1. He treats you well
A guy who loves you is considerate of your feelings, needs and desires. He makes them as important as his desires and needs. He is concerned with your well-being and will do things to make your life better, sometimes going out of his way to do so. Not only does he treat you well, he is also good to your family and friends.

2. He Is Generous with His Time
He doesn’t let too much time go by without seeing you. When he is available, he wants to be with you and chooses to spend his time with you. If you’re in a long distance relationship, he is spending time with you whenever your schedules allow. And you are together during major holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

3. He Makes You a Priority
You are at the forefront of his mind and he maintains contact in between the times you see each other. He considers you when making decisions and is considerate about doing things you want to do. When speaking, he uses “we” instead of “I”, and includes you in his future plans.

4. He Cares for You
A guy who loves you is genuinely happy for you when good things happen to you. He is compassionate when you’re going through challenges. This guy is there for you in the good and not so good times. He thinks about you and surprises you with tokens of affection outside of your birthday, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. He will also challenge you by calling you out on stuff to help you become a better person.

5. He Wants People to Know About You
He is affectionate with you in public by holding your hand, putting his arm around you and/or hugging you. He is proud to be with you and has introduced you to his family and friends. He brings you to family functions and get-togethers with friends, and takes you to company events.

6. He Treats Your Relationship with Integrity
He is trustworthy and loyal to you and your relationship. He is upfront with you about his past girlfriends and skeletons in his closet. He does what he says and will let you know if he’s not able to. When issues come up, he is willing to work through them. Although he isn’t perfect, he tries to be a better man.

7. He Wants the Best for you
A guy who loves you encourages you to do things you love, even if it means doing these things without him. He wants you to spend time with family and friends. He encourages you to find and live your passions, knowing that if you are happy and engaged with life, you’ll be happy and engaged in your relationship with him.

8. He places less weight on his words and more weight on his behaviors and actions.
A man’s behaviors and actions are more revealing and show if he loves you or not. It’s easier for a man to say, “I love you” because that’s what you want to hear. The true test of whether he loves you is if he exhibits the signs described earlier. When a man loves you, you won’t need to hear the words because you will just know.

He compromises: One of the more obvious signs that he loves you is that he is willing to compromise even if deep down inside he doesn't want to. So if he starts to meet you in the middle without being stubborn then he is really trying!

Selflessness is one of the first signs that he is truly in love with you.

He goes out of his way for you: If he starts feeling that going an extra mile is nothing compared to making you happy, then that's a big sign that he is the one! #Guys usually don't go out of their way for just anyone, and if you are the one who softens his heart then you definitely have a special place in his heart!

So you could be all friendly with this handsome dude and think he’s not in love with you when he actually is, only held back by the fear that you may say no to his love advances. 1. He touches you by mistake every time.
One touch is a mistake but many touches mean the dude is magnetically connected to you and wants to hold you. Those small touches on your arm, back shoulder… mean a lot.

2. He introduces you to his friends.
When man likes a woman, he wants to show her off to his friends. If this is happening, then you should know he’s more than just a friend.

3. He lets you meet his family.
Getting to meet his family is definitely a sign of deep commitment. Even the most randy of guys will not show you off to his family for the fun of it.

4. He acts jealous.
Why would a guy be jealous when he’s not interested? Trust me, when a guy goes cranky when he sees you with another dude, then he’s felling competitive.

I am a fan of love, no matter the heart break. Love still remains the most living verb in human history. Love is beautiful when shared with the right one.

With love you are not afraid, it endures all things, it is patient, it is kind, it is not envious or boast or arrogant or rude. Love is not selfish or resentful.

Love doesn’t rejoice in wrong doing. Love hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. Love is true embodiment of security, entrusting yourself in someone’s hand and trusting you won’t get hurt, I call love doing “business with no insurance”.

With no much musings ladies, let’s move straight to the signs your man truly loves you, it’s time to ditch the uncertainties.

1) You are on his mind: The way to know is by the frequency of his calls, funny text message, songs and new dramatic way of checking up on you. Where a man’s treasure is, there lays his hearts.

2) He touches you in public: It is one thing to be all over you in private, but to the same in public by initiating hugs and simple hand holding without the thought of sex, is a big sign he loves and is proud of you. It’s a way he tells the world “back off she’s taken”. That it is a protective gesture. I love the public display of affection.

3) He introduces you to friends and family: If he takes you to meet his family then you are the one. It is a close step in getting his name. If he takes you to meet his friends, then you are welcome to his circle and he is truly proud of you.

4) He talks about the future with you in it: He makes jokes about your future children, number to have and where to reside to start a family. If a man starts talking to you this way, he has no intention of letting you go.

5) He says so: He says “I love you” and means it. My sisters, don’t settle with a guy that makes you assume he loves you. He must say it.

6) He makes himself part of your life: He joins you for boring errands, follows you to the salon and listens to the juiciest gossips. Joins you shopping and endure hours of dress fittings. Takes you to your friend’s house and asks you to call him when you are done for pick up.

7) He replaces the I: Love they say is not selfish. When he talks there shouldn’t be I, it shouldn’t be about him anymore, his friends, his life, job, movies, music etc. He replaces the 'I' to 'we'. What are we going to do today? I think we should have pizza for lunch. We have to pray etc.

He is no liar: He will respect you too much to lie. Even if it kills him, he would rather not talk than lie to you.

9) He remembers every date and is there always: From birthdays, to date nights, he becomes a living calendar. Not just for outings and special occasions. He is there when you need him.

10) He lights up when you are around; let’s face the fact it’s not every time you get to hear I love you from your man. There are few times he may not say it, but you see it in his eyes. He is always happy when you are around and maybe you catch him looking your way when he thinks you are not looking. You know those funny things men can do when they are in love *laughing*.

11) He is not afraid to say am sorry: Relationships aren’t always happily ever after. There will be fights and misunderstandings. If the man truly loves you won’t be afraid to apologies when he hurts you, even when you are at fault. The sight of you unhappy makes him unsettled. You are his top priority and you deserve to be happy.

12) He prays for you; This is my favorite and I know it needs no further explanation.
