Eko Ile: Unfortunately for all of you and your pointless arguements, all that nonsense was proposed and tried, but you people refused to yield to reasons and cautions, you chased them away with dangerous weapons, you think you are the law, you think you make the rules, you think this is your land and where you can do what you want and get away with it, but you found out the hard way that this is not your show and you are far far away from your iboland and the only authority in lagos is the authority of the people of lagos state.I actually dropped in to engage in a constructive argument, but seems you're bent on throwing insults and tantrums around. I don't do agbero-ism! Can you provide us with evidences in form of links that shows fashiola actually tried salvaging the situation by starting up committees before resulting to total demolishing of the market. If the committee setting up method was tried and never yielded results as you are speculating, then why did he resolve to it agaiin? I'm not here to exchange insults with, as usual, if you can't be civil with your conversation, I'd be happy to leave your thread. Thanks. |
Doing things backwards! He would have inaugurated this committee made up of the igbos, market unions and members of the state environmental team to look for ways to clean up the market and recommend ways of doing this; rather than taking an action people will consider as pure wickedness, and then turning back later to do damage control. We should learn to do things right, not taking knee-jerk reactions and then, upon regret, try to save face by doing some weak damage control. I'm saying this because I like this guy and will be rooting for him as a strong presidential candidate; but actions like this might taint his prospects. Peace. |
Party collapse because of logo? Nothing wey these pdp rogues no go insinuate!!! I'm not interested in a logo, they can use a dead cow as logo, what I'm after are the flag bearers. That is when I will know where my vote is going. Enough of this fresh mess called pdp! |
bukkylois: Pheeewwwwww!!! Am finally on the last page...Yay!!! Mazi u too much. Wer is ujchief sef....guess I no him from nysc batch B thread. Abeg update soonHi bucky! Long time. Its still the same chief of nysc batch B thread, you ran away from us! We miss you at the Big house! The boss, mazi put me on hold. He called it sanction, so I'm just cooling off until he frees me. I may still get a prolonged sanction for replying you. Keep in touch at the big house. |
Ogbeche77: Keep the faith bro, batch B ll soon be hitting camp soonest, things like this happens for a reasonMaybe by then, who knows, they might as well be paying the 33k as allowee ![]() Seriously bro, try to learn from this. I've followed this thread till now and I'm glad you made progress. But being more careful would have saved you the stress. Its not all events that is the will of God; sometimes, we thwart the will of God with our carelessness. Stay safe bro. |
EzeUche: Abia is improving in terms of power. But I think it is due to private investment. The new power station at Ohiya made power supply at Abia to improve tremendously. Its not a private investment stuff, it was one of the greatest achievements of prof bath nnaji; increasing distribution channels for the afam power plant. Abia enjoys an average of 18 hours of uninterrupted power supply daily. Abia governor started massive re-construction of roads in Aba few months back. It should be noted that the state of roads at Aba is too bad that it will take years to bring back the lost glory. My fear however, is that the rain will soon start, and it will be another excuse to suspend work till further notice. I won't speak much here so that I won't be called names, I will post pictures on that Afam thread. Where is it sef? |
Ngwakwe: Who will stand for my beloved Abia StateHave you seen the new School Road Model Primary school, Umuahia? If you see it, you will most certainly revive from your faint. |
So is Afam Ujchief?
