But any convention whose aims is just for merry making, spouse pursult, biz contacts and not about articulating the wayforward in an unfriendly environment has ''LOST IT'' |
ROFLMAOOOO @ Abadaba and Chineyen Anywayz I missed the Chicago one. Mad I did. Had a lil problem making it there next year I go plan am well. |
Are u coming to HOUSTON this year? |
Beautiful!!!! ![]() |
^^^Peace loving? With yearly ethnic religious riots? |
So these retards still haven't given up? Bluetooth, Ojukwu should live long enough to piss on ur grave. |
Babapooper, We have zero sense of history? What a moronic slowpoke? If we have no sense of history we would falling head over hills over Zik but because we have studied his history and seen how his actions affected the East negatively hence we are non-challant about anything concerning him. You are moronic hypocrite because if an Awolowo vs Zik thread is created right now we all know you will side with Awolowo and not even play neutral since according to you he is A HERO. You will immediately go from scolding the Igbo for not honoring him to castigating them for even defending him. You will have no issue calling him all kinds of unprintable names so please who do you think you are fooling now? Please make up ur mind you brainless pig. Why dont you head to Onitsha and beautify his grave, go to the middle of Ajegunle and errect a structure in honor of him? If you cant do then STFU coz Zik belongs to all Nigerians and that includes you. If the nation can't honor him for his work then shame on you not the Biafrans who he worked against. We won't honor men like Zik, Elechi Amadi, Ukpabi Asika, Adaka Boro, etc and that is our business not yours or any jobless tout west of Ore or north of Benue. The funny thing is that the North who he worked so hard and kissed their asses the most aint even worried about his existence. He did his job like a slave boy, he got his ceremonial Presidency, case closed but look at you sons and daughters of bitchez hyperventilating over a man that you still love to hate. The truth is that many of us in the East are no longer willing to get into any ethnic mudslinging in the name of defending a man who practically left us hanging when we needed him the most all in the name of "HE IS iGBO". Sorry but unlike your people we are far too intelligent and judge ur actions by merit not by mere knowledge of your ethnic heritage. Obong Efiong is far more respected in Ala Igbo than Zik because WE KNOW OUR HISTORY AND HISTORY SHOWS THAT HE DID WELL AND SACRIFICED A LOT FOR Biafra and the Igbo. Ojukwu is far more important than Zik and when he passes you will see how we treat our real heroes. Odeshi! |
Its funny how morons like Bluetooth, Sjeezy, Seant, babapooper, have used this as usual as an opportunity to attack the Igbo when issue has nothing to do with us. So because Zik is Igbo we must all line up to clean up his damn grave? Can u imagine how stupid you guy are? Is he childless? The man has many kids and grand kids to do that for him and if they don't feel the need to do so what concerns your average who has better issues than to worry about the burial site of liability? Zik is nothing to us. If his own Onitsha don't give a hoot why should we? Zik is a national hero hence the upkeep of his burial site is the responsibility of the Nigerian govt which he showed greater loyalty at the detriment of his region. If as usual the Nigerian govt have decided to forget about him like always do after they've used and dumped Easterners who work for them then that's his reward. No real Eastern hero will be treated like that after his death because trust me our people will not it happen. Like Eziachi said if you nincompoops feel so strongly about honoring the burial site of your hero Zik then march to Onitsha town and do something instead of boring us with ur constant reminder of how u are honoring Awolowo like as if we give a hoot or don't have enough heroes of own and our choice to honor. What is stopping u patriotic Nigerians from showing ur love for Zik by beautifying his burial site? Why must it be the Igbo who must do it yet you want to prove that u guys are not a bunch of tribal bigots? Zik enjoys no real support in Igbo land, Efik and the whole of Eastern region because he was never an Eastern leader. I will rather worry about Effiong, Bassey, Ojukwu, Madiebo, Ibiam, Okpara, Opigo, than Zik. You have no right to tell us who we should honor and since Zik belongs to Nigeria let Nigeria do the right thing and honor him. Shameless people. Is this how you treat ur hero? This man abandoned his own people to support a war against them and yet you can't even pay him enough respect? Instead of bowing ur heads down in shame you shift the blame on Igbos and Easterners who it doesn't concern. Its like British scolding Americans for not honoring Queen Elizabeth. You all need to stop being hypocrites or better go see ur shrinks. |
