans confused. Many think the bill is shrouded in mystery and so cant possibly be a good thing. Also having to pay off senators and make other states bear the cost of healthcare in one state wont go down well with most of the citizenry. Especially if they come from a state that already has some form of government run health care program. Scot Brown played on these points very well in Massa. and pulled off a victory. If the status quo dont change and the democrats dont learn from this; expect more upsets come Nov. Obama should also learn one thing, dont make promises U cant keep He promised that he will make the proceedings following health care reforms public on C-span. That is really hurting him now |

pie1ect: Zambia beat Gabon who had previously beaten Cameroun, making Zambia theoretically superior to Cameroun in the group. So
Doesn't look very convincing but that's all I can come up with. Yeah, not convincing at all. Cameroon BEAT Zambia |

However, we know that reputable machines suddenly fail to work when it comes to Nigeria. Even the machine go accept bribe and give u fake results. Same thing that happened with the MRI machines brought in for bone density scanning during the U-17 tourney. |

unite4real: Africa Cup of Nations : Group D Table Thursday, 21 January 2010 17:58 UK P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Zambia 3 1 1 1 5 5 0 4 2 Cameroon 3 1 1 1 5 5 0 4 3 Gabon 3 1 1 1 2 2 0 4 4 Tunisia 3 0 3 0 3 3 0 3 So y is Zambia listed tops Based on alphabetical order alone, Cameroon should be topping They should also be topping based on head to head |

dayokanu: The mini league would be like ---------------P --W--D--L--GF--GA--GD--PTS Cameroun ----2---1---0--1--3----3---0-----3 Gabon---------2---1---0--1--2----2--0------3 Zambia--------2---1---0--1--4---4---0------3
With this analysis Zambia tops the group! As they have more goals scored in the mini league and Cameroun second LOL!! Just wondering why Tunisia bothered to show up if the results for and against them dont count. This is a tournament not a mini league |

ow11: Does the head-to-head rule supercede number of points tallied? If not, why isn't Gabon in the picture as they beat Cameroun I have the same issues too. Head to head sucks and should not be used to determine who gets what. However, Gabon lost out cos they scored only 2 goals Crazy, right? I know!!!! In this case, the guys with the most negatives against them lose out. Gabon were beaten by Zambia 2 goals to 1, so Zambia is ahead already using the head to head rule. Gabon scored less goals than Cameroon , thats another negative. 2 strikes, and they are out LOL!! Cameroon on the other hand beat Zambia, so they top the group. |

ow11: Zambia did play a one - all draw with Tunisia then. Yup ow11: So wtf did CAF use to separate them? Head to head Cameroun beat Zambia 3 goals to 2 |
Sports › Re: Africa Nations Cup Angola 2010. The Official Thread by Uche2nna(m): 7:18pm On Jan 21, 2010 |
ow11: Gabon, Cameroun and Zambia all lost to one another and finished on equal number of points and thus the much maligned 'head-to-head' rule is inapplicable in this group.
They also finished with zero goal difference and thus the defining factor is number of goals scored and Zambia scored 6, Cameroun scored 5 and Gabon scored 2.
Therefore, Amodu's Eagles play Zambia in the Q/F! Where did u get information from U? Zambia scored 5 goals and not 6 unless if balls that hit the cross bars count? |
