With 900k can anyone suggest which European country to consider?
If I were you, I'd move to another African country and start a business

But before that, I'd do background research in the business I want to do for 4 to 6 months first

After visa application plus flight to Europe, that 900k don cut considerably

Most people believe other African countries are trash but believe me, many Nigerians are making it big in those countries. I am not talking about the popular ones like South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia or Ghana or those Arab nations. I'm referring to the West , East and Central African countries like Senegal, Kenya, Gambia , Guinea , Angola and etc..

Let's hear your views if you are in any of those African countries, the economy and the likes.

I know of Gambia, many Nigerian professionals are there making it big. Also, many Igbo traders are there also.

let the comments keep coming in
Well I have lived in some other African countries, and yes, especially if you are an entrepreneur, moving to another stable African counter could be the best thing you could ever do

Life in Abidjan is lovely, life in Accra too is also lovely but I prefer Abidjan

When I stayed in Cotonou and Abomey Calavi, life was slower than what I am used to, but I loved it.

Lome is VERY SMALL and Ouaga is also a bit slow.

Liberia and Sierra Leone to me are even more shitty than Nigeria, but they have business potential too

Sadly the Lebanese and Chinese are the ones profiting, especially in Freetown

so guys, with proper planning and God on your side, you will most definitely succeed out there

You are correct. No quick money in any developed country in the world. It's only in Africa that you can make quick money by ilegal means.

Op, the bulk of the money you make in Germany would be spent in Germany. That is how advanced economy systems are designed to work.
But why the obsession with quick money among Africans? huh

All the Igbo governors are cowards.

Your very own people were murdered during a peaceful protect and were tagged terrorist.

A lot of souls were lost as a result of the shootings by the military men.
If it were the Hausa's, they wouldn't had been shot.

We shall continue to be slaves to the Hausa's until brain is given to our Igbo leaders.

It exasperates me so much to see a leader who is suppose to speak at the right time keep quiet and become timid.

The souls of those that were killed will continue to hunt those perpetrators and evil leaders who had a hand on the shootings.
Nobody is slave to anybody

It's in the same north that soldiers keep shooting Shiite protesters, so forget that talk

The governor's extended a hand to that goat Cownu, but he blew it.

Now that the chicken came home to roost, you expect the governors to carehuh

The governor's can never support IPOB, and it has nothing to do with being "slaves to anybody"

Nigeria is too large a country for one man to preside over. If we don't split amicably, I'm afraid this kind of news will be recurrent.
India, China and the United States are much bigger and complex than Nigeria.

That is the sad reality some folks fail to acknowledge.
There are a lot of distress sales in lands and houses recently.
It is a good place to put money but not always profitable especially when adjusted for inflation. N1m in 2010 ($6,667)have higher purchasing power than N1m ($2,777) in 2018. A land bought for N1m then need to be sold at above N2.4m to be profitable today. However, the beauty of lands/property is that they are good stores of value not prone to wide negative variations in price.

\
while you are right with the analysis on the foreign exchange value of 1m, the exchange rates don't always tell the full story, especially if you are a domestic investor

The situation in Japan and South Korea has shown that.
just saying sha
Properties › Re: 5 Misconceptions About Real Estate Investments In Nigeria by Ugosample(m): 11:32am On May 28, 2018
elninosanz:
Good post, however there are some things people should note before buying property

1. Not all properties appreciate exponentially over a long period of time. In other words, while a piece of land in Lekki or Magodo might increase 10 times it's original value over a 10 year period, some other pieces of land in some other areas may not be able to increase more than 2 or 3 times it's original value over the same 10 year period. My point is this. Use foresight in buying land. Don't just buy land anywhere because you must be a property owner

2. Make sure that the documentation is correct and in order before buying. May people have cried because they did not ensure the land they wanted to buy had ALL the proper documentations

3. If you are not ready to build immediately or you bought the piece of land just to resell later, i suggest you buy land within estates(provided the developer has all the necessary documentation). Land within estates are less prone to 'omo onile' snatching the land

4. If you don't have enough money to buy land in a good area now, rather than allowing your money to just lie fallow in the bank , invest in some other areas like stocks, treasury bills, mutual funds and the likes. There are some stocks that perform better in the long run than even properties. For example GTB was 5 naira in 2008, you can sell it today at around 50 naira. That means the stock is 10 times what it was in 2008 . Which means if you bought 2 million naira worth of GTB stock in 2008, it would be worth about 20 milllion naira today. Invest wisely
this is good advice bro

I'm taking this one to heart
