Reasonable nairalanders, can you remember how many times state governors of Katsina & zamfara have dialogued with the bandits in the past & giving them huge sums of money to stop the killings, but they used the money instead to buy sophisticated weapons. Katsina & zamfara states have vowed never to negotiate with bandits anymore. Sahara reporters in 2020 reported it that Buhari through sheik Gumi gave bandits one billion naira as compensation to stop the killings, but have they stopped? Gov El- Rufai admitted before Nigerians that he paid herdsmen to stop killings, did they stop? What is his stance now about dialoguing with the bandits? Do you know the effort Buhari's govt has made to pacify those blood thirsty bastards & still no way? If you want to join either the Navy, Army or Airforce, their are two cadres. One is the "other rank" cadre which is popularly known as the recruit. The other is the higher cadre, better known as the officer's cadre, meant for professional graduates only. Both graduates & ssce holders can apply for the recruit cadre. If a graduate apply for the lower cadre, in the army he/she is given no advantage; airforce little advantage depending on how relevant the course you studied in the university is to the airforce. Most times you may be promoted to the rank of Corporal upon joining the airforce, which ordinarily would have taken you ten years to attain. Same with the Navy. But as a graduate, I'll advice you to apply for the officer's cadre. However, what you studied must be relevant to the arm of the military you want to join. Although they always specify the skills needed in their various application forms

But today the good lord is blessing others through us. The whole story started from that room

Oga, Lt commander & Major's salaries are not 230 & 250,000 monthly as you claimed. Please make your findings well before informing the public. The 2 ranks are the same, only that one is Navy, while the other is Army. Their salaries are much higher

I have a different opinion about this issue. Does your brother's fiance know his financial strength & still insist on elaborate wedding ceremony? You know some men live a fake life, boasting about what they don't have, making ladies believe they're rich, whereas they're not. I see nothing wrong in making the ceremony big, if I can afford it & still be comfortable. Honestly I don't think there was true love in that relationship. I think most nairalanders should just grow up. The woman in question is the first lady of Nigeria. What is 1.5 m naira to her. She came from a very wealthy family, she has children who are doing well, she is a business woman.