Deluded dullard! For every thread you open to diss afam, I will open a hundred in solidarity! Does it make me afam? You're still naïve and myopic. |
Chief, I'll be representing Abia State. Covering Aba and Umuahia the capital. |
peckhamboi: What's your original username? And you are the biggest e-diot on Nl. Hope those rats loitering the streets of peckham didn't eat a part of your brain? |
Afam4evaIsASlut: Ban expires on 7:28am On Feb 07, 2106 That's more like it! Your I.p address needs to be blacklisted! You're a f.o.ol in 3-D. Keep on opening new mail accounts and new NL handles to use and whine like a sissy. Someone lock this thread and throw it into a bottom-less pit!!! |
Keep whining like a wimp! Afam is a mod, get used to it or die trying! Seun did not ask for your opinion before making him a mod. If he banned you, then you deserve a ban. I wonder why he hasn't banned your new moniker and blacklist your ip address yet for insulting a mod! E-dioot!!! |
Pukkah: Hilarious thread. My thought exactly!! I haf died with laughter here! Enough 404! The 'check ur neighbour's pot' by ITBOMB got me cracking! |
@gabialonso, I disagree with some of the points you raised above; I've nver experienced any delay in my federal allowee, I get paid like anyother corper elsewhere. Imo state has high educational tolerance as 97% of teens wants to go to school, so education is not as you described above. Coupled with the fact that Rochas pays stipends to the students, so they love education. Inasmuch as owerri is expensive, there are great places to be posted at owerri; Federal university of technology, owerri, federal polytechnic, nekede, imo state university, Alvan ikoku college of eduation and lots more. Acomodation is the only undoing of owerri and its environs. I still wonder what a corper needs hotel accomodation for where there are NCCF family house and most local governments has corpers lodge. However, you are on point about the state allowance. Imo state government does not pay corpers posted to its public secondary schools, so its just you and your federal allowee. However, those posted to state Ministries as well as local govt councils are paid an average of N5,000 per month. |
gabialonso: warri u mean @poster aboveYou can take a bus to onitsha from warri, then take another bus to orlu. |
Arsenal fans can now pick forms for manutd academy. Contact me for detail |
Athletico Madrid awaits Mukina1,2 and 3 at the Europa League! |
Beware Madrid! United is on fireee |
braine: UjChief, that means to say we should prepare for the worst. Okay.It would be far better now compared to my batch B that was during rainy season. The mud at that place was unbearable. |
gabialonso: pls i nid direction....from onisha to umudi camp site?Get to ITC park, get a bus going to Orlu, stop at their park at orlu, taxis will be waiting for you to take you to umudi. I advice that you don't go to owerri from onitsha as owerri is far from orlu. You will have to enter another bus coming to orlu from owerri and start the journey over again. |
Welcome to God's own state. Anywhere you're coming from, you can always get a bus to umuahia, the capital. You may be lucky to find a bus filled with corp members and u guys can ask the driver to drop you directly at thw camp. Else, you board a bus to Bende from Umuahia, its almost 30 mins journey. If you're flying, book your flight to Owerri airport, then trek to the back of the airport where you will see bykes that will take you to airport junction, then u will get a bus to umuahia. Don't make the mistake of going to owerri town from the airport as u will continue the journey over again. Umuahia is closer to the airport than owerri town is. I'll be here to entertain more questions concerning camping, ppa, live and people of Abia. You're welcome. |
reeeT: Anyhw wey dey wan do am,na redploymnt tins 4me weda medical, security or marriage cert.As in ehnn,na badluck jst dey follow since yetaday.if they like,d shld say redeploymnt is only 2ur state of origin i wudnt careless bt God's know's am nt stayin in bauchi 4 a whole yr.Sometimes, good things come in bad packages. Anyway, crazyman has highlighted the grounds for redeployment. Just make sure your medical papers is from a government hospital (a federal medical centre or teaching hospital will be better). No private clinic. If that can't work, we can always do an e-marriage, both of us and I will send you the marriage certificate so u travel with it ![]() |
manny4u: kai, am stil studying d map of ebonyi so hard, i wonda why i no do geography 4 high sch. Does anybody knw hw many hours it wud tk 4rm abuja to ebonyi? Cos am allergic to lng distance trip. ##sweatng alrdy##Book flight to Enugu airport, take off to abakiliki from their. Or, find a bus (peace, abia line, itc) coming down to enugu. Its easier from there. |
