Cause some guys find cellulite to be so hot ![]() |
~Borat~:Sorry, abeg. My mouth sharrap |
davidylan:Yeah, I have heard the same recycled stuff over and over again that it is sickening. Everytime Aristotle and Creation is brought up , someone will try and shove the "First Cause" postulate to your face without really telling us what the Greek philosophers meant by the First cause. That was not even an original thought of Aristotle,,,,,Plato had already posited this idea. "First Cause" in itself is not an explanation for man's presence on earth. Every dogma, theory, doctrine, belief or hypothesis implies a "First Cause" . The differences lie in the identity of the first cause. Some believe it is fire, others think it is water. Plato was sure it was motion , same as Aristotle. Some scientists these days think it is collision (hence the big bang theory). How someone can now come and say that Christianity borrowed from Aristotle befuddles me. |
michelin89: Do you mind giving specific examples or is this just one of those claims that will remain unsubstantiated? ![]() |
kokoye:Most times it is used as an excuse to be just plain rude and obnoxious. It goes hand in hand with "I'm a grown woman" as if that was under any kind of dispute |
Mydex:Thats a very interesting question. How reliable is that wrist MRI scan? The proponents claims that it is 99.1 percent accurate so going by that all of the boys should be within the age bracket. However, I can't help looking at Chukwudi and Okoro and thinking "these MRI guys must be kidding" ![]() In any case, I think those boys play a very enterprising brand of football!!! |
samaiin:LOL The attitude problem of most successful women is mostly some form of defensive mechanism in a man's world. I can condone that. The one wey I no fit understand na the shuegbes with nothing but still dey claim divas ![]() |
justwise:It depends on weather u get ur internet service from a company affiliated to ESPN, those companies are listed on the ESPN360 website. |
*jona:Thats odd ![]() They told us how Pa Soludo was released but never told us how they caught the suspects |
CHANCEMAN:We are waiting for U and Manny to come and start up an airline in Onitsha that will charge 4,000 naira. I go even patronize una. Manny's figures are idealistic, far from the reality called Nigeria. VALENCI:Arrant nonsense. |
manny4life:We will welcome that LOL!!! |
@ Manny I was laughing at ur calculations cause, well, let me just say , it was funny LOL!!! Lets take Lagos-Enugu axis for example, a round trip will cost U about 20,000 naira and thats economy class. Compare that to a round trip using one of those luxurious buses, 5,000 naira will do the trick and thats u traveling first class If u are road savvy and dont mind discomfort, U can do the trip for half of that. That difference alone have shot ur over head cost up by 25 percent. Factor in the cost of transporting the goods and U will end up selling the goods to ghosts when U get back to ur destination. U see why I didnt want to go into all this cos now I am sounding as if I am anti-airport. If they (FG or state govt) really want to help let them focus on the already existing roads instead of making bogus promises that we know will never see the light of the day. Another avenue for some pot-bellied politician to make money. |
onye_ngbu:Thats actually what I am worried about. ![]() |
manny4life:LOL!!! Anyways, I wont go arguing with you before it seems that I am against the airport being built. But I must say this, ur calculations made my day. LOL!!!! ![]() Bottom line is Airport or no Airport, we need good roads. Lets crawl first before we start thinking about running a marathon. I am really cracking up about ur calculations!!!!! ![]() |
manny4life:There are certain goods that U wont even think about using Airplanes to transport. Also, paying extra money to transport ur goods will not be helpful if it wipes out all ur profit at the end. Even at present, the traders have the option of using the modern luxurious buses to transport their goods and that should arrive relatively earlier than using the 911 trucks but once again, it is expensive and they opt for the trucks. Now u are suggesting they use airplanes LOL ![]() I am not in anyway against an airport, there are people who can afford it and it will be helpful, but they really should do something about those roads that actually accounts for 100 percent of the traffic as we speak. |
