Can you or anyone here help with a list of achievements in the south west? theshadyexpress: We have upgraded to serve you better. |
Garri the 1st: https://cdn.breitbart.com/mediaserver/Breitbart/Big-Peace/2012/Obama/obama-bow.jpgJudging by this pics........are you saying Jagaban may be working his on way to the presidency? |
Sorry guys, I no longer market this product. Over the years I`ve tried severally to delete this post I cant find a way to do so. Finally, I just found its impossible to delete a post on Nairaland, you can only modify it. Now I`ve modified the post. Let me just say that alternative energy is a wonderful experience but for now in Nigeria, they can be very expensive and less effective than conventional means. |
Best wishes. Perhaps I too may be privileged to meet you. justcool: I’m very happy that you observed this! I knew it was a little bit too early to declare that on Nairaland but then I felt it might induce the question that you just raised. It induced movement in you, hence I will answer exhaustively. |
The answer lies in the remarks that followed that....those who have no money will otherwise be exempted from giving. An advice, a suggestion, physical help, consideration, kindness, empathy, goodwishes, goodwill, skill teaching all these and more can be given according to the individuals ability and the needs of the other person. The important thing is the desire to help another and your effort to actualise this desire with the resources available to you. This can be done with or without money. justcool: Speer |
emofine: . . .may I ask what type of belief are you referring to? is it believing in the existence of God or a God?. . .because if they believe in a God then that must match a God of a particular religion.Yes to your last question. You apparently think that there are numerous Gods but there is only one and no religion can hold patent rights over Him. He is the Creator of all and He is without religion. Religion is merely an effort to commercialise the knowledge of the Creator by claiming patent rights and blackmailing anyone who refuses to go through the particular religion and its selfish prescriptions. In the process, religion has become for man, an obstacle to his Creator. This is why Christ could not associate with the Jewish religion and their Pharisees wand priests. This is why the priests plotted his murder because Christ was spoiling their religious business. This is why Christ threw out the money changers at the temple and this is why Christ did not teach or bring a religion. This is also why after Christ's departure, men quickly turned Christ's teachings into a money making religion and forced people to accept it. This is why religion is the biggest business in Nigeria today. |
Pastor AIO: @Akin101,Could you kindly help me with Eji Ogbe, I saw a citation of it by Awo Falokun where he spoke of happiness. |
Pastor AIO: I don't think that they are entirely accurate as one single corpus. For instance I seen verses that have been attributed to one Odu in a book but attributed to another odu in another book. Please could you recite some of d verses that spoke of Jesus? |
Here is a lecture note. I thought I'd share this. The lecturer is applying the Odus to explain universal concept of quantum physics but in his illustrations with the wheel, he ended up with a triangle or pyramid. His triangle is actually a helix - the motion track of a spiral as it transits through space. Compare it with Awo Fatunmbi's "it creates the symbol of the pyramid based on the mathematical angles that create the golden mean which is represented by the Ifa symbol of the snail." The outline of a snail's shell when viewed laterally is a triangle/pyramid, but from above it is a spiral curve and when the line is traced you will end with a helix. Go here for more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiral. Read the sub-section on symbols. Look at the attached image also. ______________________________________ LECTURE NOTE The Ogunda, Oyeku etc are Ifa names for Goals, at the very level of creation of the universe, an earlier post explains the names, hidden in with another dicussion, I extract them here, The top item at the Level of Four can be conceptually viewed as "Mathematicals": infinity/zero (ogbe/oyeku), compiling/decompiling (oshe/ofun). Academically inclined people would never get past the conceptual view of them unfortunately. They are much more than concepts. Viewed non-conceptually, they are the "tools of reality" we are observably using to manipulate reality at every moment. (I am conscious in nearly every moment of using them and I am swimming in a sea of their functions.) These four olodus form a wheel of change (which implies two triangles, ) with a definite direction of natural motion around the wheel. They are like this: ofun ogbe oyeku oshe With a clockwise direction of natural motion. Ofun is a span of change, a decompiling of reality using progressively stronger tools of taking apart starting at ogbe and ending at oyeku: subtraction, division, and roots. Oshe is also a span of change (in opposite direction from Ofun), a compiling of reality using progressively stronger tools of putting together starting at oyeku and ending at ogbe: addition, multiplication, and exponents. Ogbe/oyeku is a polarity of absolutes. Oshe/ofun is a polarity of relative interactions, working in opposing directions. All four items of ogbe-ofun-oyeku-oshe are one function which splits into a polarity, each of which splits again. So depending on which level you are