2 million: if you don't understand my statement, why not ask for clarityNah! I understand you statement quite clearly. I ain't that dumb, that's why I'm not shifting blames of not getting admitted to a JAMB registrar instead of studying hard to join those that get admitted yearly. Kapish? |
2 million: why won't they look for him when he keeps on frustrating thousands of students yearlyYet, other thousands keep getting admitted into the university yearly. Go and study, don't be on the other side of the divide. |
Wow! I'm just seeing this thread now, courtesy of staying off this politics section for a long time now. Maybe, just maybe, I might have a reason to be back. Nice initiative, I hope this really works out fine because some of us really hate the tribal insults going on here. Its ironical how the politics section that was supposed to enlighten people, even foreigners on the beauty and politics of our country turns out to breed contempt on our hearts: Nice move admin: funny how Nairaland politics section turns you to a tribalist, Nl Romance section turns you to a sadist, its Religious section turns you to an atheist and the business section exposes you to scams. We need more of such innovate moves. Welcome bros, hope the flame doesn't burn out soon. |
nerodenero: I think the POP date is usually 3weeks before the Orientation camp opens. In this case, the new 2013 Batch B corps members will resume camp 25th June,2013 and if you deduct 3weeks which is 21days from 25 i.e.25-21=4, that is 4th June and this contradicts the date being rumoured around as the POP date.Fingers crossed and watching!!!Abia! Na the formula for calculating passing out date be dat? I bin dey think say na almighty formula dem dey use. Lwkmd!!! |
Nie to watch this game as a neutral observer. Looking forward to watch the best of football. Its hightime the Germans win something, its been a long time, if only to thwart platini's El classico dream. Waiting patiently with half a dozen bottles of Alomo ![]() |
newdeal: The fellow has apologised for God's sake, what more should he do? Kill himself because his emotion got the better part of himnOga, he should have had his emotions under control. He is a professional for fvck sake! Last year when Baloteli scored for my noisy neighbors, he displayed an imprint "why always me". That phrase became a new hit and the youths displayed it on their shirts, as their signature, BBM profiles, facebook status and so on. Who knows what this 'suarez bite' will cause this time around. My point, these are well paid professionals and should behave as such. Millions are watching them, and easily emulate them. That's why their are associations and bodies setting rules to guide them, else each player will do worse, apologise and expect to be forgiven. I can still remember one of the world cup events where FIFA had to ask the Mexican coach to stop smoking at the stands during games. Hope you get the point! |
His stupid twitter apology does not hold water! Tomorrow, someone will smuggle a pen-knife into the pitch and stab his opponent, then render some twitter apologies later and blame it on frustration. Hazard did apologise after the ball boy incidence! I trust English FA, the least he will get is 8 match ban. I believe this will mark the end of his career in England. If he stays back, then all away matches will be a nightmare for him as fans will hound him with those pictures and banners as displayed in this thread. My take, he deserves it! He has brought so much controversy in English football and is high time they boot him out. This is an inexcusable action; and should be met with a harsh ban and sanction. Apologies my foot! Action and reaction are equal and opposite, suarez should be handed an 8 match ban, and thereafter, a community service of entertaining animals in the zoo with his ball juggling abilities. |
Preeeshun for male, stand'a'ice for female. |

One episode is apparently missing!!! |
yertyr: Mazi...U're a gud writer no doubt, u have talent. But I must say this...u're not there. Firstly, if u're observant, u wud knw that ur fans are only interested in ur sex scenes nothing more.mazi, u're not painting pictures while writing. U lack that ability to describe anything in ur writing not even the sex venue and the characters- we don't know how ur room look lyk, how esther looks lyk, d hostel u stayed in nysc, how chifawu is, how rita is.... How can we effectively be glued to u. Ur writing is just plain.I think I can authoritatively speak on behalf of Mazi, having co-authored the previous work. . . I belief you didn't read the first work in details, some of the girls with mazi now were previously met at the camp, where he described the perfectly. He described Oge as being short with a nice shape and big bossoms. In his words, "what she lacked in height, she made up with in shape. Esther was described the first time they met at the camp kitchen where she commented on his meal ticket being almost empty as he skipped. Chifawu was also described as elegant with a 'churcheous' dressing: na make up etc. He described her the first time they met at the RCCF fellowship where she was an usher. The hostel at camp was described vividly, with illustrative words as being crowded, the bunks and lockers/wardrobe and so on. And so on. . . There are lots of underlying messages in this work and I don't believe mazi will dedicate full episodes describing his room or Nina: how many girls is he going to describe? And will you be willing to read a full episode that just contained the description of a room? This is what makes this work unique, it is smooth to read and easy to comprehend. Finally, in the words of Chinua Achebe, ". . .write your own." Mazi is an engineer and has work he does. Having the time to write and upload together with his work is something thrilling. In the words of Mazi, "thanks for following." |
ItsModella: ok, so what about foreign graduates? do they have the option of choosing where they want to serve? I heard from someone that they get that option.Foreign graduates used to have that option, but they stopped doing that as at 2011 batch C (or there about). No more preferential treatment, even in ppa's. Had two foreign graduates in my camp (I believe there were more, but I only saw those two, they were in my platoon). One actually got posted in a village local govt council. |

dayleke: Hey!Ujchief, the UGLY ONE!!!!!Fine, my brother. Guess I'll sit out on this one. |
Hahahahahahahaha!!! . . .Each boko haram member that embraces the new amnesty should also be given 72 virgins from any state of his choice. Its only fair to pacify them with the virgins they so desire. Hahahahahahahaaha!!! Who's says crime doesn't pay? Gej will soon prove to you that crime pays! Big time! |
What we saw way back in 2011. . . You call it betrayal? I'm not disappointed at all! I never expected anything good from this government. Amnesty is not just going to be given in the form of "lay down your weapons and get a state pardon", they are going to be paid monthly like the militants, they will be sent abroad for training in various fields like the militants, and will have a yearly budget like the militants! Who knows, we might even have a ministry of boko haram affairs, like the Niger delta ministry was created. Who says crime doesn't pay? Gej administration has proven otherwise. Crime pays, big time! |
Few minutes after learning he is clean, all he could do was to go for his condoms! Smh! What a weird choice. Greetings from Imo state! |
Abati knows better than telling lies in defense of this woman. The last time he did, the woman broke all protocol and announced how she 'resurrected' from dead. She will certainly resurrect this time around. |
Ignorance, spiced up with inferiority complex. Mostly ignorance! |
It grieved your heart so much that you appointed a new deputy governor 9 minutes after the 'staged' impeachment of sir agbaso! You're a Legend (not the drink). |
PehaKaso: Gud security analysis there @mekaboy, but d biased & tribalistic NL Mods will neva move dis thread 2 d front page............smhYou want this trash on front page? This is the most useless analyses I've seen in recent years! We so much look up to aso rock while we have 5 igbo governors governing the 5 south east states. Last time I checked, T.A orji is igbo and he is a serving governor; what stops him from developing Abia? What stops the 5 governors coming together to fund landmark projects that will benefit the entire regions? Projects such as rail-lines interconnecting the zone, cargo airport, seaport, international airport and so on. Finally, its only a man that has not witnessed war before screams 'let there be war'. Any war in Nigeria now will affect igbos the most, even if it doesn't take place in any igbo state. Why? Check out the recent stats on victims of boko haram, then you will understand why. Pls, mods, take this thread to the recycle bin where it belongs! |
