NwaAmaikpe:

Just ideal. Take out the tares and admit the wheats.
87% of applicants to Unilag do not have academics as their main motivation. I'm just being modest. Unilag students are the least academically focussed in all of Nigeria.
Unilag is a cliché, a thing of class and an indication of social status rather than a citadel of academics. To them; being a student of Unilag takes them three step higher in the rungs of their warped social ladder.
How does one explain a school whose female students are actresses in KingTBlacHoc's videos and it's male students are Ycee and Lil Kesh? What is this one saying sef |

it's always good to see what the rest of the world looks like but to condemn where you coming from should be on a low-key otherwise you just keep worsening the mindsets of Nigerians in Nigeria and diaspora and non-nigerians as well.
truth is we Nigerians are a different specie of humans, its so rare to see an American relocating permanently to else where in the world. they love their country, they support it. this is what we should do as Nigerians.
All in all...i dont have a problem with migration out of the country because our leaders ain't helping. one man's meat, is another man's poison they say. God bless our hustle, our country and whatever decisions we take
PS; but would I leave Nigeria to Ghana to seek a job, answer is an almighty No! I'd rather go there to hussle or do buisness Issalie o Millions of Americans relocate permanently as well o, its just that their reasons are not the same as why a Nigerian will do so. they migrate for opportunity and change of environment (especially those that hate cold) etc, not like Nigerians who want to escape hardship |

Have never till 2day regret any part and i'd never regret till i'd leave. Getting a permit is so simple that i can just decide to go to lome a day 2 the expiry of my stay. It is visa free don't you forget. They'd have to stamp it again when i'm coming in. Which kind person you be sef? Do you think I am pidgin2? Those who know me here know that I am a frequent traveller, who has lived in different countries. I was just advising you because I know wetin my eye see when Ghana immigration hold me and my passport was not within reach. Though the issue was settled maturedly, if I was not in order, i for hear am for cape coast that day. |

It's the reputation set already by other Nigerians. Most of them are known for carrying drugs. To stay on the safe side the authorities automatically assume you're a drug pusher because as common knowledge dictates "better safe than sorry". This is the honest truth Nigerians before you by deliberate acts have ruined the reputation of the country with their shady ways and their delusion that they are smarter than others We bear the cross for those bad eggs |

Godson201333: aww Don't be Biased.
@OP Yeah you need to process your residence permit..but another method for you to maintain your Legal status unlike other Illegal Nigerian out there is this,Before your 3 month runs out always take a Bus across the border to Lome ,spend a day out there and check into Ghana then you have your another 3 months.
It will be better for you to locate your nearest Immigration center and apply for a Residence permit cos this is gonna help you have a straight life out there and for future purposes.
Observation:People travel or relocate in life for difference reasons. We have already had enough threads about those in Nigeria launching campaigns about people who are travelling or relocating. That shouldn't be anybody's business,At least none of you guys is responsible for OPs ticket or welfare. You guys shouldn't be pained, one Man food is another Man poison,It Depend on the way you see it.A guy from Benue State once asked me few years ago at CMS,pointing at the lagoon and considering it to be swimming pool?Is that not lack of exposure?Do you guys know so many Nigerians that has never at least experience stable electricity. So many of you guys always mix things up with money, money ,money but money is not Everything. For someone who has been to every part of Ghana, west Africa itself,Europe,Usa..Nigeria is still no where to be found. We thought Ghanians how to do prostitution,Sakawa (YAhoo Yahoo ) and many more rubbish...Ghanians are not rich but they are happy and they have all those Basic Amenities that single Nigerian desire to have.
@OP you too don't get excited too much,Im sure if you should spend a weekend in Abidjan,You will definitely run crazy lol Biased like how? please tell me |

Luxuryconsult: you will be given a 60 days stamp at the entrance.. If you come with ABC, Cross Country and the likes, it is thier duty to help you with the stamp.. They will collect your passport (i mean all passengers) and tender it at every immigration office. You will then change it later at any immigration office for a token. But nobody is asking for any work permit before they'd recruit you but it's a must to always change your visiting so as to extend your stay and you can do few other official stuffs. Hope you have started processing your permit too? All your praise for gh will vanish once Ghana immigration hold you lol. So it's better you get a permit so as not to be found wanting |

samsard: The responses to this thread shows how dishonest average Nigerians are. They're not any better than the politicians they criticise on a daily basis. A British friend of mine said that "Nigerians are known worldwide for being dishonest". They cheat in exams, they increase their children's age to let them vote when the kids are still underaged (to gain numerical advantage) then they reduce official age when they need jobs coz the whole system is bleeped up! Nigerians are the worst set of hypocrites I know. Whatever you decide to do with the excess payment, just remember that you have a BVN number with your biometric details. Would you leave the country of coz of 70k or 160k ?? Just remember that you have a BVN number. Help me tell them o |
