Notepad++ is good but experts recommend Emacs. I use notepad anyway because it has a plain but efficient user interface. |

Alhajipablo: Mr Ultimus this post caught my attention, pray tell how did you go about the programming to solve biological problems stuff? donsheva and alhajipablo. ... There is a branch of biology called computational biology, some know it as bioinformatics. It is the development and use of computer science tools in storing, manipulating and solving problems in biology and biological data. The branches of biology like evolutionary biology, medical biology, biotechnology and genetics mostly find it useful. Programming seems to be the effective tool in achieving these. So I'm working with Python programming language (which has an extension called biopython) in my little projects. Will soon move on to Perl too but it is a new language for me. I do not think I can answer your questions effectively so I believe Googling key words should shed more light on it. I promise you it is a totally mindblowing use of programming. Of course you should know this if you are aware of the limitless possibilities in programming. |

modath: The elephant in the room no one is talking about is the ease of acquiring fire arms and ammunition in the US... It's obscene!!!! Gun control people !!!
The dead mass murdering Mofo bought the guns a week or so before this incident..
The NRA & the other right wing gun nuts will play deaf as usual & wait for it blow away... Ignorant leftist talk. Check the stats in countries where there are no gun control laws as against countries imposing gun control. The stats are not in favour of gun control. People die when they are unable to defend themselves against criminals. Besides it is improbable that this shooting can be prevented since criminals don't get guns the way normal law abiding citizens do. |

Given how the sent mails are iterating over the alphabets and that so far we've seen Imo, I expect that Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara are next. As aboki no really dey use nairaland, I expect there'll be information blackout for a while which will stop hopefully at Kogi and Kwara.

Emmysteve: Please disregard that broadcast flying around that the screening is scheduled for June 6th. The message did not emanate from the Nigeria police. Its a hand work of hungry bloggers. I wonder why people are giving this fake story so much attention. Any moment from now the invitation should start rolling.
Secondly, according to the IG Solomon Arase, he said the whole process would be conducted in the Month of June and the screening would be done in batches that people should not be worried about the number of applications. So how can the screening, examination be done in one day?
Thanks. I thought so too. The broadcast sounded like something someone just wrote in the corner of his room that later went viral. What with the mentions of "roundness", "protruded bellies" and all. Anyway let's keep on waiting for the invites. Good one bro. |

Well it seems even the law is unwilling to help defenseless citizens in this totalitarian regime. I mean even the president has no regard for court orders, how then do they expect military men to respect civic rights? OP, you are against powers higher than you, the only solution I see is to leverage a more powerful people against them. If not, |
