I had 650 in my account then and the minimum balance was 500. As I can't use atm, I walked in to the bank and wrote 150 naira on withdrawal slip and even had to stand for around 45 mins.
The look the cashier gave me ehn, but she didn't debit my account and she just gave me 500 naira.
Times too I'd borrow money to 'top up' my account so I can withdraw and return what I borrowed..

Another time my friend and I were looking for an atm that dispenses 500 for over 3 hours to remove my last card to cook concoction..

Why not explain it here for others to gain from it? The information you got here motivated you to apply and now that you have gotten admission and not Visa, you then want to divert your chats to WhatsApp.

It seems you only contacted one language school whereas you should contact as many as possible preferably outside the Kanto and Kansai regions so that your living expenses would be low. I don't know anything about English teaching, but as a Nigerian, you would be competing with Americans, Brits and generally Europeans - whom as white people, they are preferred. However, that does not mean they don't accept blacks. But you should know what you are competing against and who your competitors are. Check Chilo Talks on YouTube, she interviewed a Nigerian woman who came in as an ALT. That language school did not want you, or she has a minimum Japanese level for prospective students. Alternatively, you apply as a graduate student. However, if your aim isn't really schooling, the above are your surest means of coming to Japan.

If you really want to come here, you have to really research and chart your course. I recall emailing Gaijin Pot about graduate school and was told they don't cater to Africans. Did that stop me? No.

God's blessings brother, although I contacted a lot of schools and only 1 replied and their answer was that as long as I graduated for over 5 years now, I will need to explain the sudden interest of Japanese language or probably take an exam.
Now I am trying to project my wife for ALT job and like 3 recruiting agencies has shown interest because of her documents.
She is a certified teacher with TRCN, Second class upper graduate of education from UNN and 2 years working experience in a Federal government girls college.
Please if you know any guildline that will be helpful to us, I wont mind sir.

To be honest, the possible means have been mentioned from the initial pages. The surest is via school, even if it is language school. Another is English teaching. Other option is work visa. Note that in all cases, the company/school applies for your visa on your behalf. It is your duty to search for what you want and then apply. Trust me, the process is straightforward.

Nice one brother, do you know anything about English teaching (ALT)? do you know if they accepts Nigerians? or how will I go about work Visa? the language school people said that I will need to write Japanese exam with N5 score before i will be admitted intolanguage school

But some of your questions are not making sense, how can you exchange money below CBN rate, it will even be hard for you as an individual to exchange money with CBN rate, but you can with bank rate which is a bit higher, only if you apply for PTA/BTA, Form M, Form A, Medical expenses outside the country or living expenses as an international student elsewhere.
Apart from above mentioned, I doubt if you go see CBN rate elsewhere...

Oh, sorry about your experience.

Mine was a bit different. I mentioned on my CAS request that I had previous UK visa refusal sometimes in 2013 but could not provide a copy of my refusal letter since it was lost. Based on that, my CAS application was rejected and admission withdrawn. So, I requested that my deposit be refunded immediately.

I wrote several emails to both admission team and finance about refund status, no one responded for once. Thanks to goodness, after three weeks, flywire sent me an email that my refund was in process, and boom, my 3k dropped within 3 days. Unbelievable, just 2 days ago, admission team sent me an email that my refund was in process when I had received my fund for over 3 weeks now. It clearly shows the university has no integrated system in place even for their team to get information. Also, their finance team is extremely useless. They won't ever respond to your emails.

My advice is just have faith. When it comes to refund request, no one has your time again.
