Business › Re: CBN Debits Four Banks Over N5.87 Billion Fines by Ugosample(m): 6:08pm On Sep 12, 2018 |
SalamRushdie: Shut up there .. Where in the world is a single company singled out for mind boggling fines , you know nothing about business and smart governance like the typical shallow Nigerian free loader that has never created any value in his life .. Do you think the US govt will ever fine Boeing to the point of killing it ? Are you aware that the barrage of extortion driven fines is about to close MTN down ? Are you aware ordinary Nigerians are the ones that bare the brunt of these poorly thought out fines and not South Africans ( infact my firm was affected by the first 5 billion dollars fines and we had to shed so much weight just to try to survive So did 100 of other SMEs satelliting around MTN)
MTN just finished barely paying the 5 billion dollars fine and next you want them to magically source another 8 billion dollars back to the CBN and next another 2 billion dollars around tax waivers they got 10 years ago ... Let me tell you for free MTN is already making plans to exit Nigeria and I will see how you dull govt will be able to run the shell they leave behind like Etisalat did ( till date has your useless govt been able to sort out 9 mobile )
The Buhari govt is more interested in extorting a company that succeeded against all odd from zero support infrastructure to multiple taxation , providing their own electricity , paying taxed on generators , providing their own security and paying the highest coporate tax in Nigeria yet all your dull govt can think about is to search for loop holes to make them an ATM ... Never try to compare your shallow mind with mine because I am not in your brain or pay grade .... At most your are nothing but another lazy Nigerian worker holed up in one office doing nothing from morning till night but waiting for salaries and chuwa chuwa to feed .. See this one oooo that is my fear really As much as I know Mtn are criminal thieves, at least they are adding value and creating jobs, both direct and indirect So they are a necessary evil, and we need to be punishing them with sense and not recklessly like this. If mtn leaves, Nigerians will run what's left of it to the abyss |

During Gowon's re-integration program for igbos, chunk of the money used cane from SW and part from SS Oil.
If left alone, Igbos wouldn't have survived up to six months #Fact.
Yet you lots are so ungrateful for the kind gesture from Nigerians. what is this one talking about? |

1. Government fought against the Igbos between 1967-70
2. But Government is fighting for NE.
I beat my chest everyday and shout how proud i am to be Igbo.

One thing certain: In the next 50years, North-East Nigeria can NEVER be like the current Igbo land.

We in Nigeria are not doing okay, the fact you're feeding fat from the APC led government doesn't mean everyone is, 11million Nigerians who lost their jobs are still gnashing their teeth, moreover if you think deeply enough whatever you're gaining now isn't sustainable, is it?
I'm not rooting for PDP either, but if you're getting out of this mess your party's candidate is not the man to lead the charge, no indicators to base any confidence on. no mind that goat Nigeria from what I saw the last time is in big shit Unemployment growing (a man I used to know working in a good place now is a danfo driver to make ends meet) his kids withdrawn from the school they used to go, etc Poverty and hopelessness increasing Insecurity increasing YET! BabaO2: This man, sharing of money within a region/party line like Jonathan did is not governance, and can PDP tackle security better than this administration? of course NOT, we saw what happened under Jonathan in terms of security and it was his administration that exposed Nigeria to the present security challenges and once you have this kind of security malaise, to get out of it is always impossible no matter how sophisticated you are as a nation. unfortunately, we dont have sincere opposition, they are only interested in money to grab and share. another apc apologist sycophant Una eye go clear next year |

Everyone in affected areas like these and citizens generally should be able to direct all anger and vituperation at the government of the day, whether state or federal, for failing to deliver good governance and infrastructure to the people. It is failed governance/bad leadership not peculiar to any state or tribe.

Runalong333: Bro , i don't dispute that , I personally know a couple of them who own successful businesses in naija , some export their products to naija . But my point was that it's totally ridiculous to think if their country was shytty , they would start flooding Nigeria of all places , even though they are visa free to places with better economies and living standards with security like , Singapore, Israel, Ireland etc . How many of the South Africans you met in naija are there to "hustle "? I'm sure they all had solid reasons to be in naija and were not causing a nuisance or disturbing the peace of citizens , opposite of what our people are here . So the chances of South African people being so desperate to migrate to naija , is ridiculous especially as illegal immigrants lol. true sha South Africans are less likely to come to naija to "hustle" the way our people do everywhere We need to work on ourselves as a people But geeed and the quick quest for riches always hold us back I'm tired |

Runalong333: LMFAO, another supporter of foolishness . Nollywood what ?. South Africans come to naija as visitors at scoan, same as some come to check on their businesses, same as some are in naija to look after South African interests in the country . But how many of these people are in Nigeria illegally? . Are they desperate to remain in naija like we are desperate to remain in their country ? Nope, they come , do what they came for and jet off back home. Like I said before , this was a dumb thread , there are no South Africans that would be desperate to migrate to naija , when better countries can easily accommodate them , it's just delusions from people like yourself . Lol, nollywood when South African movie industry has two Oscars , their movies get reviewed against Hollywood movies not among " African best" lol. This is ridiculous . You have a point tho But there are south Africans who have made Nigeria theur home sha and are running businesses and making so much profit From it met two in Abuja sometime in 2016 |