Welcome to umudi camp. I have to set it straight for you, imo state has the worst camp in all 36 states of the federation. You're lucky to be pregnant as Mrs. Ojukwu is very tolerant. You will be attended to during registration more easily than others at the long queue. You will be advised or even compelled to go home after your registration, you will be asked to return to collect either your re-deployment letter or you deployment letter based on your choice. However, most married and pregnant women still prefer to stay back and witness camp activities. The choice is yours. But I must warn you, the camp environment is not friendly at all. Umudi camp doesn't have a lecture hall: just a tenth with ne seats so u stand during lectures or use ur I.d card to sign a seat. The camp is not secluded, there is no fencing so villagers troop in and out of it, sometimes stealing your things when you go for morning lectures or parade. I don't know about female hostels but the male has just 4 toilets for the over 1,000 guys living therein, so you have to queue up to $hit, so the bush come easily to mind. I also heard the female folks complain the same thing. The female hostel is right in the centre of the camp, the noise from the public address system from the OBS makes it difficult to have a good sleep even at nights. There are so many things wrong with the camp, but finally, you will have a wonderful stay. Ujchief, batch B, 2012. |
I've really missed a lot from my little absence here. came in yesterday and was surprised of the recent events. Odumchi resigned, election took place, Eze Onlytruth returned winner. I had to read thru the nomination thread to do a bit of catching up. I'm impressed at the turnout and level of participation in this election; its obvious that it was better than the one we organised that saw Eze Odumchi emerge was winner. I'm really impressed. Congratulation to Eze Onlytruth; Nwanedo; more eagle wings to your red cap. Anyi kwu gi na azu! @PointB, Ogugua, next time I'm needed for a duty, could you PM me. I saw from the other thread that I was needed as a member of the tribunal. Meanwhile, congratulation on this landslide successful election. |
It seems I've missed a lot from my brief absence. You can't imagine how I felt yesterday evening when I saw this thread of 53 pages and I had to read up some of the pages to get updated with recent events. I want to thank all those that helped in conducting this election, its obvious that this was better than the one we conducted that saw odumchi emerge as winner; I'm really impressed that umu-igbo are still united in pursuing this task of a stronger and better ala-igbo. Jisienu ike. @pointB, ogugua; next time you nominate me for an election duty, you might as well send me a pm to that effect, I can see that I was required to carry on with my duty as a previous tribunal member. |
grafikii: Na which station dey show amLASU TV. Just make sure you tv screen is bullet-proof |
Sincere 9gerian: Very true. Great things are happening and I'm happy to be part of this transformation train.Sellout. . . |
Hahahahahaha ![]() ![]() ![]() Fvcked up mediocre!!! This butt sniffing you guys are doing ain't leading you no where. Months after months, what we keep getting is news of refurbished train moving 30,000 people in 3 months! Mtchewww. . . #meanwhile, fuel sells at N110 officially in all south east states...# |
jmaine: The scores must be balanced . .Abeg wetin be the scores na . .Any info ?4 -2 It was 3 -2 until the rival group went on an all-out attack to equalise. But a sudden counter attack lead to them suffering another shot on target. . . |
Rochas is gunning for his own selfish interest! How could he join APC without consulting the Ohanaeze? Selfishness! That's the bane of most of our igbo leaders. For me, there is no need putting old wines in new skin. Pdp has not disappointed Ndigbo, our leaders has disappointed us! |
digitalsimboja: I recommend u guys read RICH DAD POOR DAD by Robert KiyosakiSometime last year, the arthur of Rich Dad Poor Dad filed for bankruptcy. Why? The guy is broke and cannot maintain the hype he has placed for himself. Why am I saying this? Its easy to read inspirational books and listen to the speeches, but those guys tend to say and write things that are not feasible. They quote theories from the abstract just to sell their books and make money. Be wise. @topic; if you think a saved up N300k after service will help you establish much, then you are standing on a long thing! What govt needs is to grant us soft loans, and reduce the taxation on small scale enterprises. I won't say much now, but N50,000 per month for corpers will still go the same way this N19,800 is going. Don't forget that just few years ago, it was doubled from N9,800 to this present amount, and corpers felt it was going to help them start save and start something after service. |
