thebosstrevor: no Nigerian woman can never get this type of settlement in her lifetime because they dont build wealth with their men.... so wake up from your slumber.. how many of them can even support a man that wanna build a business like how jeff ex-wife did, their only contribution is nagging a man to death. most women that i have seen that supported their husbands to success and greatness and added her skills to the growth of the business has been white women, that is why they get nice packages when divorced.
i am a misogynist for disagreeing with you.if that is it let it be.. you need to grow up. coscharis wife supported him all the way That is one exception and there are others as well. but that one stands out and I had to mention it another example is a man who was a grocery owner when I was much younger decade's back the wife was actively building the stores, and they grew TOGETHRR until the man passed *teary eyes* so yes, there are still women who support men to build wealth, even tho its not the norm in Nigeria sha.... |

LordAdam: You mean the same way the partners also let the women determine the composition of their social circle, the interests that they can continue to fester, and all of little things they subtly do that turns out to be a training regime.
You really can't be serious. Unless you're trying to be clever by half. This is not even in the realm of anecdotes, it is a universal truth. Poll any random sample size of guys and majority would tell you "his is ours. hers is hers" is not a Hollywood machination.
And I'd be damned if I try to contest that with you. Your statement is the equivalent of saying women don't use sex as a bargaining chip in relationships. It only happens because "their partners allow and permit it." Yh right!
-Lord pls get my point The way A LOT OF WOMEN we're raised contributed to their mentality towards "their money" I once dated a German then (of Ukrainian origin sha, but she German) and the policy was "our money is our money" I made it clear from day 1 that this was my expectation of our relationship; and if she no want, there is no point we going to any level And that was it. in subsequent relationships after that; it was the same so it's a blend of the upbringing and mentality of the woman AND the tolerance of their partners towards the policy. that's my point as for women using sex as a bargaining chip; that's the truth in many many instances |

vioment: With all the so called graduates including me, we still have to be begging julius berger to build roads for us because we are just daft. How many years have julius berger been doing roads in nigeria with resources from west africa, with nigerian workers. Up until now, those workers did not learn anything tangible; we are now waiting for the new oyibo graduate managing director to come and build roads for us.
This country have decided to be a stark fool. You have said it all |

Urchman200: Dangote is not a businessman, u can't be a businessman without being in a competitive market, which does not, u run a monopoly market by the use of political influence, forgetting that the business will die when u passed because ur children might not have that political clout to control the monopoly market. A businessman is whose business continue to flourish irrespective of his presence. Examples are @realdonad trump ,cocacola company and other business like.this is for sesenble mind. Dangote DOES NOT RUN A MONOPOLY tell me ONE industry he operates in without AT LEAST FOUR competitors and don't come telling us the cock and bull story about one Ibeto just answer my question |

Acidosis: What year was that? That amount is very insignificant when compared with his net worth. $3m sounds like what Dangote Sugar Plc (not Dangote Group o) makes as profit in 3 months.
As of 2015, man has 3 main sites for sugar productions in Nigeria. Just one of the sites in Adamawa (16,600 ha) produces around 166,000 tonnes of sugar, lol.
This experience wey Dangote dey share should be sometime in the early '80s. Best any bank can give Dangote right now is account statement or bank alert. No bank in Nigeria has his kind of money in cash. Only Dangote Sugar operates 13 bank accounts.
Let's not even talk about Dangote Cement, Dangote Salt, Dangote Flour, Dangote Transport, Dangote Packaging Company, Dangote Technology, Ports, etc. All PLC oo!
Dangote is world's "biggest" industrialist! Africa's biggest industrialist |

sonnie10: $10M is about #3.6B (naira) At 10% interest rate, that would be #360M per annum. If you divide #360M by 360 ( the one day he had the money in his room), that would be #1M. Therefore we can comfortably say that he wasted #1M to see his own money in cash. this happened a long time ago but I get your point |

thebosstrevor: are you serious with what you wrote down..how does women upbringing, money goes with paternity test, do you know women are the key to child birth, if another man impregnates a married woman and then she makes it look like it her husband who did it, when the man knows about what happened, do you think, it is logical or fair for the man to still support the child that is not his own, do you think the man will be comfortable with the woman. what's the link with what I wrote and what you wrote? I'm talking Abbott women attitude to money and you are talking childbirth /paternity test |

QuitNotice: SE/SS voted for Atiku (Obi), SW voted Buhari (Osinbajo). North voted Buhari. And the north is more populated than than the south. Who should win? Your guess is as good as mine. Now, the north knows their strength. If we can bring sb from Borno, and one from Benue or Kogi, as runningmate, we've won. That's the secret the south just exposed. This is a game, but politicians are gradually leading us to another civil war (God forbid). sad indeed |

LordAdam: I'm saying that law is sh*t. In France the law states that a man cannot get a paternity test. That law is sh*t.
If a law is not logically fair, it's sh*t and should be amended. And people who call for said amendment should not be cast as bigots by those who predominantly benefit from the law.
And the interesting part is that women are in general tight-fisted with their money. Her money is hers, his money is ours.
-Lord women who are tight fisted with their money do that because their partners have allowed them to/created the atmosphere for such That is a fact Upbringing of a lot of women also have its role to play BUT Their partners allow and permit it |
