PoliticsOsun Exposes APC Rigging Template For 2019 Election-secondus by UcheSecondus(op): 7:19pm On Sep 27, 2018
.....APC, INEC and Police in a fraudulent Union.

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, Prince. UChe Secondus has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and the security agencies have revealed their rigging template ahead of 2019 general election.

Prince Secondus who was reacting to the roles of the three bodies in the Thursday's rerun election in Osun state said that what is unfolding is totally unacceptable to the PDP and all lovers of democracy.

The National Chairman said through his media office in Abuja that reports reaching the party from Osun state shows that APC, INEC and security agencies merely came out to implement what they deviously rehearsed and called it election.

He said that the picture of what is to come in 2019 is now clear and they underscore the fact already being highlighted by the the party that APC is not ready for the election.

"Because they cannot face the nation, having failed woefully in governance and having exhausted their propaganda and lies, they resorted to dubious and mischievous strategies that could give them undeserved victory as is the case in Osun and Ekiti states.

" Democratic community all over the globe are watching and we would stop at nothing in highlighting them until the will of the people are allowed to prevail.

The PDP leader warned in particular security agencies to bear in mind that their allegiance and oath of office is to Nigeria state and her citizens not to any individual or ruling party.

He drew the attention of leaders of both INEC and security agencies to the fact that history has never been kind with anybody or group who wittingly or unwittingly thwart the will of the people.

Prince Secondus said that PDP will not relent until it's stolen mandates in Ekiti and Osun states are retrieved from the undeserving holders.

PoliticsOsun Election: Declare PDP Winner Now, Secondus Cries Blue Murder by UcheSecondus(op): 5:07pm On Sep 23, 2018
......says Prof Yakubu brewing crisis

.......wonders what Buhari can tell UN on democracy
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to declare PDP winner in Osun's Saturday general election to avert national crisis.

Prince Secondus said that the PDP will not accept anything less than its deserved victory because the party won the election clearly and unambiguously.

He said that after INEC robbed the party of victory in Ekiti state and said they should go to the tribunal, now in Osun state after the party won glaringly they have concocted another story of inconclusive just to pacify their pay masters.

The National Chairman said in a statement from his media office on Sunday signed by Ike Abonyi that the Chairman of INEC Prof, Yakubu Mahmood should be held responsible for brewing crisis in the country ahead of 2019 in his greed to satisfy the agenda of his appointees.

Prince Secondus warned that if what they did in Ekiti and Osun states elections are rehearsals of what they are planning for 2019, there may be no Nigeria and INEC and APC should be held responsible.

He also drew the attention of the nation's security apparatchik to the possible threat to peace and oneness of this country by the brazing rigging of elections by a supposedly independent electoral umpire.

The PDP boss wondered what President Muhammadu Buhari who left the country to US for united Nation's general assembly today would be telling democratic community when he cannot conduct simple state governorship election.

"What other evidence do the democratic watchers and security agencies need to establish obvious bias from INEC when the commission's administrative officer caught destroying result sheets in Ayedade local Government àrea where over a thousand votes belonging to PDP were removed confirmed acting on the instruction of his superior officer.

"What will President Buhari be telling democratic world at the UN when back home he has brutalized all agents of democracy and has been unable to conduct a simple state bye election.

Prince Secondus described as shameless INEC taking instructions from the APC and deciding to declare the result inconclusive when it is obvious to all watchers that the PDP candidate won the election. The National Chairman finally salutes the people of Osun state for their dexterity and vigilance that led to the arrest of the fraudulent INEC official as he called on the international community to watch closely and condemn the electoral commission for their lack of neutrality ahead of 2019 general election.

Politics2019 Under Threat, Secondus Declares To EU by UcheSecondus(op): 8:57pm On Sep 12, 2018
....says INEC not ready for free, credible election

.......wants harassment on Clark probed.

The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has declared that the 2019 general election is under serious threat because the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the federal Govern are not disposed to conduct free and fair poll.

Speaking when he received officials of the European Union who called at the party's Wadata House headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday led by Ambassador Ms Beatrice Markussion, deputy director of Africa Division, EUropean External Action services., Head of EU delegation Prince Secondus said that available intelligence to the party shows that the government and the electoral commission are all plotting to rig the election.

According to a statement from his media office signed by Ike Abonyi, the National Chairman said that the opposition party is is concerned that the level of preparation of the ruling government and the electoral commission is disappointing.

"Our major concern is that INEC and security agencies are working hand in hand to rig the election for the APC.

" What they did in EKiti state in July and they are still preparing to repeat it in Osun on September 22, is enough evidence that they are not ready to conduct free, fair and credible elections

"The Chairman of INEC Prof Mahmud Yakaubu should go beyond verbal promises and put into action credible and practical processes for election.

Prince Secondus said that the APC is not preparing for election because they know they have nothing to offer the electorates having so divided the country and dragged the economy almost to a comatose state..

"This government has divided the country, borrowed over N11 trillion yet hunger is revaging our people as the economy slides.

"Records shows that more Nigerians have been killed in the last three years than during the civil war yet the government remains insensitive to the situation.