Ben-10:Building of airports is always a welcome development. However, the above statement struck a chord in me. Saying that the roads are bad is an understatement. Its a nightmare traveling from Lagos to Onitsha (or vice versa) these days. The volume of goods that traverse the Onitsha-Lagos axis is mind boggling , and U can build all the airports you want, the bulk of those goods will still be transported via land. Nowadays, a truck filled with goods from lagos takes about 2 to 3 days to get to Onitsha and thats if u are lucky. Its ok to think about building an airport, but I hope that they are also sparing a thought for the conditions of the road which in my own opinion should be more of a priority now. Unless if all this hoopla about building an airport is a political ruse for the up coming elections ![]() |
LOL @ 24 volts!!!!! Truth is that the genuine business men (under normal circumstances) do not reveal their blue print to anybody. |

Fhemmmy:U talk like say the thin dey easy, There are jobs like that but it is far and in between, moreover, may God help U if U rely on the pay packet from those kind of jobs to help u get thru school. Once the employers get a whiff that U are still in school, they will rob u blind. Thier justification: U are still a school boy and u dont need much money I went thru that sort of nonsense.Sometimes ur posts strike me as someone who was not born in Nigeria U tend to take things for granted |
Na wa ooooo, I no even fit talk ![]() |
Fhemmmy:lol!!! Thats true. Thats because U can easily have a job here and still go to school. Most jobs here will even work around your school schedule. Who go do that one for U for Naija? I think thats a cheap shot lol |
Fhemmmy:I am having a hard time understanding what U meant by that? Most Nigerians I know living in Nigeria are self dependent, they know better than to rely on the govt to do shit for them. Fhemmmy:U have a point there, However, we also have evidence of diasporan(s) who came back to Nigeria, got into positions of power and became as corrupt and power drunk as any average Nigerian politician. Pointing of fingers to one particular group will not help us one bit, we are all in this collective mess together (Diasporans and local). |
hbrednic:Hmmmm, interesting lol These are the kind of posts that gives the "I am better than you" attitude that Tosh was talking about. Truth is that the diasporans have done no better when given the opportunity. Nigerians will always be Nigerian, diasporan or local. |
kola oloye:Seriously!!!! I am tired of hearing the prediction of an outcome of a match two days after I have seen the match, ![]() |
Saying that PDP is the sole cause of our problems is like saying that politicians of other political parties are not corrupt and we know that is far from the truth. Give the other parties the same control that PDP has, we will still be singing the same tune. We have a tendency to glamorise, promote and sustain corruption and this is not limited to the Government, we as a people have to take some of the blame too. The problem of Nigeria starts and ends with Nigerians. |
chidyke77:I thot it has always been a two legged final 2 : 1 scoreline is kind of a slippery slope in this kind of set up, but I hope the boys come out triumphant |
Johnnny:Yeah, I also find his timing to be a little odd and that alone portrays him as being kind of vindictive. However, the big question remains, is his utterances true? And if it is , then we havent learnt anything at all as a footballing nation. Using over aged players to excel in youth tournaments has not helped us in the global picture of football. harmeenut:Stop saying that,,,,,,,are the Burkinababes not from the African continent? I saw their final group match, they almost played the Costa Ricans off the stadium. The C. Ricans could barely keep up. Go see those Burkina players and tell me if those guys dont look like your average 16 yr old. They even have the youngest player of the tournament in their fold. He was said to be barely 15 and when I saw him, I didnt doubt it one bit. He even scored!!!! ![]() Sagamite also suggests that one should see the Gambian team, so it is not as if Africans can't be honest with their ages, abeg |
So I thot these guys were put thru the unpopular MRI wrist scans? But to be honest, I was watching Burkina Faso play Costa Rica , and u dont need a crystal ball to tell that those Burkina Faso players were all U-17, I tried not to compare them with the Nigerian players ![]() |
U can actually find ur life partner anywhere, One thing you shouldnt do tho is to actively seek for a life partner ANYWHERE, not to talk of NL. |
Kc0022000:Yeah, hindsight is a very important component of his crystal ball |

I went thru that sort of nonsense.
