In igbo land, there are varieties of food, and no igbo guy would love to leave those delicases, these include ofe akwu, it is a soup made from palm canel extract, Abacha(African salad) made with casaver, Nsara soup, oha soup, ugu soup, ede, guns, ngwobi, isi ewu and this include many others, and igbo men need security from the female he got married this means that if any thing happens he knows the woman to home, and that is why he goes home when he is ready to settle down. convert that to naira at 305/dollar then multiply by 365 days
Nigeria is one of the richest country in the world! Our country is a wasteful one too. With all the money we have made, we have little to show for it. |

9jakohai: In fairness to PDP
1.They did create things like EFCC,TSA, ICPC...which are helping the anti-corruption drive.
2.In my opinion, corruption will persist in Nigeria...until Nigerians realize how destructive it can be , even when 'our son' is doing the stealing. It does not matter if we elect a party of saints or sinners...so long as Nigerians don't realise how destructive corruption can be...nothing can be done. You are right on that one |

Adminisher: Buhari was made Presidential candidate because of a base of12 million votes as a candidate of a "small party called CPC" . That base is now 30 million and covers the core north, middle belt, 65% of SW and surprisingly now includes Ebonyi, Edo, Ondo et.c
You can stay on the Internet and postulate using the old rigging and vote allocation practicess that makes unknown Abuja based people NASS members and governors. You would be deceiving yourselves.
Farmers, teachers, bus drivers, taxi drivers and road side traders hold the true elective power and they are not on Nairaland. And you think that these masses will vote the man that has made their lives more difficult over the last two and a half years I wonder whether it is the same Nigeria I know or another one |

I can't say the same of FBN. Not gotten login details now for about a month. I actually wish I hadn't started anything with them.
Meanwhile, I'm really thinking of joining an investment WhatsApp group. If anyone knows anyone who knows anyone managing such a group, I'd like to join and share investment ideas That's good. I guess I'll just pitch my tent with Stanbic then. |

I know graduates that earn as low as N30k monthly, I mean university graduate, while others earn 150k, 500k, ,750k, 1m monthly etc. We all have different taste and outlook to life. I have seen people whp earn 500k relocate to America and canada. It is your choice, ok. That your 250k monthly is change if you dont know, go to developed countries and see how people live normal life.In Nigeria, even the rich is still suffering. No constant light, no security, no good road, no good medicare, no good leadership, generator noise daily.....kidnapping and robbering, etc. The choice is yours, is your life. Not everybody will leave the country Those who the country no favour na im wan comot, which unfortunately, most Nigerians belongs to. Those in that 20% bracket that seem to be "doing fine" will not understand the sufferings of millions of others |

Saintp: If you are judging Ghana by our low African standards, then Ghana is up there especially with Nigeria being a fool at 57. However if you are judging by world standard, then Ghana is trash. In fact, apart from SA, no other African country comes close to being developed even close to the poor eastern European countries not to talk the big western countries. People are hyping Ghana because Nigeria's very poor standards has made Ghana look good where as in the actual sense, both countries are trash. It's a sub Saharan problem. We are not serious people. We want development, but we are not ready to pay the price for development. Freeloaders are what we are. Shame |

Hardfacts234: In fact a man doing menial job in America and earning $8 per hr & working 40hrs per week will earn a total of $1280 per month.
If he spend $1000 on house rent, he will be left with $280. Not to talk of other bills like Food, transport, insurance, electricity, cable etc
Certainly a man with N18,500 job will be better of. What can 18500 buy? |

That's not entirely true bro.. Lots of Igbo guys are marrying Yoruba girls these days, especially the ones who grew up in Lagos and even Abuja sef In my circle, it's very common for an Igbo guy to be dating, or even planning to marry a Dupe or a Bunmi. Naturalle: Kai, the number of sick responses on this thread is appalling. First of all if you are not a parent, you do not qualify to answer her question or respond to her. Secondly, look at all the sick people talking about not being fit to be a mother... her baby is looking good and doing well and better off than babies left on the road to die or even babies in the orphanages. Who are you to say she's an unfit mother? Thirdly who says marriage makes you a fit parent? Who are all these fathers, mothers, stepmums and stepdads beating and molesting their children that we read about every other day on nairaland? Bottomline is who are you to decide who is fit or unfit to be a mum? Did you help carry the child for 9 to 10months? Have you ever bought diapers and sent to her before? Omo, I can already see how 2019 Presidential election will turn out with the number of Wackos we have in this country! Rubbish. No mind these people... They are just sadist |

MarieSucre: Checks. Of course it would be a man, who else will talk so authoritatively on women issues like he has experienced it or he will ever experience it.
Do you know the maternal mortality rate in our grandmothers' days?
Do you know the new born survival rate for unattended teenage pregnancy?
Do you think it's all children of mad women that are born normal without complications like cerebral palsy etc?
Did you just compare human female birthing process to animal birth?
Do you know that humans have one of the longest gestational periods which is 48 weeks and are encouraged to breastfeed their children for longer than any other mammal?
Do you know humans cannot just just dump their children on the floor to fend for themselves after 2 years like all other animals but must take care of them for the next 18+ years?
But how can you know all these, you're just a man who chooses to be willfully ignorant of an issue that he'll never experience and still claim authoritative knowledge on it.
Please do your research or do not get married to have children, it would be a disaster. You have a point, but he also has a pomt. Times have changed, but gestation and birth is still the same process |