viewing, they can be a polarity or not. Another wheel of four items. The absolutes are iwori (infinite space) and odi (a singularity). The relatives are irosun (energy in various stages of motion) and owonrin (energy fields with definite borders or edges). One datum presenting itself from this is that any enclosed space (not infinite) is an energy field. Since any field is a contracted space, then the universe is not one space, but a multitude of interpenetrating spaces. AN ENERGY FIELD IS CONTRACTED SPACE. MOTION ENERGY IS EXPANDING SPACE. MASS IS SPACE FULLY CONTRACTED. Each item of a wheel is one thing in four conditions: two absolute conditions and two relative ones. Here's the wheel of UNIVERSES: owonrin iwori odi irosun Again a clockwise motion. The top of the circle through owonrin is contraction and the bottom of the circle through irosun is expansion. Forget anchor points at this level. Defining space in terms of anchor points was one of Hubbard's many mistakes. There are no anchor points, and no non-anchored points, in the level of UNIVERSES. Only Beings use anchors. Only Beings worry about anchors. Anchors are in the next wheel, The wheel of AWARENESSES: ogunda obara okanran osa Again, clockwise natural motion. The absolutes are obara and okanran. I had the direction backward when I first posted it, so anyone who saved it please correct the diagram. (This wheel is where I personally have the most case, and is the most difficult for me to perceive.) A person in space-time consists of ALL FOUR of these items: 1. an unknowable inner self = obara 2. certainty of inner knowing = okanran 3. an unlocatable viewpoint which cannot ever truely be pinned in one place = osa 4. anchor points (including those used as viewpoints, which is a polarized case condition) = ogunda NEXT: Because I know you will ask about it, here's the wheel of LIFE: otura oturupon ika irete Clockwise motion, the absolutes are oturupon and ika. STUDENT: uh, huh? what is the purpose of the wheels? LECTURER: to flow form one state to another think of yer Magik 101. Earth, Water, Fire, Air, flowing from one to another, STUDENT: maybe you should draw me a picture. in color. LECTURER: OK, let's take the first wheel wheel of change ofun ogbe oyeku oshe Oshe/Ofun is the polarity of the concept COMPILATION! (to make something up or take it apart) Ogbe/Oyeku is the polarity of the concept MANIFESTATION! (to Manifest or unmanifest!) so. let's start at Ogbe. Existing as matter, or existing as SOUL! or Yang, Ogbe goes through Ofun to Read Oyeku Ofun is the concept of LIES!and TRUTH! to essentially take matter apart into Spirit (or Yin, or Oyeku) Oyeku (SPIRIT) goes through Oshe to get to Ogbe Oyeku is the concept of Sticking things together or Destroying them, So; Spirit (YOU!) sticks concepts together or decompiles them to create new concepts. This is at the level above this unverse, but also in this universe in yer own *mind* So; Soul/Matter (YOU!) takes Soul/Matter and creates lies or truths about it to take it onto a spiritual realm, Actually, yah, this is happening in yer "home Universe" from which Unmanifest Potential Becomes Matter and or Spirit, so, above the concepts of "Universes' is the mechanism of change. Spirit Into Matter Here's the wheel of UNIVERSES: owonrin iwori odi irosun Again a clockwise motion. These act as the field of play which is the universe itself (from which the first Circle of CREATION acts on) Iwori/Odi is the polarity of the concept of SPACE! Owonrin/Irosun is the polarity of the concept of ENERGIES! Iwori is further the concept of both infinite space AND Collapsed space (a point) Odi is the polarized concept of both a vacuum and infinte solidity. Iwori (SPACE) is permeated with Owonrin (Fields) Odi (DENSE!) is expanded via Irosun (ENERGY FLOW OR expansion!) SO: infinite space filled with energy. As the Flow "Stop" they become "matter" or Dense. Expanding, Dense "matter" (not the same Matter idea as the above circle) becomes Vacuum which is infinite space Imagine it as a dance from one part of the circle to the next, STUDENT: i drew them out and filled in the layman's terms and it makes a little more sense to me. but if owonrin = energy then what is irosun? i mean,if you take energy and put it into a vaccum or solidify it what do you get? the wheel i drew was this energy flow infinite/collapsed space vaccum/solidity ![]() ![]() ![]() LECTURER: energy field think of light. It is a particle (a flow) AND a field (waveform) actually, Owonrin is the field, and Irosun is energy flow so Field goes on top, flow goes on bottom, ever read a book about physics and Toaism called "The Dancing Wu LI Masters"? It talks about how particles pop in and out of creation in a vacuum, and how they can actually travel as "anti-particles" backwards in conceptual time, but yah, that's for later probably ![]() STUDENT: *blink* ![]() LECTURER: You got the idea Space (expansive) versus Density (a point of nothing) Fields (static Forces) versus Flow ( particles moving) STUDENT: ah-HA! k. it was the static vs. moving that i was still missing LECTURER: good! you have it, now explain the last circle to me, The one of Awareness STUDENT: i didn't know there was gonna be a quiz!!! LECTURER: try it! use the list i posted up above last post and compare it to the cirlce in this post. ____________________________ Remember what he said, "Academically inclined people would never get past the conceptual view of them unfortunately. They are much more than concepts." It needs intuitive understanding but logical application.
