Amingafar, I will never move to the North without arming myself and ready to kill. Will I ever move to Bauchi? Hell no! Why would I want to live with animals unless I am just going there to slaughter any rat I see. I have no business going to the North but like I said I dare you a northerner to attack me anywhere be it North or Ijawland. You will meet your maker. My Awka people almost sent the whole Fulani population to their maker after one of em killed a masquerade. One thing I hate about you people is that you have no respect for people's culture and human lives. 7 Fulani people paid the ultimate price and if not for the intervention of police and leaders, Ndi Oka would have cleared the rest out of their settlements. We don't tolerate Fulani aggression in our own domain. |

never in my lifetime or my fathers or grandfathers have we worshipped anything but Allah "SWT". I dare one of you to attack me one day. Na that day you will see an Igbo man in action. I will butcher you and let the vultures feast on your meat. Did I ask you anything about your freaking Allah? Please And yes they worshipped them. They even laid clothe on the floor for them to walk on anytime they came to an event. |

Onlytruth: The innate inability to harm innocent people remains Igboman's weakest attribute. Virtually every other tribe in Nigeria can do that except the Igbo. Have you noticed that whenever a Hausaman is fighting with a non Hausa, if a second Hausaman is passing by, he joins the fight IMMEDIATELY on his brothers side without even asking any questions? If you want to understand the essence of this behavior more, go to the animals channel on cable TV and take a close look at how lions hunt.
They can kill ANY animal in the jungle. I've seen them take down elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giant snakes, just name any animal. Watch how they do it. In that hunt, there are no males or females; every member of the lion pack joins the fray without asking questions. That is what make them the most powerful beasts in the jungle.
Now, revert to Igbo. Good luck with convincing your friend (never mind a stranger ) to help you deal with a person (even if that person's tribe is the biggest anti Igbo tribe on earth ).
That is the only reason why I don't do the "Igbo enwe eze" thing. I simply don't because I don't see how it helps us to survive in the jungle that is Nigeria. In may have helped us in the olden days when we were protected by the jungle, but it cannot work today. Simple. We need to act together, without asking questions. If a lion sits out a hunt, do you think the rest of the pack will allow him to eat the game? HELL NO!
So, Ojukwu acted like a typical Igbo man at the time. "Oh these are innocent people, and they have nothing to do with the kiling of Igbos in the north". But, one would be like "duh" but Igbos being killed in the north are innocents!
So, you may have to adopt my philosophy of "fight first, ask questions later". I am with YOU 10000%. Aint no way I will let a Fulani man harm an Igbo whther the Igbo was right or wrong. |

Dede1: If what happened to Ndigbo in particular and easterners in general during 1966 pogrom is set upon your entire generation and the generation to come and you utter a cough may the cause be upon you and your entire lineage.
Ojukwu did not allow the Ndigbo to have free reign on the northerners in eastern region. If had allowed Ndigbo a second of revenge, the junkies such Musa Yar adua would not have lived to fight the war. Yet Gowon and Nigeria foisted a war of attrition on eastern Nigeria. This is where I get mad at Ojukwu and Easterners. If I were in his shoe I would have made it a sport and rewarded them everyone to slaughter them equally. Northerners are so blood thirsty and murderous they can't be treated with kid gloves. The same way they treat you is the same way you should treat them and even worse. |

