The otumokpo that Grace is using on Robert must be very potent.
While married to Stanley Goreraza with a child to boot, she was a mistress to Robert aka sidechick.
Braving all the odds against sidechicks, she succeeded Sally Hayfron as First Lady.
Like a monitoring spirit and drawing lessons from history, she never gave Robert the chance to have another sidechick.
Now she is steadlily working her way up to the real deal.
Kudos to her dibia...

Mugabe when fit would still have had side chicks then

I have read some of your comments and i just laugh at your ignorance. Let me break this Nigeria and america controversy..

I have tasted both sides and i can boldly say America is Far more exceedingly better than Nigeria in terms of quality of life: Good road, great healthcare which our rich men in Nigeria travel to get, surplus food, 24/7 light, no air/noise pollution from Generator, you can travel with no fear of robbers on the road, Excellent school system. My very own elder brother is a bank manager in one of the new generation bank in Nigeria and he tells me how he is surviving,i recently sent him some money. How can u compare a registered nurse and a bank manager in Nigeriahuh my wife is an RN getting paid 37$ an hour do the maths yourself and compare with my elder bro who rings my phone every now and then for money.

I recently took a vacation to Nigeria (Lagos) i was suppose to spend 3 weeks i ran back after 2 weeks because of constant power outage i had to buy 2k for fuel every bloody day, noise almost blocked my ear, Sars almost shot me because i refuse to settle them for no reason they labelled me a yahoo/arm robber, the story is for another day. Everywhere looking so filthy, all these is even enough for someone to run back.

America is not a bed of roses on the other hand, its a land of opportunities only if you are willing to hustle and improve your skill, a first timer might work at walmart, manufacturing company (warehouse) earning between 12$ to 15$ you can add a part time job to earn extra cash, all in all in a week a first timer earns between $450 to 500$ after tax and he lives just like those guys u call big men in Lekki and VGC. Compare side to side a nurse in Nigeria and a nurse in america, a bank manager in Nigeria and a bank manager in america. For you to compare a a menial worker in america to bank manager in Nigeria says it all..

If wee see truth make we talk am Nigeria no be am at all, no dey console yourself with hatred because american embassy deny you visa. stop the beer parlour argument and go do something tangible with your life.
LMAO grin grin

londoner:
Were you raised in the streets? So why the analogy?

Ghana has its poor trust me. It's not about forever expecting other grown adults to take the blame for decisions you make in your own life.

Ghanaians are not pampered by their government but they are generally more principled by DECISION. There is a social expense to being a known criminal in Ghana whereas many Nigerians will celebrate a known thief
Who is it that will accept money to disrupt their system? Who is it that is accepting bags of rice to vote in terrible leaders for themselves and their children? Ordinary Nigerians that's who. There is no amount of money a Ghanaian will accept to disrupt Ghana.

Besides, Nigeria is surrounded by other poor countries whose governments ALSO don't do much for them but they don't seem to collectively stoop as low as some Nigerians morally. There is still a level of self respect and dignity eminating from the citizen.
When they seek other clines they take that with them too.

Ghanaians do not generally worship money as much as some Nigerians although they like nice things too. They along with other neighbouring Africans have mastered the art of contentment in their period of lack. A Nigerian will quickly become angry and desperate if he does not 'blow' in the fastest possible time even without any intention of working for it.

That desperation for FAST money leads to lots of the insecurity in some places Nigeria through unthinkable means. Trickery is a way of live for far too many in some places in Nigeria although not all. The government has their blame but the contribution of many of the 170 million other Nigerians in keeping Nigeria down, backwards and never reaching potential can not be overlooked.
You have a point

The fact you belong to the 15% hanging on does not change the fact that hunger is real in Nigeria/Africa.

I see your braveness. If you ever get an approved American visa, you should please tear it.. Now,
My brother, cousins and i are making it quite well in corporate America and not a single one of us will contemplate spending one night in Nigeria if it can be helped. No system is perfect, but you cannot convince me that Nigeria holds any value to anyone who appreciates real living (as against merely existing).

