The funny thing about Dangote refinery is now Igbo lamenting on how it missed the production date. I wonder how the Dangote they love to deride n denigrate missing production date is of any concern to them.

You can see I was explicit about the set of human deriding Dangote because of the missed date, so quote wisely if you wan mention. To call out a foolish set of fools for being foolish is as easy as 1 2 3 for me

I had to go and re-read the article thinking I missed the igbo part. Since when has Pengasson become Igbo? All well meaning Nigerian should be concerned because the refinery is supposed to reduce Nigeria's dependence on petrol import, which will reduce a little pressure on foreign exchange as we will be buying in naira.

Bros, sorry o , but with my little experience, I've come to understand that programming is a very lonely journey that requires self-study and self-motivation. Anyone out there saying there are study groups / communities that are willing to support you is either probably lying or just not really into programming itself

Thanks. I started my journey to becoming a senior developer yesterday.
I followed the thread by MirthOsas and got as by recommendation from the thread:

1. Udemy complete Guide on html, css and Javascript by Jerome Morales
2. Udemy Javascript complete guide
3. Javascript definitive guide 7th ed.

So I am on HTML, learning the basics of element.

Thanks, but Freecodecamp is an online resource. I don't want to get bored after a while. I actually will prefer an online bootcamp where there are other students and faculty you can interact and share ideas with.

Politics / Could Fayose Be Right: Aisha Cancels US Trip by uniknet: 7:35am On Jul 01, 2016
The Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari has cancelled her scheduled trip to the United States of America for the World First Ladies Conference holding at Colorado.

Many Nigerians had hoped Aisha Buhari would have used the opportunity of the visit to put to rest the controversies surrounding her name in the Halliburton bribery scandal.

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State had earlier claimed that Aisha Buhari has been avoiding the United States because of her alleged involvement in the scandal, reports News 24.

Rather than attend the conference, the President’s wife has opted to perform the lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia.

The media director in the Office of the Wife of the President, Zakari Nadabo, who announced the cancellation of the US trip, however, did not give any reason for Aisha Buhari’s decision

Politics / Soyinka Blasts Buhari Over Herdsmen Killings by uniknet: 11:18am On Apr 28, 2016
Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, has lashed out at the presidency for its seeming inability to rein in the violent activities of herdsmen across the country.

In his address to the National Conference on Culture and Tourism, Wednesday, Mr. Soyinka said the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government was yet to come up with an articulate solution to tackle the menace.

“I have yet to hear this government articulate a firm policy of non-tolerance for the serial massacres that have become the nation’s identification stamp,” said Mr. Soyinka.

“I have not heard an order given that any cattle herders caught with sophisticated firearms be instantly disarmed, arrested, placed on trial, and his cattle confiscated. The nation is treated to an eighteen-month optimistic plan which, to make matters worse, smacks of abject appeasement and encouragement of violence on innocents.
“Let me repeat, and of course I only ask to be corrected if wrong: I have yet to encounter a terse, rigorous, soldierly and uncompromising language from this leadership, one that threatens a response to this unconscionable blood-letting that would make even Boko Haram repudiate its founding clerics.‎”

Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday unleashed terror on Ukpabi Nimbo, a community in Enugu State, killing dozens of people.
The attack came weeks after a similar wave of violence by herdsmen in Agatu in Benue State.

After weeks of apparent silence on the killings that have spread to other states, the presidency on Wednesday ordered the police to go after the suspected herdsmen.

“When I read a short while ago, the Presidential assurance to this nation that the current homicidal escalation between the cattle prowlers and farming communities would soon be over, I felt mortified,” Mr. Soyinka said.

“He had the solution, he said. Cattle ranches were being set up, and in another 18 months, rustlings, destruction of livelihood and killings from herdsmen would be ‘a thing of the past’. 18 months, he assured the nation. I believe his Minister of Agriculture echoed that later, but with a less dispiriting time schema.

“Neither, however, could be considered a message of solace and reassurance for the ordinary Nigerian farmer and the lengthening cast of victims, much less to an intending tourist to the Forest Retreat of Tinana in the Rivers, the Ikogosi Springs or the moslem architectural heritage of the ancient city of Kano. In any case, the external tourists have less hazardous options.‎”
Mr. Soyinka recalled with nostalgia how he – in the company of the late Segun Olusola – journeyed across Nigeria in the pre-war 60’s, mostly out of curiosity.

“But now, would the young adventurous set out to visit the mystery caves of Anambra and its alleged curative pools from mere interest?
“They would think twice about it. It is not merely arbitrary violence that reigns across the nation but total, undisputed impunity. Impunity evolves and becomes integrated in conduct when crime occurs and no legal, logical and moral response is offered.‎”

Mr. Soyinka also said he had a personal experience recently with the cattle herders, right at his doorstep.
‎”I returned from a trip outside the country about to find that my home ground had been invaded, and a brand-new ‘Appian way’ sliced through my sanctuary,” said Mr. Soyinka.
“That ‘motorable’ path was made by the hoofed invaders. Both the improvised entry and exit are now blocked, but interested journalists are invited to visit.

