I like smart Nigerians like Ighalo. Smart people make it in life, no matter the obstacles be it Corona or Corola or Motorola. In six month's time, he can safely return to China without fear or favour. That is even if he does not decide to remain in England.

Manchester United has reportedly succeeded in a last minute deal as they have signed Odion Ighalo to boost their attacking prowess. The Nigerian international had his flight to Manchester from his Chinese base delayed as a result of the virus rampaging the Asian country but finally got through and is expected to be unveiled to the fans in a couple of hours’ time. He is surely a good addition to a Manchester United squad that had its attacking options depleted as a result of an injury picked up by Marcus Rashford. https://uneekomunikations.com/breaking-news-odion-ighalo-moves-to-manchester-united-in-last-minute-deal/

Lionel Messi once again proved just how important he is for the Argentinian National Soccer Team when they faced Brazil in a friendly match played on Friday. Just as he does at Barcelona at club level, he simply made the difference in this game. He was on target for Argentina in a 1-0 friendly win over Brazil on his return to international action on Friday. The Barcelona captain made his first appearance since the Copa America and opened the scoring early on in the game after winning a penalty following a foul by Alex Sandro. Mario Balotelli kicked the ball into the crowd and almost stormed off the pitch after suffering racist abuse while playing for Brescia against Verona, MySportDab Reports. Balotelli’s Brescia team-mates and opponents rushed over to calm him down whilst the referee urged a statement to be read out on the speakers. He was eventually persuaded to return by his teammates. The referee also temporarily suspended the game in accordance with FIFA’s protocol. With FIFA having given the all clear for Ansu Fati to play for Spain, a new question has naturally come up. That question is “in which of the Spanish National Football Teams is he going to play?” The initial indications naturally pointed at the Under-17 squad but recent feelers are now pointing to the very Senior Team. The 16-year-old became a Spanish resident last month, but football’s governing body needed to ensure he was eligible to represent his adopted country. Even though the 16-year-old forward was born in Guinea-Bissau, he became a Spanish national, receiving his citizenship in September 2019. The on-going trade war between the United States and China has assumed a new dimension with a serious challenge now brewing between the NBA and its Chinese partners right now over a team manager’s controversial tweet about Hong Kong. It was a night of real joy for the Barcelona fans as their darling team moved into second place on the LaLiga table standings with a very important win over Sevilla. It was a unique game for Barcelona as four different goal scorers found the back of the net, including all three members of the attacking trio of Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi, while Arturo Vidal also scored for the Catalans. May the Almighty God bless you richly for this deed. May you always have someone there for you whenever you need help in Jesus' name. Amen

If you are a government official who has a special aide that has other aides that are paid by the citizens' taxes and other citizens' deductions, you are surely going to hell. You are not only robbing the ordinary citizens but also telling God that he made a mistake installing a brain box in your stupid head.

While Nigerian rulers claim that attacking South African companies in Nigeria will be disadvantageous to Nigerians, a simple warning strike by Naija youths plus the repatriation of Nigerians back home by a patriotic Nigerian has proved the selfish rulers wrong as the South African government is now singing a new apologetic song in Afizere, Magavul, Berom and other languages as their economy starts to shiver from Ebola like infection. God bless the Patriotic Nigerians who have decided to take action when it became necessary. As for our rulers, may God take control as He did in those days.