Elchux, U can always end ur misery by drinking a full glass of rat poison or better packing ur car in a garage and letting it run while u slowly sleep forever. Ewu awusa! |
Lol @ Aloy GOD!!!!!!! |
ROTFLMAO Ohsisi and Beaf ibeg I take Amadioha dey beg una to free Tilapia. Cheiiii lol I never laugh hard like this. Tilapia actually took her time to dig up old that have nothing to do with the current topic. This obsession with Ohsisi na one of a kind. Ohsisi I beg I go pray tonight. Make dis winsh no fly come ur way. Be like say she get her fangs and claws set for u and FL-ileke. Lol |
LMAO @ true winsh. Lol winsh na understatement. |
ROFLMAO!!!! Beaf u go wound Tilapia oooo. I've seen Ogbete main market women argue their points better than that character. She is only attacking Ileke-idi coz she sees that though Ileke might disagree with us she is still intelligent enought to reason and listen to the other side. Its called dialogue. Something Nigerians like her are not familiar with. I pity her too. |
Beaf, Well u see this is what happens when u have a govt built on tribal hatred. They won't want to harness anything connected to Biafra because it then proves to them that certainly Biafra would have been a better nation, and still is better alternative to the current state of Nigeria. That is the mentality killing Africa and Nigeria. Refusal to even accept the truth when its so glaring. |
Ileke-idi, the things I mentioned are in history books, internet libraries, , etc. Just like Onlytruth pointed anything connected to Biafra was greatly avoided even at Nigeria's detriment. Many of these scientists fled the country to Europe and contribute to their host nations. Many also committed suicide after the war coz they felt useless after all they achieved and the Nigerian govt in their bid to prove us wrong refused to absorb these intelligent men and women into the system for the betterment of Nigeria. Some of these people also refused to ever work for a government that orchestrated one of the worst genocides against them in Africa. My mom refused to step foot on any Northern soil except middlebelt state of Benue and when she finally stepped foot on the closest hausa northern soil it was Abuja on her way from US more than 45 years after the war. When she was about to deliver me the doctors tried to convince her to have me on the 1st of October so she could collect money from the Nigerian govt for having a baby on independence day and she vehemently refused and made sure it did not happen. There are many Easterners who purposely have done that as a sign of protest. People think that by being insensitive, insolent and not appreciating our history they can cow us down or make us forget in our bid to belong but they achieve the opposite. The farther they go the more hardened we get. My brother who was born 5 years after the war as a kid used to write to Nigerian newspapers condemning their treatment of Biafrans and asking questions. I never even knew he had such strong view as a child regarding our people until my early twenties when my mom started talking about it openly. Truth is that the current struggle for Biafra be it violent or peaceful won't be subdued easily. No nation survives a second civil war so the sooner Nigerians started to appreciate that history, address it, include it in our academia the better for them. We were never taught about Biafra in school but we took out time to research and ask questions. What does that say to you? |
Ileke-idi, Thanx. Well during the war Biafra lost its only oil refinery to Nigerian troops when PH fell so in order to still power vehicles they started transforming palm oil extracted from kernels to fuel. The issue of using corn, palm oil kernels, etc which Americans have been debating about had already been tested by Biafra 47 yrs ago and it worked. Biafra didn't have easy access and supply of weapons like Nigeria but they managed to make their own like the Ogbunigwe bomb which claimed the lives thousands of Nigerian soldiers. The bomb was so deadly when it detonated it sent nails, and other sharp objects everywhere hence even if u were directly hit u still got killed or seriously injured by the flying objects which the bomb was filled with. Biafra scientists re-designed tractors, lorry into fighter tanks, small planes were re-designed into fighter jets. This turned Udi airport into one of the busiest airport that