Nigeria is full of surprises, Nigeria government are increasing prices of petroleum products without doing it officially.
Diesel that was sold #420/litre about two days ago is now #550/litre in Benin City, Edo State. I receive the shock of my life, transportation fares and prices of goods and services have tripled.
Do we still have government in Nigeria?

Vote buying is what have been winning elections for them.
Will Nigerians be wise to collect their money and vote the best candidate?
I wish Nigerians vote out APC and PDP and vote in new party.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Scarcity: Heaven Won't Fall, Nigerians Will Survive - Femi Adesina by Unigrad: 8:22am On Mar 04, 2022
People will still be supporting APC, all these are game plan. They said they want to increase fuel to #340/litre, Nigerians and NLC rejected it, before you know it, bad fuel was supplied and fuel scarcity started and fuel increase with queues. Uptill now, nobody knows who supplied the bad fuel to Nigeria. After the blame shifting, matter slept under the carpet. Nobody was sacked nor resign, this is to tell you it was a game plan and it's working for them. The next thing you will hear is, for fuel to be available, we have to increase the fuel to stop scarcity. These are the people that fought Jonathan and his government when fuel was increased. Where are those that protested then, they can't protest now? Or they can't talk again?. Presidential aide is saying we are used to suffering and heaven wouldn't fall if they continue to keep us in suffering. ASUU are on strike, Nigeria students are at home while their Children are in foreign countries schooling without interruption.
In the last by election, APC won majority of the votes, I was surprised. People love what apc have turned Nigeria and Nigerians to? Some governors ran to Abuja to congratulate the president because his good governance is bringing victory to APC in various states .
Some Nigerians really love suffering.

Let's be patient and wait for the outcome of the bill. If this bill is passed, it's going to be a very remarkable bill that will bring alot of positive changes in the health sector.
Egoistic attitude will stop.

As a healthcare Manager l can say that Doctors naturally coordinate all other health workers.
He sees the patience request for investigation then prescribes.

Doctors should pls lead the lead even a GP can be Medical Director if they want to be liberal
What is the job description of a CMD?
If you can answer this correctly, you delete this rubbish you just typed.
You don't know the difference between administrative head and clinical head.
HealthRe: Reps Consider Making Nurses, Pharmacists, Others To Head Hospitals by Unigrad: 11:41pm On Mar 02, 2022
Irrespective of what is going on in Nigeria, God is still God.
Everybody will die and leave everything beyond including position and wealth.
Why not allow other health professionals to grow? The doctors think they can keep on opposing them? The space is so wide for every medical professionals to grow and excel.
If they increase Health care professionals salary or allowances, doctors will go on strike, if they increase Doctors salary and allowances, they are happy.
Entry point, Doctors on GL 12 while others are GL9 or GL10. The only difference in year of study is 1year still, the doctors are not satisfied.

Hahaha! No vex again..

But how can a doctor be taking orders from a nurse or pharmacist? You ma check am see. Meanwhile, in the management of patients, other medical professionals follow doctor's instructions in the patient's overall management.
I went to a hospital because followed someone who went for treatment, there was a treatment rugiment the doctor wrote for the patient to take to the pharmacist for drugs, the pharmacist saw it and call the attention of the doctor to the drugs. After the doctor listen to the pharmacist, he quickly make an amendment to the treatment rugiment. See, nobody knows it all.
Let stop this arrogancy.
To be a pharmacist now in many universities is now 6years excluding internship and service.
A Pharmacist can survive a medical school but he or she chooses to be a pharmacist because that's where passion is.
Don't sound it to mean that other health professionals are dull.

Is Medical Doctor the president of Nigeria?
Is the Medical doctors the head of NASS?
Any laws that they make, are you not going to obey it or you will say because they are not medical doctors, they can't give you orders to follow?
Don't forget, all medical professionals in federal hospitals are all employees of the federal government, it is the government that dictate what happened in the hospitals and not any of the employees.
Well, Government knows what to do.