Nigerian House of Assembly members think Rapists and Kidnappers should be sentenced to death. What about those who rape the country's resources through corrupt acts and insensibility to the plights of ordinary citizens by using our Common Wealth illegally through their frivolous life styles and actions? Is it sane for a man or woman to want to ride a jeep of 50 million naira worth in a country that has been generally labelled the World's capital of poverty? Especially when the money to be used for this acquisition actually belongs to the poor masses?
|
While the "lazy" Nigerian Youth are busy making the country proud overseas and elsewhere, the "shameless" Nigerian elders are disgracing the country both home and away with their actions and utterances. The question now is "Which of these two groups are supposed to be in charge of the country and its resources? The answer to that question is the reason why an otherwise rich nation is right now the poverty capital of the world and also why small countries can be bold enough to be attacking Nigerians at will. May the Almighty God severely punish all those responsible for the present state of the nation in Nigeria and their associates home and abroad in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN! |
#Captain Fantastic is ever there for the team. #Marvelous #Messi is a dream to watch |
It was surely another day of glory for new Barca captain, Lionel Messi as he shone like a million stars in the 4-0 demolition of PSV Eindhoven when they played their first match of Group B of this season's European Champions League played at the Camp Nou. Merciless Messi (sorry, that has now been changed to "Marvelous" Messi) with immediate effect from the end of yesterday's game. So, here we go. Marvelous Messi scored a fantastic hat-trick yesterday as Barcelona took no chances in their Champions League opening game against PSV Eindhoven by demolishing the visiting team 4-0 at the Camp Nou. Barcelona somehow started the game in an uncharacteristically sluggish manner but then they had "captain fantastic" in the team. Lionel Messi was not about to take chances as he quickly found a way to swing the game in favour of Barca through one of his trade mark free-kicks to break the deadlock. Some weight has surely been lifted of #Cristiano #Ronaldo's shoulders with this brace. Kudos, CR7. |
Just yesterday, we reported in one of our posts (Read It Here) that the Juve Manager, Massimiliano Allegri said that he was expecting Cristiano Ronaldo to finally score his first goal for Juventus in Serie A in the match against Sassuolo scheduled for today. That is exactly what the striker did. And as if to compensate the fans for taking so long to break the jinx, he decide to even add a second. And so, the long wait is over and we can now expect to see more goals from the man also known globally as CR7. Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal when he poked home at point-blank range to break the deadlock five minutes into the second half at the Allianz Stadium. It was to an extent a lucky one for the striker as Sassuolo defender Gianmarco Ferrari bizarrely headed against his own upright, with the ball kindly breaking to a relieved Ronaldo. It is note-worthy to mention at this stage that this goal came not just in his fourth Juve appearance and with his 28th attempt in Serie A, But that it is exactly the same number of attempts it took him to get off the mark for Real Madrid in LaLiga last term. Now, no one would blame anybody who goes about thinking he is going to score the same amount of goals he scored for Real Madrid last season. Someone should please help keep the records. Typical of Ronaldo, it took him just another 15 minutes to make it a brace, driving a fine left-footed strike across goalkeeper Andrea Consigli to double the home side’s advantage as they coasted to a fourth straight victory. Other players would have been happy just to be as good as he is and be comfortable with just that. But not Lionel Messi. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is not contented with his achievements so far and wishes to improve on his performances especially in the area of penalty kicks. This is a player who many consider perfect having won so many accolades, trophies and broken so many records in the course of his enviable career. He however is not contented with his performances so far and wants to be much better. He was speaking to Catalunya Radio before Saturday’s 2-1 LaLiga win over Real Sociedad when he said: “I would like to be more effective from the penalty spot. “But it’s difficult to work on penalties. It’s not the same taking them in training as it is in a game. You can have an idea in your head or something you have worked on, but it’s more difficult than it seems. “The goalkeeper has a lot to do with it, too. If they guess right, they save it. But it’s obvious that I’d like to get better at taking penalties.” When asked about his development generally at Barcelona, the ever reliable attacker simply said: “It’s normal that your game evolves. When I made my debut I was 17. “I played in a different position and in a different way back then. Football has changed since, as has my way of playing and moving around the pitch. “I like where I play now the most. Teams sit deep and put a lot of people in the middle, so it’s easier getting the ball a little deeper and coming inside from further out. Moving to the wing means that a lot of the time, the full-back doesn’t know what they’re meant to do. In the middle, it’s harder to get the ball, because there are fewer spaces and a lot of bodies.” Posted at:https://uneekomunikations.com/i-need-an-improvement-in-my-penalty-kicks-says-lionel-messi/

The Nigerian Vice-President on Thursday received the victorious Nigerian girls who won the World Technovation Challenge in the Silicon Valley in San Francisco, United States, last month. On their way to winning the competition, the Nigerian girls defeated representatives of other countries including the USA, Spain, Turkey, Uzbekistan and China to win the gold medal at the competition. The girls received by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo included Promise Nnalue, Nwabuaku Ossai, Adaeze Onuigbo, Vivian Okoye, Jessica Osita and Miracle Igboke. They came to Aso Rock in company of the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Nkem Okeke, Commissioner for Education, Prof. Kate Omenugha, and the Principal of the Regina Paces Secondary School, Onitsha. The girls had won the competition with an FD-Detector Application, which they developed to curb fake drugs. It is not a secret that Nigeria is facing a serious challenge in the area of fake drugs proliferation across the country and so this application is viewed as a timely one for the country to put into production so as to combat the fake drugs menace once and for all. This is surely sweet news to the ears of the fans of #RealMadrid. |
The world of football has surely taken a different turn in recent times. Some people can go to any length just to "develop" sensational news overnight. If Messi coughs, it can be interpreted as unhappiness with the coach. Let Ronaldo catch cold and it will be interpreted as he intentionally not wanting to play a particular game. It is in the same line that some people have gone to press about Marcelo and Real Madrid. He purportedly is planning to move on to Juventus F.C.! All of that came about as a result of his substitution in the team's last game. No player likes to be substituted when he is enjoying the game and Marcelo naturally was not happy to taken off in that game but then does that mean he went on to tell some people that as a result of that action, he is leaving Real? I can bet my monthly earnings that Marcelo did not do that. And of course, the player has come to correct that insinuation. In fact, he has gone to the extent of saying that he intends to retire at Real Madrid. He has assured fans that he plans to see out his career at Real Madrid, where he has won three successive Champions League titles and four in total since arriving from Fluminense in 2007. He went on to say: Please read on here:http://uneekomunikations.com/i-am-not-planning-to-go-anywhere-including-juventus-marcelo/

