It could,try it out.

The SIO controls how the battery is being charged, there's a bios inside the SIO(KBC) on some motherboard it has a separate chip outside,if it is corrupt it can affect charging.

So try it and see.

Gotten it to work
similar thing but used a bootable flash with the bios recovery on it and held down END key to get into BIOS recovery

Cool,it wasn't completely dead,.some will make it not power on at all.

Always plugin your charger when updating even if battery is 100% full.

Building a new bios file from manufacturers website and flashing it to the BIOS chip on the board.

If you're and a new laptop with corei5 processor for that price,consider getting a US/UK used laptop.

The importance of checking CLR communication with charging IC.

I have a plugin charging but percentage not increasing case , the client said he already use another new battery but it still didn't increase.

After taking out the mobo, I check for short on VIN section and it was fine, discharging MOSFET was also fine too.

Unfortunately CLR communication was bad, pin 2 of charging IC was not communicating, trace back and notice a damage track,I try to build the track but it was too tiny and I don't have a trinocular.

I run a jumper on the line and check for continuity and communication was fine,after that mobo works fine.

Like I've always said, nobody should believe this nonsense.

Someone from their propaganda group will post one nonsense on social media then after a week or so one 1diot from will come out to do fact check.

I just bought a used laptop recently ( Lenovo E31-70), figured out the speaker is speaking very low ( you wont know until you put your ear close to the speaker) and cracks too.

Now i went back to the seller and he said they "drived" it and it worked for a while and now just after 3 days it is has gone back to the former self after working for sometime.

Is this a speaker issue or what? i need help please. I have a video interview to do and the system doesnt pick my voice when i was testing it.