You comparing an American menial worker and a Nigerian bank manager is bullshit. Why don't you do it this way;
* An American menial worker versus a Nigerian menial worker.
* A Doctor or Nurse in America with those in Nigeria.
* An American taxi driver to that of a Nigerian grin list so endless.
We pay tax, oh yes and we fucking love it. For about a decade, light went off like once, and that was during a hurricane in my city before which I already got an e-mail informing me on that. I have peace, security, justice, know i can drive at night, alone, on impulse, and have zero fear of armed robbers or area boys or bad roads. I go back to my abode, knowing i won't have to struggle to find kerosine to cook, that i won't need candles as my source of light, that i will turn on the tap and water will flow and that my biggest problem would be what to cook rather than if i will get to eat or not. Oh please fvck it, you can't compare tongue

The average 18-year old American kid can take a backpack, pick a ticket to anywhere in Europe and fly out... with nothing but a few dollars in their pocket. In Nigeria, successful middle class adults have to provide tax forms, letters from employer, return tickets home, bank account information, invitation letters, cram visa interview questions and answer + 7 day fasting and prayer, just to spend a few days in South Africa of all places. My brother... America isn't perfect, but i'm sure glad i live here and not in Lagos.
Now you can continue Argueing with your village people tongue
Don't mind the op

I understand your position but I think you are not looking at it wholly. Let me use Netherlands for instance someone doing a menial job and earning 1800 Euros per month life's value is even better than that of a bank manager in Nigeria. Yes, the residual income of the bank manager is higher likewise his physical assets.

But what the guy in Netherlands takes for granted; security, social welfare, access to affordable and world class health facility, ability to send his children to the best school in the country without sweating about it is a luxury to the bank manager.

Yes, money wise the bank manager has more residual income but the life of the guy in Netherlands has more value than that of the bank manager so the question is how do you measure quality of life based on money in your bank account or free and easy access to the things that makes your life comfortable? The choice is yours and it is different for everyone.
thank you jare

So name a single child born of a Nigeria who we can classify as being successful since they relocated because of their children? Just name one..I will be waiting. All are lies brother, even people born in America can't save up $200,000 after 65yrs and rely on social security in their old age. Giving birth to your child in Nigeria even gives them an higher opportunity of making it and becoming globally known.

A bank manager that is not into shady stuff (most of them are) can NEVER be compared to one earming $75000 p.a. especially if that amount is after tax.

Hi, you are in Nigeria your home country.. Are you living large there? And mind you, before i start planning to relocate to this place, i have about 400k in my account and living in a free single room self contained. I was okay with myself in Nigeria, i do not have it all but i was comfortable now i came here, i'm now living in a single room, sleeping on the floor, taking garri.. Why do you think i made the choice? Nigeria is fast becoming something else, it is not secure.. Things are not going well with my country.. I came here knowing fully well the consequencies, hun.. I could have continue living in my little luxury in Nigeria, but please.. If it's like i wanted more, i could have choosed dubai instead, i can get people to assist me with few more tokens with what i had and go for dubai, but all i wanted was to leave that shithole country.. Nigeria was fast becoming hell on earth. As time goes by, i will be okay here and i'd get on tracks, hun? Even those that travelled to dubai didn't just get there to start a luxurious life, you can ask justi4jesu what it feels like... And me not getting a job till now is all my fault, i am not always good at searching for jobs since i have not once search for one.. I deal with the computers.. Getting the right connection will set my feet on the rock here soon.. Very soon i say, i'd be back at my feet my sister. And i know few Nigerians here that always give thanks to God for the choice they made to leave that country.. And even though all the policemen are not the same, but with this little time have spent here, my sister, here is quit peaceful than many states and places in Nigeria.. And the electricity you are paying for in Nigeria, i know you can count the hours you do use them in a day.. Wether it's expensive here or not, it's worth it.. It's 24/7.. And 5 cedis ain't N500 and like i said earlier, whenever you are out of Nigeria, stop trying to do the exchange to Nigeria currency, you'd cry.. The exchange is not in favour of Nigeria naira at all.. Common cedi is now N87.. Is Nigeria and it's leaders not ashamed of themselves? Hun. Common cedi ooo. I pity that country.. I'm just glad i'm free from it first and i pray God will protect people i left there.. I have no plan to return t that country ever again. But if i return still someday, i pray God will continue to keep me as He has always been doing in that country.
I'm happy that you are happy where you are, but even though I don't agree with Pidgin2 most times, it's not good to insult one's country with reckless abandon the way you did

Please resist that.

The same country that you are insulting is home to millions of foreigners that don't have any plans of going home

Apart from that, I'm enjoying your thread.

Still very far from how you are seeing it. $40,000 is nothing anywhere in America but in new york it is poverty. It will get you by in smaller towns but forget about saving anything for 401k or your retirement. You will depend on social security to live when you get to 65. The average Nigerian in America is a Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse. At the peak of their career they can only make $65,000 and that is after 20 yrs of working. Even people earning $150,000 in America can't even afford to pay tuition fee for their kids. They rely on credit and loans facility. They don't have the money in cash. America is a credit base system, even the cars you see them drive will take 5-7yrs to pay off then their houses another 30 yrs.
So what is your pointhuh

Life in the U.S. and Africa can NEVER be compared under any metrics, so leave that story you are talking.
