ladymarshall: @bolded How did you know your CSE was not attended to just because they had not replied you yet? On the webform page, CIC clearly indicated that they have an issue with their email response system and even when they do not reply yet, they get our CSE. How are we sure that it was not when they almost rejected you, they saw your CSE and put that into consideration. We do not know 100% what goes on behind the scenes, what we know is CIC is working even when they do not respond to us.
Let's even imagine the CSE made no difference in your case, people have confirmed here (and also on Canada Visa) that they got rejection because of not uploading ECA which you clearly saw in the CIC rejection response, which made you raise the CSE, so why would you then advise people to risk rejection just because yours was different or because you are trying to prove a point? Sometimes CIC might not explicitly request certain things, but we learn from people's rejection notices on what to avoid. For instance, for translated documents, there is no explicit requirement by CIC for people to upload the original foreign language document, yet they have rejected two applications of people I know personally because of that error, which made me upload mine. Would it be wise for me to then refuse to upload it just because CIC does not explicitly say so, even when the rejections were staring me in the face?
If you had not raised a CSE and still got to MEP/BIL stage, your claim would have been believable. But because there is a 50% percent chance that your CSE was considered without you knowing, you cannot say for sure that CIC does not require ECA. Let be careful when giving advice here, please. @ladymarshall, you typed from my mind. |

Scandinavian02: Still on the Birth Certificate brouhaha. I decided to upload both our birth certificates (Non-NPC)and birth attestations fron NPC which i intend to get.
I left for Ikeja LGA early this morning to find out the process. I met a staff at the NPC office who told me that i need to swear an affidavit for myself and my sister from the High Court and pay #12,000 each for the attestation then I would have to wait for two weeks to get it.
s
Please is this the process and cost of the attestation? Can't I get it cheaper and faster than this? Truly you need to swear an affidavit, but I did mine 5500# and took like two days but in akwa ibom Sha. It is 10k in ibadan, guess the price varies for different state |

Algbenguze: Hello Family. I’ve been very inactive on the forum for almost a year now but kept the Canadian dream alive. Here’s my timeline (still awaiting PPR)
ITA Oct 15, 2018 AOR Nov 17, 2018 Med passed/Biometrics request 18 Dec, 2018 Biometrics completed Dec 20, 2018
CIC has been silent since then and I’m a little uncomfortable. Tried to find out my visa office but learned I won’t get a response if I’m still within the 6mth timeline which ends May 17th. Anything I need to know? Thanks guys. You will share your PPR story by God's grace before may17th. Keep the hope alive |

[quote author=Ifeoma77 post=78080401]Your hubby was right with the NOC. The supervisory duties put you firmly in 8252 as opposed the the NOC for general farm workers (8431). So stop worrying and get busy with other preparations.
Thank you, God bless you.
God bless you too @topsmamen |

Good day elders, if I said I was living in a particular address when I was filling form(schooling) and the bank account I opened during the same period of that schooling carries another address (I went to spend holiday at my sister's place and opened account their) does this mean anything or am just worried for nothing.
Thanks in anticipation, more questions on the way |

Good day elders, please is marriage certificate ( registry) and news paper publication enough as proof for change of name? Also, gift deed notarized, but when money was transferred mother tagged it as (share of proceeds) does this raise any red flag. Thanks in anticipation. |
