The root of this is inferiroity complex.

More white folks in prison than blacks. Are you kidding me? There are more blacks in prison than whites not just by comparison to the adult population of both races, but also in actual numbers. Am quoting 2018 research. Pewresearch.com. This is despite the fact that blacks are a minority.
Blacks default more than whites hence the higher interest rates? How about to discourage minorities and keep them suppressed.
With all the racism and suppression, why won't blacks have more dysfunctional families?
oga, no need to argue.there are more white folks in jail than black folks in number.

You are one of those black folks that blame "racism" and all for their failures in life.

I am not one of them, hence why we dnt see things in the same light.

in the jim crow days, the family unit in the black america was still intact, even up to civil rights.

now most are useless sad huh cry

Nice one. Makes good sense. Another thing I learnt at least from a book called The Warren Buffet Way is to consider going longer into bonds if the returns are close to or rival what a satisfactory equity investment would give.

That currency bit is a bit tricky though. It might be worth more at the moment but it is what obtains when you need your money back that matters most. If the Naira appreciates relative to the Cedi, then you lose some of your money, if the Naira depreciates, you gain. But hey, if you adjudge that the returns in Ghana compensate adequately for the risk, or if the risk of a depreciation on the Naira seems higher than that of an appreciation in Ghana, it is reasonable. However, high interest rates may indicate that a currency should be weakening versus another currency with lower interest rates.
Yea

the Ghana currency is a bit more tricky because they don't run the konf of casino that Nigerian central bank runs (using dollars to defend cedis)

With a strengthening USD, it is telling on the cedi

but naira seems to be flat because of the casino (CBN)

The gentle man you quoted is correct to a large extent. Am not saying Blacks are saints, but the media seize every opportunity to exaggerate vices amongst blacks. I find it hard to believe that no White person benefitted from that tainted ATM. One thing you should understand about institutional racism is that it is hard to place a hand on, but it's effects are devastating. For instance, interest rates for Whites is lower than interest rates for blacks and Hispanics; you can buy hard drugs easier in minority communities than white communities, you think it's happenstance? I can go on and on. My point is, whites commit way more crimes than blacks but they are scarcely reported and a lot of times escape incarceration.
Do you know a blackman invented the elevator, cotton gin, car ignition, toilet seat and other notable inventions? But no one will tell you that, because they want you to have the impression that nothing good can come from a blackman.
Black folks on average default much more on their loans than white folks, hence the "higher interest rate"
Higher the risk of default, higher the rates

There are more white folks in jail than black folks, but BLACK MEN represent the stat disproportionately

Black folks invented a couple of stuff, yea we know

and the media is not exaggerating the vices in the black community, they are reporting it as it is undecided

Black family unit destroyed

Black kids not being raised well (not all, but a good proportion) etc etc

I'm not SE so what concern me if they go there. If Igbos like let them sit there helpless waiting for NA to defeat BH instead of working up plans on how to defend themselves. As for south, we can defend ourselves if we must.

Trying to shun me by insulting my mentality will not change my opinion. I will not pity those who created this problem for themselves. This is a life lesson to both North and NA. They should learn from it.

They created Boko Haram so this is more or less their fault. The harassment and unnecessary killings of groups with views the government does not like made Boko Haram become militarized as self defense. The northern leaders using them for politics made them exactly in the level they are today. I don't pity NA because all their extra judiciary attacks towards BH when they were unarmed made this happen. Nor do I pity North because when GEJ and Ihejirika was winning against Boko Haram, they spoke against the attacks and supported Boko Haram simply because of their hate for GEJ and ihejirika. Even Buhari once said an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on North. They've played politics with their own lives. Sad. It's sad their creation is what's reducing their population. My only fear is BH bringing their madness South. I hope they keep their activities in the North please.
you see typical black man mentality?

Once they are done with the north, they are heading south, especially South East.

We better join hands and deal with these rag tag terrorist

Or the entire country will have itself to blame

Baba, so far we don't have basic amenities in Nigeria, people will continue to migrate even if they earn 1milla monthly.

Just stroll from Tejuoso market in YAba to Ojuelegba flaunting your iPhone 7, if SARS won't wahala you, either you part with some fees or you have a family member in the military or para military that will save you.

Or you rushed a sick relative to hospital, you were told no doctor to attend to him, or you were given drugs to buy, you went to the hospital pharmacy, they tell you they don't have, you went outside to buy the drugs, you were sold fake drugs.

Baba, we have a lot of problems in this country that you can't solve by earning good salary, you can only use your good salary to ameliorate it.

If you've travelled out if this country to a more saner country, you will understand better that it's not about earning "good salary ".

Nigerians in Nigeria should show that they have functional brains first before soliciting for assistance from Nigerians in diaspora. Like Branson (owner of Virgin Atlantic) said, " Nigerian politicians are too corrupt and insane". Why would a sane investor move his investment to Nigeria when the people he intends to help demand for bribes to be helped? Assuming a concerned citizen wants to build a hospital, from land acquisition, building approval to the buildings, everyone and every agency has hands out for bribery and gratification outside of the official fees and dues. Most patriotic fellows that came with open minds went back. And the helpless Nigerians think they are wise until they or their immediate families become victims of their malfeasance.

Do you want to fix your street for everyone's benefit? You must grease the palms of local government officials and the Youth Union of the town. Why bother? Na person wey enter river im dey swallow. Why save people who don't want to be saved? Everyone is out for selfish interests instead of communal interests.