Amingafar, If its not then by sheer hardwork please tell me how else were they able even after you Northern morons and Awolowo took all their money and gave them back only 20 pounds to have the FINANCIAL CAPITAL to buy up land in Abuja? Why should be given to you at all? Did you people get the land for free? Now I understand why you desert rats are forever LAZY and UNPRODUCTIVE. You like freebies and even when your Southern counterpart is able to get what he deserves by working for it instead of waiting for handouts you still have the nerve to come and tell them it was allocated to them therefor you should continue to leach and leech off of them.
Maybe you should have kept the land in question but as poverty stricken as u are I doubt if you could resist the money the Igbo / Southerners flashed at you. How could you? If I am one of those governers back home I will do the samething with the cattle business. Flash you lots of money, buy you out of business and make it against the law to sell cattle or livestock without state license, ban movement of cows and selling of meat in open markets without proper regulation and storage. People cutting meat in open space and draining blood everywhere is an eyesore and invitation for all kinds of diseases. I will tackle the spread of food poisoning, diseases and the eyesore. I will regulate the meat industry. Since your people are too illeterate to run that type of business you might as well apply for employment with any of the meat packaging, livestock business or head somewhere else to rare your cattle but my region or state will be a no-go-area. That way the money generated via that route stays in the state and doesn't get filtered elsewhere. If you want to dook it out with the more savvy Igbos then pay taxes just like they do and run your business. All I know is that I will not tolerate any form of free-loading by you people in my domain. |

T9ksy: Listen Guys, if we want to be honest with each other, the brits didn't create Nigeria to work. we are different people with different values, custom, history, language etc . How can we then be one nigeria? its like putting the french, the brits and the germans in one area and then say, let's have a united country.
Our founding fathers did not believe in one nigeria. they just knew it ain't gonna work. Look around africa and what do you see? From sudan to congo, From ethopia to Malawi. From Nigeria to Zimbabwe, its the same system of divide and rule in existence. Look at the hutus and the tutsi- they were one and same people until the belgians classifies them into 2 groups just to make it easier for them to rule over the people. Now, decades after gaining independence from the belgians, the people are still killing each other. when the hutus are in power, they massacre the tutsis and vice versa.
Look at us, 50 yrs after independence and we 're still at each other's throats. the igbos hates the yorubas and vice versa, ditto igbos and hausa ati bebelo. instead of wasting our emotional, natural and human resources trying to get one over the other group, why don't we revert back to how it was, before '66- federalism? let each region take care of its own development. that's is if we have to be One Nigeria.
This centralised form of govt. ain't working and it won't work, not in a million years of sunday. Now the igbos want a shot at the the presidency, come 2015 and rightly so. Afterall, they are Nigerians, ain't they? Herein lies our quandary. the nation was built on mediocrity hence we are not going anywhere, fast.
Are we really that dumb? Africa is blessed with loads of mineral and human resources. There is enough to go round, so why then are we killing each other whilst outsiders come in and take our resources away to cater for their own people? The same system they used to carry away millions of our forefathers into slavery is still being utilised, extantly. we are all blacks- the original inhabitants of this planet Earth. Enough of this "my tribe is better than yours". if we can't live together, let's go our seperate ways. Haba! afterall we 're not siamese twins. even they (albeit co-joined by nature) were seperated by nuture and went on to live seperate and fulfilling lives. GBAM |

amingafar: so what of the Nige deltans and igbos who invest in Abuja from allocated land giving to them by us?
people are being myopic Nigeria is very equal. Listen you blabbing cretin the foolish Igbos and their neighbors who invest in Abuja by buying land and property are getting it by sheer hardwork, by merit and pay for it. I have never heard that its simply allocated to them. Are they getting the land for free? NO. If its free maybe I'll go and get my own share. Abuja is a federal capital hence Northerners don't own shit over there except the native Gwari ppl. Your argument is stuppid coz while Igbos and Eastern minorities are investing foolishly in Abuja they are not causing any harm to the environment. They are contributing heavily to the growth of the capital. They are not kicking anyone out of their land. Instead they have the money and will purchase if you are selling. The 9 Oil producing states in The East / South are not experiencing the samething from the North. The only good thing you Northerners bring to the East na ur suya and cow but even that can be done without y'all only if our moronic Eastern governors will take time to invest heavily on livestock and agriculture, regulate the food and meat industry and send your malams back to Niger. |

If it were Jews, Christians or Hindus, no one will talking rubbish about violence. The fact is that they are cowards. Why not threaten to send warships to FL but instead they sent threats to innocent civilians. I had a field telling some Hausa bastards who were sending me nasty messages on FB about the issue. Mind I said nothing to attack the religion but simply condemned the fact that JEG and the government have not being able to put the violent elements of the religion in check.