#FIFA has shot itself in the foot this time around. |
Even after he inspired Barcelona to a domestic double of LaLiga and the Copa del Rey in the 017-18 season, Lionel Messi was overlooked for the final three-man list for the Best FIFA Men’s Player award in favour of Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Mohamed Salah. But as far as Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis is concerned, Lionel Messi is the best footballer in the world despite his omission from the shortlist. While Antoine Griezmann claimed it was “bizarre” a FIFA award will not recognise any of France’s World Cup-winning stars, his Atletico team-mate thinks it is ignoring Messi that completely ruins the credibility of the prize. Barcelona's Super Striker, Luis Suarez has been speaking about his life at the Nou Camp and Lionel Messi as a person. As far as he is concerned, the Barca captain deserves more than four Champions League medals. Even though Lionel Messi has won a lot of trophies at Barca which includes some 33 titles - including four Champions League titles - and is also a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Suarez thinks the Argentinian National Team Captain deserves even more than that. Speaking to RAC 1, Suarez said: “He’s really motivated, even more so after the World Cup and the Champions League,” “Now he’s the captain, the leader and he wants to lift trophies. We have a quality team and a coach to be able to win everything. “But it’s a really difficult competition to win and [Messi] can’t win it on his own. It has to be a collective effort, as good as he is. We have to be compact. Leo deserves more. “Obviously it’s infuriating [for us] because Madrid have won the Champions League in each of the last three years. They have made history and it’s a thorn in our side.” More here: http://uneekomunikations.com/luis-suarez-talks-about-lionel-messi-and-barcelona-f-c/

#Lionel Messi - Mature as ever in his utterances. |
As far as Lionel Messi is concerned, Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit has turned Real Madrid into a “less good” team and immediately makes Juventus to be one of the favourite teams to win the next Champions League trophy. Cristiano Ronaldo brought his nine-year stay at Real Madrid to a shocking end when he left the club to join Juventus F.C. in a a €112million move. He had before then won 4 Ballons d’Or and also four Champions League titles with the team. Even though Real Madrid have started the new season on a bright note without Ronaldo, Messi believes the team is no longer as solid as it was when Cristiano was there. Messi was speaking in an interview with the Catalunya Radio when he was asked about Ronaldo's exit from Real. He went on to say: “[But] it’s evident that the absence of Ronaldo makes them less good and makes Juventus [one of the] clear favourites to win the Champions League." “It surprised me [when he left]. I didn’t imagine him leaving Madrid or joining Juventus. “There were a lot of teams that wanted him. It surprised me, but he has gone to a very good team.” Messi was also asked what he thought about the new players in the Barca squad. Manchester United surely on a resurgence now. |
Jose Mourinho got a much needed and undiluted backing from the Manchester United fans as they openly protested against the club's executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward before the beginning of the away game against Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday. Some Manchester United fans actually paid for a plane to fly over the stadium bearing a banner that read ‘Ed Woodward A Specialist In Failure’ before the match kicked off as the visiting fans showed their support for the ManU manager, Mourinho by chanting his name virtually all through the game. That protest indicated that a good number of ManU fans are on the side of the manager following a tense transfer window in which some of Mourinho targeted players' acquisition was said to have been blocked by Woodward, And of course, they were handsomely rewarded by their team as ManU won the away game with a comfortable 2-0 goal margin to signal the beginning of a resurgence. It will be recalled that Manchester United has endured a torrid beginning to the new season as it has lost two matches in a row to Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham. Huesca may just get a "Baptism of Fire" in this game. #Barcelona will want to topple #Real Madrid at the top of the table. |
Barcelona F.C. takes on Primera Division newcomers, Huesca at Camp Nou in a few hours time in an attempt to continue their 100 per cent start to the 2018-19 Liga season. The team have begun their title defence well, recording consecutive victories in their opening two games of the campaign, defeating Alaves and Real Valladolid. Today's game is a must win one for Barca if they intend to keep pace with Real Madrid who are presently occupying the top spot on the league table. Huesca will however fancy their chances in today's game as they not only have remained unbeaten so far in the LaLiga but surprised many people in their last game when they were able to snatch a point from Athletic Bilbao in an away game. This informs the expectations of Barca Manager, Valverde of a difficult match for his wards. According to him, "They are undefeated after playing at two tough stadiums like Ipurua and San Mames," the Barcelona boss told reporters ahead of the game. "They will stand up to us and be looking to surprise us, because they’ll be coming into the game with enthusiasm." Surely a good day for all fans of #Real Madrid and #Thibaut Courtois. The wait for him is finally over. |