The National Chairman said that the government's disregard to the rule of law and human rights have so degenerated that a 90 year elderstatesman, former Minister of Information had his house raided last week by operatives of the state Police.

He said that even though the Inspector General of Police apologized, the state should go further to probe the shameful act since it's obvious that the officers did not send themselves.

The National Chairman explained to his visitors the internal democracy processes in place by the party to ensure free and fair process in line with the rebranding spirit of the party..

The EU leader commended the party for providing robust opposition which is necessary for democracy to strive. She noted that in few months away, the focus of the global community would be on Nigeria to see how it copes with her election processes.

She said that EU and indeed all lovers of democracy are interested in Nigeria elections. Other members of the delegation include Ambassador In Ketil Karsen, Head of EU delegation to Nigeria, deputy head Richard Young.

PoliticsPolice Raid In Clark's Home: Secondus Blasts Police, FG by UcheSecondus(op): 6:32pm On Sep 07, 2018
.....says IGP should take responsibility, as he would have taken credit if they succeeded.

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has fiercely criticized the Federal Government and the Police for the disgraceful way it raided the home of the elderstatesman and former Minister of Information, Chief Edwin K. Clark saying the action shows lack of respect of this regime for our elders.

Prince Secondus said that the shockingly unacceptable act shows the real character of this government and their attitude towards the nation's senior citizens who should be accorded due respect for their contributions to the growth and development of the country.

The National Chairman said in a statement from his media office signed by Ike Abonyi that the operatives acted in line with the body language of the administration.

According to him, the invasion of Clark's home has brought to the fore, the rascality of this government in abusing human rights with the IG as a major culprit forgetting that they would not be in power forever.

"History is recording all the atrocities of this government and time would come when every actor would be made to answer for their roles in one way or the other.

Prince Secondus noted that this is what you get when a President of a country is seen saying publicly that he would jail more people when he is not a court, the deduction to the operatives hearing that from a Commander- in-Chief is that everybody especially perceived enemies of the government are preys who should be dealt with at the slightest opportunity.

The PDP boss said that rather than make the operatives the escape goat, the Inspector General of Police should take responsibility as he would have jumped to take credit if they had found arms in Chief Clark's home.

" The IG is trying to play smart by sacrificing the operatives when he would have owned up the operation and taken the credit if they had succeeded in their illicit mission.

"What we are seeing is the image of an administration that has little or no regard for rule of law and human rights and operatives cash in on it at will.

The National Chairman said that further inquest should be made on the unfortunate incident to explain how they got the search warrant and who authorized the operation in the first place.

According to Prince Secondus, the embarrassment meted out to Chief Clark must have been designed because of his vocal stance in defence of his people of the Niger Delta region.

He then regretted that human rights abuses akin to what happened to Chief Clark go on under this administration on daily basis but are hardly reported but warned that no evil would ever go unpunished.

Politics2019: Corrupt People Plotting To Install Buhari, APC- Secondus by UcheSecondus(op): 7:07pm On Sep 03, 2018
PDP National Chairman release

2019: Corrupt people plotting to install Buhari, APC- Secondus

.......says vote buying and rigging is worst form of corruption

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has alerted the nation that corrupt persons are mobilizing and ganging up to use their illicit wealth to install President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, come 2019.

Prince Secondus said that the APC has made itself a safe heaven for corrupt persons and they are converging there not only to get relief but to help install them come 2019 for more protection.

The National Chairman who spoke at the PDP National campaign office at Legacy House, Maitama during the inauguration of the party's campaign council for Osun state Seteptmber 22, gubernatorial election said that the worst form of corruption is rigging of election and buying of votes which the APC is perpetuating in our polity.

According to a statement from his media office signed by Ike Abonyi, Prince Secondus warned that the PDP would not tolerate the charade that happened in Ekiti state in July to repeat itself in Osun state.

"Enough is enough, PDP will not tolerate Osun being rigged like Ekiti, we have a popular candidate and the performance of the APC ruling government has been awful with months of salaries owned to workers.

"We are aware that the electoral commission that is supposed to operate as an unbiased umpire in the conduct of elections has suddenly made itself a parastatal of the federal government, conniving with APC and security agencies to exchange results.

"Even security agencies whose allegiance should be to the constitution and people of Nigeria have allowed itself to behave as if they are operatives of the ruling APC.

"We decided to set up this high powered committee to demonstrate the importance we attach to this election, all our Presidential aspirants and some state governors are members plus all other critical stakeholders from South West and other parts of the country.

The National Chairman implored lovers of democracy globally to show more than passing interest in the Osun state election because the APC is not disposed to conducting free and fair election.

In his remark, the Chairman of the 85 member all powerful committee, the Senate President and a Presidential aspirant, Senator Bukola Saraki charged Buhari to stand on the commitment he made recently to two World leaders who visited the country that he would conduct a free, fair and credible election and use Osun as example.

Senator Saraki said that aside the popularity of the PDP candidate in Osun state the people are yearning for change to return their state to the PDP.

PoliticsAkpabio Walking Against The Tide And The Will Of His People-secondus by UcheSecondus(op): 6:44pm On Aug 08, 2018
......says he deserves pity

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has said that it's  unfortunate that Senate minority leader Senator Godswill Apkabio chose to walk against the tide to endanger his fine political career.

