Pls I am having issues with my system, anytime I power it on let’s say 10 to 15 minutes after that the button “Z” will start pressing it self randomly even when it’s on locked tho I started installing some programming softwares. bro you can not remove a drive from a Dell system and put in Hp and expect it to boot up like its old system. Reason is that both of them has different bios setup and different power on self test ( post )

Let him use an external hard drive case and copy out his files shikina

Fault: Dead.

This is a typical fault of this laptop, especially on the elite book models.
Mobo is completely dead but when CMOS battery is removed and charger is connected it will power on and shutdown, when power button is triggered,it won't power on until you remove the charger and connect it back.

I've posted a lot of similar cases here,just remove and replace with 1k ohms resistor and mobo is back to life.

Power button voltage drops to 1.9v which is not enough to trigger the switch.
