Akwa Ibom people have no beef with our ijaw brothers we have lived together, fished together in peace for eons, we are not about to start fighting now.

But politics is all about interest we cant begrudge our ijaw brothers their interest of more states, but we are putting them on notice of our own interest and desires which is the maintenance of the territorial integrity of Akwa Ibom as is. they are welcome to pursue their state creation but should count Akwa Ibom state territory as is, out of their quest.

This is coming as General Electric’s Distributed Power business is supplying GEL Utility Limited with three 25-megawatt (MW), trailer-mounted, TM2500+ aeroderivative gas turbines to generate uninterrupted power at the Port Harcourt Refinery.
Speaking Tuesday in Lagos when GE Power & Water unveiled its distributed power solutions for Africa, Nebo stated that those who lack access to electricity in Nigeria do not constitute just 50 per cent of the population as erroneously believed.
