Jonathan 'squandered' the foreign reserves in maintaining our exchange rate, and that's why life was easy for Nigerians. What do you think would have happened to Nigeria by now if Buhari maintained exchange rate where Jonathan left it? Let's not also forget about fuel subsidy and the price at which petrol sold under Jonathan. Those are all contributory factors. Also, remember Buhari has borrowed more in 3 years than PDP's 16 years borrowing.
That is what I keep telling these e rats

Let this useless govt maintain fuel price at N97 and naira at N197/dollar

Let's see what will become of his gov't in 6 month's

Only politicians say this. No Academic or Finance professional will posit this.

Please show me how you arrive at your average price for each administration. Show me also a year by year graph showing the foreign reserves value each year, average crude oil price per year & average Usd exchange rate per year. You will clearly see the result of your statement. Let the current administration fix our exchange rate back to the last time we had Average $70 crude oil price like we have this year & then see what value you will get on the foreign reserve values.

We actually did continue improving Lagos when they left, and that is why Lagos State is currently the undisputed most developed in the whole country.
The other places where they didn't really reside in, like the south south and whole of the North and East, are still basically the same as it was since 1960.
And while I agree that they would never have developed the country in a way that the Nigerians would be equal to them, it is also worthy of note that the Nigerian elite who replaced them have not faired better in that regard.
At the very least, a certain standard of accountability would have been demanded and obtained from every ruler in the country, not the share-the-money mentality that we have been plaqued with till date.
who told you the colonialists did not reside in the easthuh or deep south? huh

That's not true......

It all has a lot to do with the mindset of the populace. Nigerians have no maintenance culture compared to some Africans. Look at places we occupy in London and South Africa, we found them clean and developed but today after our influx resemble what we left back home. So even if the Brits had developed the country , by now it would have been the slum we have. Look at places where South Africans refuse to rent us their homes , even within the same city , you can tell where there are more Nigerians and where there are more South Africans. Can we blame not having whites for our way of life and carelessness?.

#Revealed

Many of you would not know why Innoson is persecuted under the smokescreen of GTB nonsense. He was asked to relocate his automobile production plant to Lagos, he refused and insists to adhere to Ojukwu's counsel to Nnewi sons "not to move their investments outside Nnewi".

Later on, Nigeria Air force lured him with the contract of refurbishing their aging aircrafts and requested he executed that contract in Kaduna by moving down his Igbo engineers and sections of his company down to Kaduna, he refused. Later on, Air force haven seen the necessity of bringing down their dilapidated aircrafts down to Nnewi, were forced to do so as western countries could not help in the refurbishment. Innoson beyond Nigeria Government's expectations, gave the previously written off aircrafts, a new lives.

Being afraid of what is happening in Eastern Nigeria and the glamorous tech ongoing in Innoson, FG under Buhari decided to punish Innoson for his refusal to relocate to Lagos or Kaduna where his company will be sensor properly. The first punishment was series of seizure of his raw materials in wharf by the custom despite import waiver given to him by the Good luck led government.

Secondly, the 30% policy of buying IVM products by Nigeria government and her agencies by Jonathan Government was cancelled by Buhari. They had accused him of importing arms before just to crush him as they did to Ibeto, but to no avail. Buhari believes Innoson can manufacture arms for Biafrans to fight Nigeria. If he could refurbished war gunships, he could manufacture arms and armoured personnel carriers for Biafrans.

GTB BANK is just a smokescreen, they want to kill him for refusing their order!

first off I want to say a very big thank You to the likes of Ugosample, JWtheocracy1, Popizaino et al who have contributed to the survival of this thread.

I will be making a bold decision which is finally relocating to Abidjan after much thought (don't mind me actually I think I've had enough with 9ja). I've been following discussions on here very keenly.

With much information at my disposal(thanks to those guyz aforementioned) I believe I might not have much challenge save d language ish which I'm very much working on.

Lucky for me have got peepz who have been resident in Abidjan for some time now (around Trechville to be precise)

I just might be sharing my own first hand experiences in a couple of weeks from now.

#merci!
That is okay

However as I told those in the Gambia thread, coming to Abidjan means you have to keep your expectations very low,
and work very hard, having your own clear cut plan

Coming to Abidjan to look for work to me is a mistake, instead you should come for business

please also look out and be a good ambassador of your country.

I will engage you bec6uou put your point across so well and courteously

I am a Benin man and I will speak as a neeutralist

I disagree

Actually both yorubas and igbos have done Nigeria's image alot of damage

1. Yorubas start and professionalized fraud, scams , both pension and mortgage plus tax returns in both the Americas and Europe .

If you know you know , yorubas run cartels that specializes in identity there in both America and.Eutope . Is it drug.trafficking that made World financial institution Nigeria from freely using your bank cards online? No it's inernrt scams run and perfected by the yorunas ...

Do you know how far back I know big brosses doing shopping and carding ? As far back as 1999 when we closed school and I travelled for holiday to America . Then I was in unilag my year 3...that's when I first saw what you call.organized crime...the yorubas have cartels who push dud cheques, mortrgae scams , impersonation specialits etc....

They have online and.offlime scams ... Go to CBN and as for.recirds of bank staff that have 1. Stolen customers money, 2. Stolen from the bank in millions.ovet the last 30 years... Yorubas leads , this is very verifiable ..

Infact Yoruba crimes ensure you can't use Nigerian IO anymore , you can't.have goods shipped to Nigeria etc

Now let's go to grand.theft auto (car theft) yorubas run cartels in Alericas and Europe

Now the igbo you were so quick to mention are well known for.drug trafficking

Those of us from Edo state we are known for human trafficking and prostitution

But when you look at this list of all tribal crimes , it you yorubas who are quick to point fingers that have done Nigeria's image the worst blow ever

PS I am in my late thirties I have travelled far and wide and interacted with people who matter and I can tell you that at the end of the day we are all Nigwrians.
So stop with this uninformed rant as your tribe did the most damdsge

Ordinary Chinese? Africa/black dey suffer no be small oo. Why do they discriminate against us that much self? What makes them think we are of less importance on this planet earth? Like blacks are seen as nothing, what's up now? I came across a news of how a man murdered a black girl inside a bus in the U.S the other day and i just can't help buh think of creation, is it that God doesn't have anything to do with blacks? Like how did black even came into existence self? Like, you know it's a criminal case, yet you don't mind going to prison buh this black individual here irritates me and i must take her out is all i care. What's up now? There must have bn something with blacks, and i must find out, i'll continue with my research, i'd never stop. This thing hurt alot, it hurt so much that i don't ever feel like travelling to any other country outside this Africa continent. Irrespective of how great a black man is, it doesn't matter to a riff raff white skin racist. Look at the other day one useless white was telling airport officers not to traet him like black, i don't understand, how is/was black supposed to be treated? How were they supposed to handle him? Irrespective of our skin colour, don't we have same organs and are we not to feel same pains too? I am no more understanding this thing at all. God save us blacks in this crazy world.
It's our collective failure as black folks

tho it's disgusting racism