Kindly send me the email u promised Pastor AIO. and who is this lecturer, where is he ? |
Barkay: I do not bother myself about negative comment on my religion anymore neither do I condemn other religions. Whoever talked of Ifa not being on the same level with other religions might be right to some extent. This is because we've not been able to take it further than what it was originally known to be. However, this does not take the importance and pureness away from this true way of life.Interesting. please what exactly did Eji Ogbe say? I have read different online accounts. Did Eji Ogbe speak of happiness? what did it say? |
I dont love to comment about religion, but once in a while I think 1. Jesus probably never died for the black man 2. The whiteman that introduceed us to christianity is not as religious Conclusion Why am I wasting my time?
Jesus never died for anybody. Jesus was not recognised and accepted by the people so they murdered him as a troublesome Truth-bringer, preferring to have a robber freed. No one needs to be religious everyone ought to be natural and thus, spiritual since man is at his core, spirit.......man needs spiritual enlightenement, not religion. |
The thing that I truly cannot comprehend is that the spiritual destination of the so called righteous of the world's major religions is teeming with materialism... These spiritual abodes are just like a material world embelished with extraordinary beauty, containing extraterrestrial characters and of course the absence of pain. Unless spirituality is exactly that - pure happiness (although I question if every individual can be truly happy in a perpetual servitude role in relation to a divine authority) and peace and if it is exactly that couldn't such be achieved here on earth?...Well of course not because in our mortal existence there would always be pain attached to a loss...spirituality (at least in the major religions) is similar to "Neverland"...you don't age, you don't die you don't lack...it is thus a perfect existence for many...and many will want to aim for such...and so it does make sense that people will want to live in a perfect reality but to spark ones interest via the materialsitc nature whilst at the same time encouraged to debase that nature does not at all make sense to me because it appears slightly contradictory... But I do wonder in regards to the major faiths....in order to arouse or appeal to ones spiritual senses is ones materialistic nature first coaxed? Is materialism and spirituality compatible? Albeit I think if you have love for your fellow man, appreciate nature, the universe and all that surrounds (and that includes science) and our role in it and not debasing other inhabitants regarding them as lesser creatures such as animals or even the plants and those of a different sex...take one's ego aside and humble your self...maintaining a healthy lifestyle...sustain a conscious connection to the source of life or at least search for that source of life...aim to discover truths for oneself...engage your mind...and express that in non-harmful or superior ways....not having a great fancy for much that is materialitic but of course catering to ones own needs and still very much open-minded but not in the manner of "anything goes"....seeking to learn from others and not only teach at the same time being very much realistic about life and continually evolving with it....that in itself may add a greater volume not only to the one that exhibits all this but to our environment...but not everybody is compatible with such a kind of life..a transcendent sort of lifestyle...so it may become far-reaching for the greater population and thus a dream...and dreams never realized don't exist in the material world..or beyond the mind... But I do not envision winged characters or gold streets to be a reflection of anything spiritual not even remotely if so I'm sure just the corridors alone of Elton Johns mansion will reflect a preview of that sort of existence that is considered "spiritual"... A spiritual life may be rewarding for the one who genuinely exercises it but I don't regard spirtuality as a reward in itself.
