I live in Washington DC, not Germany, My job doesnt give me much time to attend Naija functions, I work with an International firm and all my colleagues are of Non african descents.

U have to make time abeg. Do U work from Monday to Sunday non-stop?   If so U are not even ready for marriage  

So does that mean U dont even have time to go to church? I strongly suggest U do that (lol). Most gals do that nowadays and it has nothing to do with their spirituality  

And once in a while, try and find if there is any Nigerian gathering. Attend that. Tho one can be easily discouraged as Nigerians will always be Nigerians anywhere (loud, brash, boastful and sometimes , fight go even burst out  ). But hey, U are looking for something. So dont stop until what U are looking for finds U.

U live in Germany (I presume) and U are insisting in marrying a CORRECT NAIJA dude. U dont need a soothsayer to tell u that it will take some patience and prayers. Opening up ur possibilities means trying to look past the "I have to marry a Naija dude" mantra.

On a different note, do U attend any Naija functions? Churches ,especially the evangelical ones? That might help

The problem is that U have restricted urself. If U have to marry a Naija man and U are overseas, then be ready to exercise some patience. Or an alternative (which I actually favor), open up ur possibilities. U cant live among midgets and insist on NOT marrying a dwarf.

Nigeria has allowed an innocuous situation to turn into an opportunity to make money by crooks now parading as ambassadors of justice. This latest stunt by the
MEND guys is just an avenue to make quick cash for the Xmas season.

MEND believes that it has got Nigeria exactly where it wants her and they are just gonna keep on milking the country for what it is worth. Nowadays I see MEND in the same light I see the kidnappers marauding the eastern part of the country. Everybody is taking advantage of a completely hopeless nation to stack up some quick cash. The politicians started it and now it has chain-reactioned down to the masses.

I have a feeling that even if the constitution is re-written and resource control legislation revised, we still gonna be stuck with this militancy problem. It is now deeply entrenched into the fabrics of society as youths now see it as a source of making some fast cash. Far less riskier than armed robbery, u would say.