period. Guns and weapons were made from the scratch or from other objects. One of scientists who built the bomb was my mom's friend and college mate. He died when the bomb exploded by accident on him. My father was among the Geo-physicist who were able to turn palm kernel oil into motor fuel. He escaped death when the PH refinery was bombed and watched in horror as one of his colleagues was doused in burning fuel when the bomb struck. The mail system was still working even under serious bombardment compared Nigeria where it might take you months even up to a year to receive simple mail coz something happened to it while in transit or the package got tampered. Biafra built bunkers that they used as radio stations to transmit messages. Whatever the Nigerian govt was able to deny them they found an alternative. The main thing they lacked was proper agricultural system and factories, infrastructures to help em manufacture food to feed the population but even my mom resorted to making wheat bread which she sold and fed my sister mostly adult food coz she couldn't breast-feed the baby on empty stomach or poor diet. My sister was so lucky she adjusted well into eating adult food and grew fat unlike many babies born during the war. |
Amaka, u are not coming? Ugh!!! I am shattered. *picks up his broken heart* |
Amaka, come to Houston for UIU next weekend and I'll put a ring on it. Lol |
Lol Amaka no mind am. He disagrees but like a true Nigerian instead of challenging the points made with some level of intelligence he digresses into a whole new topic. So now he is going from the the issue at hand to length and lack of paragraphs. Mental weakness is not a good thing. Thank you my sista. |

If I cared I would have made 1. |
People on here can be quite ridiculous. My belief in Biafra and the right of self-determination has little to do with what mama and dada told me or uncles. My belief in the right of my people as Africans to determine their own fate not wait on Europeans started when I was as young as 16. I've always been passionate about politics and addressing issues of injustice. This is typical characteristic of a very liberal person. I believe in living and let live hence if any section of Africa or Nigeria views itself as capable of being able to govern itself based on its style, principle of government then they should be given that right. I am only Nigerian because the British carved out my region like a piece of cake and could have been Cameroun sef if they handed my region to France. Africans lack a true sense of self respect coz if they don't I think majority will be disgusted at the thought being told to be A,B,C or D by other races. I love history and research hence there is no way I wouldn't have focused on history of Biafra and Africa. At that very young age I knew so much that I challenged much much older Nigerians about it face to face and on the internet and till today not 1 of em knows they were having very intellectual debate and discussion with a highschool kid. Looking at events before, during and after the civil war I have come to conclusion that Biafra remains a just cause worth pursuing. Southern Sudan have suffered for years and still haven't wavered in their belief to free themselves from the shackles of an oppressive Arabized govt created by the Europeans. You don't need have experienced the Biafra, Rwanda, South Sudan genocide and injustices to believe in or not believe in the movement and ideology. Americans and the govt didn't experience the holocaust yet they are the staunchest supporters of survival of the Jewish state. I'm in support of the state of Israel just for the simple fact they deserve to live and judging by history they have been through a lot. Nigerians and their mentality are the reasons why the calls for Biafra keeps growing not just among the Easterners born during war but by the ones who were born before and outside Biafra. Have u ever wondered why children whose parents never even told em about have very strong opinion about it? Truth is that Nigeria with the help of super-power nations may have won the war of weapons but they lost winning the hearts of Biafra. Biafra never die. Nigerian govt destroyed any chance of truly reconciling with the East and Nigerians by their actions keep re-enforcing the belief that Biafra is the better option. Our people tasted that freedom for good 3 years and its hard to turn that switch off. Biafra functioned as a better state even while under attack, blockader, bombardment, while Nigeria with all the support is still a failed state. What Biafrans achieved be it in technology in the 6 months to 3 yrs is what Nigeria can't even