Boko haram picked up arms against Nigerian government largely because of failed educational policy in the NE and Nigeria that was orchestrated by past ministers of education from 1960 - that includes Oby's tenure as minister of education. If they had established a federal university in each state and built 500 Almajiri schools as GEJ has done in three years, then maybe all the youths that are fighting for boko haram would have been in school studying. Oby is busy pointing her index finger at the FG but her other 4 fingers are pointing to herself and rightly so! |

On the contrary, Kwankwaso and his gang of APC will be the ones recieving the malawi treatment in 2015. It has already started in Ekiti and it will spread all over the Nation. |
Prechy2836: Bros I see u as u dey show em doz pics e dey pain dem for body just show others infact later today wen I stroll out I go post my own too make em see say B.Y no be d B.Y wen dem know.It would be really nice to see more pictures of bayelsa posted here. I will be looking. Forward for the pictures that you've promised to post. |
Wow its nice to see Ekoile 2.0, Gwabe and the usual APC scu**ags back at reporting APC news. Nairaland was missing your vitroil. Am happy that you guys have recovered from the depression of losing Ekiti State and Nyako and the looming loss of Osun and the entire SW. Now Fashola is the only shinning light that APC has got so i will let you rejoice for the few more months he has left as gov. for PDP will take over from him 2015. Kudos to gov. fashol for building the cardiac centre, but like his other elitist projects i hope that ordinary lagosians will be able to afford the hospital bills. May he not charge the equivalent of the LASU fees! |
This is old news, Lamido made these statement when he was hobnobbing with the nPDP defected governors. He dare not say any such thing against GEJ after apologizing to Mr president for his waywardness, ill - information and misguidance by Amaechi and his APC turncoats. Mr President has forgiven Lamido for hobnobbing with turncoats. Lamido cannot make any such statement today, because if he does, his two sons will be thrown into jail by EFCC for money laundering and he lamido will be impeached by his members of JSHA for nepotism and money laundering. Hes knows GEJ has got him where it hurts he has no option than to do what commander in Chief requires. |
now those pics are for the haters and ranters on this thread. Bayelsa is rising and no amount of bad belle/hateorade is going to stop it. |

all4naija: Can somebody post images of the place, please?here is bayelsa state pics from skyscrapercity
|
kel4soft: I hope you are not defending Bayelsa because the President is from there. That said, I agree with you that terrain is one of the major factor delaying the rise of Yenegoa but the money their politicians loots to build hotels and choice houses here and abroad. Things would have been better.show me any Nigerian politician irrespective of state origin thats not looting money? your excuse is laughable. I listed the projects that are ongoing in bayelsa state that will raise the stock of the state and instead of engaging me on those projects you choose to beat about the bush. If you have concrete/substantiated information bearing on the capital projects in bayelsa post it so we can debate it. am not interested in stereotypes and gossip. |
nairaman66: I finally realized you get crucified in Nigeria for saying the truth. I served in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, the place is nothing but a shithole.. Forgive my language.I also served in bayelsa to be precise kolo creek flow station. i also know bayelsa, the job of rebuilding in the Niger delta is not a days work especially after so many years of neglect by the government and also the difficult terrain. The truth is that bayelsa is changing and it will take some time to get it to where it needs to be and the government is working hard to make the state viable. but holding on to outdated sterotypes does no one anygood, the bayelsa you knew is different from the bayelsa of today. |
iscom: Please i live in yenagoa precisely okutukutu, nothing is going on in yenagoa. Age seaport nothing has been done, the airport he only sandfill little area. All these are just talk. You know the man naaa! Another stupid thing again, he always like to host every events about celebrity wasting our money. Beauty pageantry, amaa etcIs he currently building roads linking the 3 senatorial districts in the State? |
gov. of gombe state being shown around the stadium under construction during his visit to Akwa Ibom pics by john ekpo
|
kel4soft: Please travel to BY and verify this claim. Not just on the pages on newspapercan u point out any of the claims thats unsubstantiated? you guys dont wanna believe anything that dosent fit your stereotype you all have of bayelsa, dont worry give bayelsa a few more years and you all will be suprised. dont worry sterotypes are made to be broken, and bayelsa is ready to tango. like i said you will remember reading this post when you are amongst those queeing up for a job in bayelsa. |
iscom: A big lie. Don't misinformed people here.point out the lies, otherwise you are the misinformer. |
Bayelsa on the rise. the old Bayelsa that Nigerians have in their head is dying slowly and whats replacing it is the nigerian oil and gas investment hub. in the next few yrs most of you that are badmouthing Bayelsa will be relocating there to find work.here are a few new things happening in bayelsa: Bayelsa Cargo Airport- Under construction. Agge Deepseaport - undergoing preliminary survey $100billion dollar industrial park otuoke - under construction 100,000 bpd Epic refinery and petrochemical industry - under construction by sino asia intl. 201million euro foreign owned ceramic, glass, tomato paste, cassava to starch industrial complex - under construction at ekowe 10MTPA brass LNG - under construction. LPG gas to fuel project- advanced stages of construction. Oil and Gas Specialized Federal polytechnic ekowe. N10billion 17floor headquarters building of Nigerian content development and monitoring board- approved for construction yenagoa. this is just to mention a few of the current developments thats taking place in bayelsa. |
I would have personally preferred the seats to have sections of different colors or the same colors allover, rather than the mix. |
you cant help but agree that the interior of the stadium/ seatings looks exactly if not better than the attached 3 D render of the stadium released by JB 2years ago. Its rare to see this compliance to design in Nigerian construction i hope this trend will be sustained in the country, as this is the only way of achieving world class infrastructures. kudos to JB and Akwa Ibom State Government.
