The bone of contention is whether Tithing is Biblical.

It depends on the part of the Bible you're reading and the aim of reading that part. The old testament espouses collection of tithes. The new testament abrogated it. Jesus, the pivot on which the reforms of the church happened; never collected tithes, never forced it on anybody and did not fund his evangelism with tithes.

Soren Kierkegaard made a profound statement on the use of the bible by stating ~When you read God's Word, you must constantly be saying to yourself, "It is talking to me, and about me." ~

The pastors you have today collecting tithes will use the part of the Bible relevant to them and ignore what the other parts say about it. One thing I know is, their aim is their own and it serves them alone.

Catholics don't force their members to tithe, so no need to wade into the controversy. But one reason the Pentecostal churches are making more noise over tithing could be that unlike the Catholics that have a unified church ergo, unified wealth; Pentecostal are divided and sectarian. As such they need to raise funding for their individual ministries and the ostentation of their clergy. Tithe is the only lifeline of these mushroom Pentecostal churches that are springing up everywhere like daisies.

Whether you'll go to hell or not, nobody knows and can't prove it (I very much believe you're not going to hell). I can tell you an obvious indisputable truth though. The church especially evangelical Pentecostalism always needs money to fund the ostentation of it's clergy. Which is why pastors are making all efforts to discourage people from paying attention to the campaign of guys like Daddy Freeze. And that says a lot.

Tithes paid to the church benefit no one but the pastors clamouring for you to pay up. I suppose they serve a God that they proclaim can do all things, so why can't the pastors put trust in God to take care of the church in the absence of tithes? They don't. They'd rather collect raw cash from you than wait for God to perform a miracle.

He blessed handkerchiefs for the congregation and demand tithes and offering in return. Never has he blessed himself so he would never ask for tithes and offering again. I only blame those giving their sweat to these conmen.

Methinks the administrators of the website are working on the profiles. I also believe this led to the "edit" and "object moved" changes. However, I do not think it wise to touch anything on your profiles. How this can be taken as a test for some people baffles me. Are they testing how fast you can jump into conclusions or what?

One thing I know about schizophrenia is that you can never truly distinguish between a very religious person and a chronic schizophrenic.

The bible is a book full of fairy tales. No surprise that it mentioned dragons. It also mentioned unicorns and Satyrs. All three are mythical creatures; they do not exist anywhere.

The murder weapon is a knife. Given that, it is evident that 1 & 4 are the most likely perps. Looking closely at the blurry picture, I believe that's a knife sticking out of 4's hand. So that makes the chances that he did it somewhat reduced. Now 1 is turning his back to the others, well positioned to hide from investigators scrutinizing the picture. Since we can't locate his knife and he "conveniently" hid from view, that's quite suspicious. A normal person might call it coincidence but once you become an investigator, you're not allowed to believe in coincidences. 1 most likely did it.