dream of achieving in the past 50 years of existence. Comparing Biafra to Nazi Germany is highly insulting and ignorant because both are opposite. Biafra, South Sudan simply want to be left alone to determine their future without further oppression while Germany was waging wars against its neighbors to take over Europe. Biafra will not be paradise on earth but the worst of Biafra is better than the best of Nigeria. Biafra nation will consist of people with common / similar ancestory. Our laws and ways of governance will structured based on native cultures that are compatible with modern day era. Ex. Idoma, Igala, Igbo, etc share the same market days which are 4 days in a week, 13 months in a year, etc. We already have a democratic system hence under our own pure African indigenous government we will set things up based on our own way not European way. I like how the Chinese and many Asian nation stick to their own way of life and governance. Only Africans are still dying trying to preserve what their European masters set up at their own detriment. Damn shame. |
Ruq, u are full shiit. If Cameroun comes for Enugu, Rivers, Akwaibom, Anambra, hhhmmm what will I do? Whose side will I lean on? I will rather play em like Ethiopia played Italians and Europeans. Have em slug it out and then clear out the last tired remaining force. |
Not only does Nigeria have these issues down south we are forgetting that Nigerians lack the unity up north. While fighting an invading force the populace christian and muslims will still be killing eachother. How can u wage a war against another force when within ur territory u are waging countless wars against each other? Hhhmmmm |
Take away up to 50 million Easterners and Nigeria will have just about 70 million ppl to fight their war. I doubt if the Tiv, Idoma and Igala will even want to lift a hand so that's another 10 million gone. Yoruba and Hausa, Fulani Nigerians will clearly be on their own. This war if it ever happens will be quite complicated. Nigeria fighting to keep Biafra territories away from Cameroun. This might be an opportunity for the agitators of Biafra to frustrate Nigeria's effort. On the other hand Southwest Cameroun might also use this as opportunity to frustrate Cameroun in hopes of getting full independence. I see a future alliance or unification of Biafra and Southern Cameroun while Nigeria and Cameroun slug it out for their territories. Whoever wins will then have bigger problem to deal with and that is trying to subdue a region that wants nothing to do with it. Igbos, Efiksn Ijaw, Ogoni should not offer any help or their expertise. Let em fight for this 1. If Nigeria can't even defeat MEND, took em 3 yrs with help from UK, Russia, Egpyt to subdue Biafra agitation I don't see them winning a war against a standing army from another nation. Nigeria lacks support from the local population of East hence how can it win against another invading force when its house is not in order? |
Rhymz, true that but at the same time if threatened physically expect the Jews to organize militant groups ready to silently go after whoever is responsible and take em out one by one. Ezeuche, true. Damn shame. |
If Igbos are so numerous then they need stop letting anyone victimize them. You have the population. Deal with any slowpoke that comes your even if u are not native to the place. |
Beaf, u trippin. Why would ND militants fight on the side of an army that has no problem wiping their communities out n a split second? An army General had no issue calling on the army to wipe 20 ppl from the East n Delta out for oil yet u are here proposing that we go and fight on their behalf? Since ur blood is boiling like hot water what stopped u and ur militants and Nigerian government from keeping Bakassi? Its silly how Nigerians are here screaming war but when they had the chance to show that they gave a hoot about the territorial integrity of Nigeria Bakassi was quickly handed over to Cameroon. Guy Nigerian govt does not give a hoot about u or anyone East of the Niger and South of Benue so don't expect them to bart an eyelid when Cameroun makes the big move. The only reason why they will even care is if there's enough oil in that area. Obudu is just a ranch they can start over somewhere else if they lose it. Why would I risk my life for a nation that have treated my region so much disdain and has remained unapologetic about it? I think the most patriotic I'll do is sit back sip gin and juice while the two beast slug it out. What's the difference between being under a British or French colony? They are all European failed experiments. I fully understand where EzeUche is coming from. |