Brilliant submission bro. You clearly are a deep, independent thinker. You have made valid observations and raised relevant questions. It is true that many modern preachers simply try to appease to greedy men, promising them everything they can ever dream of in a destination they are not sure to reach. So we have religious people who get promised 70 virgins for sex in a so-called paradise on one hand and all the possible riches and lack of work on the other. However, the Truth is that man is himself a non-physical being (spirit) that has come to live temporarily on this physical earth in a physical, biological body and should one day return to his original home,in the spiritual realm which is just a part of the vast non- physical world( the beyond). The physical/material is in many regards a reflection of the spiritual which serves as the prototype. The physical is however a much less noble form of the spiritual and one of our responsibilities on earth is to collaborate with nature in developing this earth into a much more representative replica of paradise. This is the wish expressed in the prayer "thy(the Creator`s) Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" Man however shies away from this responsibility and calling, preferring to wreck the earth and expecting to return to paradise for eternal rest and reward. In the beyond, there are many non-physical realms where each spirit (man) may find himself after leaving his physical body in a process known on earth as death. Each man will find himself in a realm that corresponds to his or her activities while on earth. Here he will find what you may call reward or punishment as the case may be. Thus if man on earth lives a good beautiful life, hell will cease to exist, so will ghettos disappear and nightmares will be replaced by sweet dreams. There will be beautiful paradisical planes only, both on earth and in the beyond. Some people have seen some of the realms in the beyond in near death experiences and have called beautiful realms heaven and the ugly realms hell. Hell is a creature of man`s evil activities. These are realms that man prepared for himself through his activities here on earth. Even you can already see glimpses of this in your dreams, when you sleep at night. Like the Yoruba say, sleep is the younger brother of death. These are eternal Spiritual Truths that religion tries to adapt and deploy for commercial purposes. |
Deep Sight: Too late son. You ARE a spirit already.Bare rocks and atoms do make sense too |
Pastor AIO: I never said that Justcool and I had the same position. I said that I felt that I was coming closer to his position.A process that requires time doesnot mean that the older is better, the younger may well be especially when you are looking at it as a "cyclical phenomenon" |
beedaymeee: Am really glad i stumbled on dis forum about grailland... My fiance is a cross bearer and one thing am not happy with is the fact that whenever i invite him to church he says his NO firmly... So am asking dis question , if really u guys are known to be seekers of the truth why do u pple av a problem in seeking d truth in a church... I don't mind going to a mosque , Jehovah's witness assembly or grailland to learn as far as i keep my believe in God and God alone... If u pple don't av a problem with telling pple to read the grail message then peepz asking u to read d bible or come to church shouldn't be a problem... And again i'll like to go to their temple at IJU or go for their teaching to know for myself if it's a cult group (which i don't believe is by the way) or if they really teach d truth... but i don't know ow to go about it to become a seeker... i cant ask my fiance for some reasons so pls i await ur response@Bidemi. I`m glad that you are glad to find this and gladly, I wish to inform you that one who has found the Grail Message and discovered it`s value knows that he has found that which he seeks. If he needs to understand anything further about life and human existence, he will find guidance In the Light of Truth. If he follows you to Church, even you know that he will only be doing so to please you. If he wishes to know more about the history and life of the Jews, he can read the bible in his room. All he can learn from the pastor is the church culture which he doesnt really need. As far as knowledge of life and existence is concerned, it is the pastor who has to listen to your fiancee in other to learn. Even you know this in your heart of hearts. If your fiancée has a Christian background like I do, then you also know that he understands the bible better than your pastor so why do you need to take him through the trouble of listening to your pastor just to please you? and of course you know your pastors attitude to a person like your fiancee. why do you need to expose the gentleman to uneccessary embarrassment from another man who without knowing any better will take a stance of God-sent authority over your fiancee who then will have to try to be polite.......to be a seeker is not an aspiration. A seeker is a person who seeks something. In this case, the individual seeks knowledge of life and existence. If you seek you are a seeker, it is not a matter of aspiring to be or asking how to be a seeker. If you are not satisfied with your church teachings on life and existence and you seek to know more, the Grail Message is a book that offers you knowledge on life and existence, answering all questions on this subject. Your fiancee reads it, you can read it too. It is available in bookshops, libraries even on the internet as well as in your fiancees room. That "you can`t ask your fiancee" sounds strange so strange that I didnt want to send in a reply, but it seems you really are in earnest. Let me conclude that I think you should please ask him. He is in the best position to advise and to guide you but if you inwardly wish to keep your quest away from him, all good just go on and read the book, you will thereby merely be postponing the day when your fiancee will be glad to find out that you are so interested in the most important work he knows. |
justcool: I found this article in the Politics forum, and I decided to past it here since it concerns religions.Do you possibly have any Idea why the quoted site, www.africawithin.com has been suspended? |
enitan2002: time machine in your dreams, there're simply some things that are not possible"Dreams" is just the answer. Dreams, visions, and transmissions of both past and future events are the real time machines. Two thousand years ago, someone entered one such machine and he was told to "write", hence we have the book of Revelations today, the only book in the Bible that was entirely transmitted which is why as was admonished at the end of Revelations, no one should add or remove from the book of Revelations. |
I just stumbled on this thread and after spending hours reading, all I have to say is that I hope by now, Deepsight has managed to read the entire Grail Message, sequentially from the first to the last lecture. Also, I`m amazed at Just cool`s ability to keep up with such detailed responses not only considering how much energy he must have dispensed but also considering that all the answers lie in the Grail Message which is available to every enquirer. Cheers all. |
justcool: Deepsight!!!!!My perception is that the direct radiation of the spirit cannot be described as energy let alone the Primordial Light-radiations of the Divine. Energy I perceive as much more of a material nature. Energy could be a "matter-cloaked" spiritual radiation, only thus can it have directly visible material effects as we know energy does. The Primordial Light and to a lesser extent, spiritual radiation may be described as "Living Power", again, distinct from the power of matter. To apply here-in the label of energy will be too demeaning. |