Remove ego and let the normal and right thing be done.
Someone that read Hospital administration can head the hospitals, it doesn't mean other health professionals.
Don't forget, other of those other health professionals are humans and some are good more than some doctors academically. Everybody can't be a Medical Doctor.

I can't never been bitter for things that are irrelevant.
I am saying the obvious truth.
If Nigeria doctors are passing the foreign exams, Nigeria would have been empty with doctors.
No worker in Nigeria is treated well by the government, in US, Nurses earn more than doctors.
In some countries, teachers earn more than the doctors ..
Nigeria doctors should stop their arrogancy and face their jobs which is to consult and treat a patient and leave the administrative duties to those that are qualified to handle them.

Every sensible Nigerians will support this bill except the egoistic doctors.
They are scrapping the world Chief Medical Director and replacing it with Hospital administrator, the person will be in charge of the running of the hospitals.
Each Medical professionals can go head their units.
This bill is long over due and it will stop alot of anomalies going on in our hospitals today.
The next is, a change in who will be the minister of health because all that we have been having are ministers of doctors and not health.
Doctors go hear word.
Consultants in Nigeria are assistants in abroad, they will have to write multiple exams before they can be qualified to practice.
Alot of them fail the exams.

Hope you have a Doctor and have sat down to know the years of training, the experience, the capacity and capabilities of being a Physician or you just want trend!
For instance,so a 2-years nursing personnel too can also head the whole Healthcare System as a part or because someone is popular,he/she gets vote to be directing the affairs of the Healcare!
You don't have graduate Nurse? Who spent 5years in school, one year on internship and other year of service?
I know of Nurses that have PhDs and some are professors, are you saying they are not qualified to do administrative job?
Do Doctors do administrative courses as part of their trainings?
Those House Members should rather spent time on something Noble, for I believed that Healthcare System will find her level on who should head them, not Politicians doing things in their own way!

PoliticsRe: Bisi Fayemi: NGWF Members Were Not In Dubai Solely For Aisha Buhari's Birthday by Unigrad: 6:55pm On Mar 02, 2022
sojiboy:
PRESS STATEMENT
Our attention has been drawn to a social media post shared on the 1st of March
2022 suggesting that some Nigerian Governors’ Wives were in Dubai to surprise
the First Lady of Nigeria Dr. Aisha Buhari on the occasion of her birthday on the
17th of February 2022.

For the avoidance of doubt and in the interest of the public, the Nigerian

Governors Wives were on the entourage of the First Lady of Nigeria who was on
an official trip to the UAE.

The trip included visits to Dubai Expo 2020, and tours of the Dubai e-learning
center, Dubai Youth Hub and meetings with foundations and agencies in UAE who
are interested in investing in education, health and technology in Africa, with
priority given to women and young people.

The trip coincided with the birthday of HE Aisha Buhari. On the morning of her
birthday, which was February 17th, the delegation of Governors’ Wives paid a
private visit to present a cake and flowers. After the brief presentation, we
proceeded to attend the scheduled meetings for the day.

We were therefore dismayed to see footage of the visit interpreted to mean
Governors’ Wives left Nigeria for the sole purpose of celebrating HE’s birthday.

This is not true and we find this assumption scandalous. We are all dedicated to
supporting our spouses as well as our First Lady, and we would never be a party
to anything that will bring embarrassment to them and ourselves.

Our key learnings from our visit to the various agencies in Dubai and the briefings
we received points to the need for Nigeria to scale up investments in education,
science and technology and provide more opportunities for young people, who
are the key to the future. We will continue to address these issues in our own
work as well as advocate for increased commitments in these areas from our
leaders.

HE Erelu Bisi Fayemi
Chair, Nigeria Governors’ Wives Forum.
Nigeria Governor's wives still get forum? Who is funding the forum? Just viewing foreign countries for jamborees, all the points you said you learnt from the meeting, is it new to all?
Wasting tax payers money.