Prince Secondus said that he finds it very strange that anybody would go into a sinking ship at a time every other person is finding their way out of it.

A statement from the National Chairman's media office signed by the media adviser, Ike Abonyi said that whatever caused Akpabio's action must have been for self preservation and not borne out of any rational strategic political decision.

The National Chairman said that Senator Akpabio's decision does not enjoy the blessing of the people of Akwa Ibom whose mandate he enjoyed for eight years as state governor and nearly four years now as a senator.

" I cannot fathom any reason why on earth  Senator Akpabio should work against the tide, moving at opposite direction to a place every reasonable persons are escaping from.

"He deserves our pity because whatever would make somebody to chose bad for good is clearly one that he should be prayed for for salvation especially given the fact that wolves are waiting for his arrival to devour him.

"How on earth can anybody who has his eyes wide open be seen walking into danger knowingly.

Prince Secondus lashed out at the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for arm twisting and intimidating people into their drowning boat ostensibly to ruin and disintegrate the person involved.

He called on the people of Akwa Ibom to be wise and know when to turn their back from a leader directing them to danger.

" I urge you to remain focused and continue to give support to your hard working governor His Excellency Emmanuel Udom as he remains unrelenting in the delivering of democracy to the people.

The National Chairman said that Nigerians have long turned their back on the APC after it became manifest that it has nothing good to offer.

He said that the mission to save our democracy and rescue our country is already on track and no amount of coercion and threat will change what God has already endorsed.

Finally, Prince Secondus declared that the PDP rescue train has since left the station and picking democrats along for the 2019 final destination as he urged remaining democrats still in APC to make haste and join the winning team in a rebranded and repositioned political platform.

NASS siege: Secondus asks Uk to expel Buhari

.......says President hiding in Europe to plan evil against democracy

....salutes the courage of the VP in sacking

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has reacted angrily to the reported early morning siege on Tuesday preventing staff and law makers from gaining entrance to the National Assembly saying that United Kingdom should expel President Muhammadu who is hiding in that country to plan the undermining of democracy in the country.

The National Chairman said that Britain should not allow its environment be turned into a haven for anti democracy conspirators.

Prince Secondus said in a statement from his media office signed by Media Adviser, Ike Abonyi that the President left the country to UK for 10 days medical leave to enable the nefarious activities they lined out against democracy be executed in his absence.

He said that the final plan for the invasion of National Assembly was concretized when the minority leader Senator Godswill Akpabio visited the President in London at the weekend.

According to Prince Secondus the siege in National Assembly leaves no one doubt that President Muhammadu Buhari and his ruling APC are out to destroy this hard earned democracy all because they can no longer fit into it.

Secondus also salutes the courage of the Vice President in sacking the Director General of the DSS, Lawan Daura to show that Nigeria cannot be hijacked and ruled by cabals.

The National Chairman said that democrats all over the World do not need any further evidence to show that President Buhari and APC have suspended democracy and are now running a draconian administration.

"When an executive arm in a democratic setting muscles up other arms of government, the correct name for such administration is autocracy and dictatorship.

"Nigerians and international community have continuously watched this administration, harass and intimidate the legislature and Judiciary as well as others in opposition in their bid to create a dictatorial regime.

"All over the World, the parliament is the bastion of democracy and rule of law anybody not willing to alien himself to them is trying to create anarchy in the land.

Prince Secondus said that the actions of the security agencies this morning clearly shows a drowning man who is totally alienated from happenings around his environment and suddenly wants to survive when the ship is already wrecked.

The National Chairman then called on President Buhari to resign and pave way for the sustenance of democracy since it is now obvious that he has lost legitimacy to continue as an elected President.

Prince Secondus said that no amount of intimidation and harassment will deter lovers of democracy from pushing for the extinction of this wicked regime.

He noted that Nigerians passed through this route before in their struggle to restore democracy in this country and the will of the people and that of the almighty prevailed and this time cannot be an exception.

"We are aware that when a regime exhausts idea of what to do and loses the legitimacy that brought it to power, it could be dangerous like a bull in China shop but truth is that Nigeria will survive this regime and laugh last.

Finally, the PDP boss calls on the global democratic community to rein in President Buhari to allow other arms of government to operate and allow democracy and rule of law to prevail.

"APC has shown clearly through their actions and inactions since 2015, that it's an Organization that is averse to democratic ethos and therefore cannot accommodate lovers of true democracy, rule of law and civil liberty.

Secondus  noted that the fact that the defectors are spread all over the country irrespective of tribe and religion shows that APC has failed woefully even in its attempt to clandestinely whip up geo-political and religious sentiments.

He noted that the political realignments across the country and the enthusiasm shown by Nigerians in the happenings in our polity should be a signal to the ruling APC that the time is up as the journey to save our democracy has long begun.

"I urge all good democrats and patriots still in APC to make haste to jump out from an obvious sinking ship.

The National Chairman finally assured those rejoining the PDP as well as other new comers that the party has been rebranded and repositioned to regain power and deepen our democracy.
