zamirikpo: What is he saying.....they should increase TB small nah.
Like 7% even 6% sef we go manage. Very unlikely to increase NTB rate from her countenance yesterday. There is so much liquidity in the system chasing government securities. FGN is even happy seeing oversubscription of their securities at the current ridiculous rates. We need to think outside the box for now. |

MrMcJay: Gani's will is being used to teach lawyers how to draft Wills. The Nigerian Law School actually adopted Gani's Will as part of its syllabus.
Even other countries like The Gambia are now using it to teach their lawyers. Waoooooo The WILL is very detailed. Every investors should have a WILL and employ a good company or Lawyer to execute the WILL instead of allowing ones relations fight over your investments. |

We have corruption in the corporate world, legal profession, academia, clergy, accounting profession, civil service, judiciary, political class, journalism, medical profession and many more Very true Sir. That is why we must discourage and speak against any form of corruption practices whenever we see it. |

AnthonyAnderson: A woman that has been good and supportive deserves a part of the will even if she chooses to remarry. She definetly would have made sacrificies for the man to acquire such properties by way of delayed gratification... etc. I would never put such clauses. Let us not encourage such acts.
I love my wife and even if she chooses to remarry after I am gone I will only wish for her a happy life with the new man and not take away from her what she had also contributed by way of delayed gratifcation etc. A good wife will honour you even in death.
A lot of men remarry when they loose their wives (inheriting their wives possessions without a will) so why should it be different for women..... That is why a wife should have her own WILL too. It's not only husband should have WILL. |

emmanuelewumi: Some criminally minded men, now target women who lost their husbands and the man left houses and investments. They will show so much love and affection to those women, they will end up assisting such women to sell the investments and houses. At times they will make such women to combine business with pleasure, whereby such men will be the buyers of the investments and houses. Which they ie new lover will buy on credit or at give away prices. That is why WILL protects the dead and his desires for the living he left behind. Especially if a good Trust is executing the WILL. Everybody will comply to the dead person wishes. I now see WILL as a kind of insurance to protect ones investments after demise. I learnt so much from Late Gani's WILL. |

emmanuelewumi: Very good insight
A man died at the age of 52, with two houses in Lagos.
He willed the two houses to the two sons, in the Will he said the house must not be sold in the life time of their mother and their mother is entitled to 30% of the rental income from the two houses. The rental income will continue for life to his wife unless the woman remarries.
Men are learning fast. I just like the bold paragraph in that WILL |

Some backgrounds and professions encouraged us to imbibe these attitudes and skills. We have a higher concentration of finance professionals who have these skills and attitudes compared to other professions, that doesn't mean we do not have some finance professionals who are not struggling, after all 95% of the population is struggling No be small thing oo May God bless our side hussles daily Amen. |

Read the millionaire next door. Physicians are referred as one of the highest paid professionals, but very poor with investments and finance. Lawyers are also well paid, they do a better job with Investments and finance compared to Physicians
You can't compare the financial literacy of a physician with someone who works on Walls street, IMF or World bank, where money and finance are the topic of discussions everyday with a Physician no matter how highly paid A senior colleague of mine left our regular postgraduate training and got scholarships to do master degree in Global health in Oxford University, later got another scholarship to do her PhD. in Harvard University. Today, she is working in World Bank in Washington DC. Won't be surprised seeing her as the Managing Drector of World Bank one day. She is very focus, young and single. Her investments are quite huge.....dining with sharks in Wall Streets. |

ojesymsym: This your story. It's the reason why men sometimes act the way they do. First, in credit to woman, she has a good savings culture after all she didn't waste the money.
Since she asked for investment advise and not marriage counseling, you gave her the very best advice. However, she just lost an opportunity to earn the complete trust of her husband. If she has presented her husband with that 5 million and told him that she has been saving it from the 150 for the family, I can almost swear that oga will increase the amount to 200k per month and brag to all and sundry that he has a very good wife. I think she missed an opportunity. Women and secrets Sha. I fear people that don't fear them. She is already involved in corruption and she will continue until she seeks God's mercy and restitutions. What we do in secretes always show in one way or the other....especially in ways we may have forgotten It pays to be truthful always. We have power over our choices, but we dont have power over the consequences that will follow later. |

Have not had experience this, maybe becauseof my stand against corruption anywhere. Maywe not be apart of these bad attitudes. What we get from took picks never feel stomach. emmanuelewumi: It happens. Women that are full house wives are closer to the school, they do get inflated bills from the school.
At times if you try to pay directly to the school bank account, the school usually refund the excess to the women. If the school does not agree they will threaten the school and convince the husband that the children should be withdrawn to other schools. Women who do this know their husbands financial capabilities and women are the ones who shop for schools for the children Sir, this is corruption. |

But I was not privileged, my grandmother of blessed memories thought me on how to make money and save for the raining days at a very young age because she was an independent woman that deals with big cocoa and cola nut farm and i use to go to the village with her during school holidays. She thought me the theory and practical of how to fend for my needs through labour. She would say "Atelewo eni kin tan ni ję" Circle matters in life. If not the son will still claim ownership of the property they have sold, through marriage. He will suggest his name and yours to be on the new certificate of occupancy.