“In over two decades of living in that ecological preserve, no such intrusion had ever occurred. I have no idea whether they were Fulani or Futa Jalon herdsmen but, they were cattle herders, and they had cut a crude swathe through my private grounds.
“I made enquiries and sent alerts around, including through the Baale of our neighborhood village. There has been no repeat, and hopefully it will remain the first and last of such invasion. What it portends however is for all thinking citizens to reflect upon, and take concerted measures against.”
Mr. Soyinka noted that herdsmen are among humanity’s earliest known tourists and must be taught a culture of settlement with their hosts.
“The leadership of any society cannot stand idly and offer solutions that implicitly deem the massacres of innocents mere incidents on the way to that learning school,” he said.
“For every crime, there is a punishment, for every violation, there must be restitution. The nomads of the world cannot place themselves above the law of settled humanity.”

1. Engaging the Mystery of Kingdom Advancement Prayers - Bishop Thomas Aremu
2. Investing in Kingdom Advancement Endeavor - Pastor David Jnr Oyedepo
3. Understanding the Wonders of Spiritual Stewardship - Bishop David Abioye

And here is a transcript of Bishop Abioye's Message:

UNDERSTANDING THE WONDERS OF SPIRITUAL STEWARDSHIP – BISHOP DAVID ABIOYE

Serving God is God’s wisdom for our desired change of story. So if you want a change of story, get committed to serving God. Jesus met a man called Peter who just returned from the high sea, toiled all through the night and caught nothing. In frustration he was washing his net. Jesus said to him ‘Peter, will you give me your boat’? And peter said why not. And Jesus used the boat to preach. God cannot use you and you end as useless. Luke 5:1-8. The same net, the same boat that was useless became useful. If your life looks useless give it to Jesus to use. Jesus said to peter ‘cast your net into the deep’. Peter said the best time to catch fish is in the night and we have toiled all through the night and caught nothing. Nevertheless he obeyed and cast his net and the frustrated Peter became an employer of labour. He beckoned to people, he employed people when his boat began to sink so they could transfer some fish into some other boats. He became a hirer of labour. That is what happens when you let God use you. You don’t end useless. In the program of God He uses nonentities to despise the wise and the strong. You heard the story of God’s servant many years ago. His father called him and asked ‘my son, what are you going to do in this vacation? He answered ‘I will go about preaching from village to village’. And the father said to him with despise ‘that is the food you will eat’. He didn’t know he was prophesying on him. Years after he began to eat from it truly.

There is a story of a young man in our recent outreach program. He is a school owner. When the school opened there was no new registration of students. He said to himself ‘I better leave this school’. He left the school and went out for God. He won 42 souls. That same week God gave him 26 new registered students without soliciting for it. Remember when you are termed useless, let God use you and you will not remain useless. A covenant to serve God is gateway to a world of breakthrough and fulfillment. Nothing makes a fulfilling life than serving God.

In the days of Asa, there was a great crises, the whole land was messed up. But they entered into a covenant to serve the Lord. 2 Chro 15:12-13. To serve God with all their hearts. They even entered into a vow that anyone who will not serve God will be put to death. It was an issue of life and death. Serving God to us should be an issue of life and death. And in 2 Chro 15:15, God gave them rest round about. Serving God is key to rest.

One doesn’t have to be a pastor or evangelist to serve God. If you talk to some people about outreach they will ask ‘what are the pastors there for’? Some even ask are you a pastor, everyday you say you are going for evangelism. Just any believer can serve and is expected to serve.

Who is a servant of God? A servant of God is one who is serving the interest of God. One who is overwhelmed with the things that please God. Abraham was a servant of God. Gen 26:24. A man of God is not one with title; he is one who is manning things for God. Like David who was looking after his father’s sheep. Looking after the well-being of Israel.

Who is a servant? A servant is one committed to serving the interest of the master and Jesus is our master. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Matt 6:33. A servant is an addict of God. True servants cannot do without serving. Somebody asked me sometimes ago what is your hobby? Without hesitating I replied ‘serving’. I am an addict in serving. ‘seek ye first…’. Those who seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.” Ps 34:10. Seeking God is the end to your want. I want health – seek the Lord. We heard a testimony a little while ago. Child is sick, having oxygen on the nose, and the parents took him on evangelism. Crazy, that is what it means. It is addiction for God that qualifies you for addition from God. If you want addition get addicted. You cannot be addicted to God and miss your additions. You cannot be crazy for God and miss your crown. You cannot carry God on your head and end as stain among men. You cannot advance the kingdom of God and be left behind. Following the pattern of God’s servant, I have come to a point of realization. I don’t pray for anything, yet I don’t lack anything. I don’t pray for my health, I just find myself bubbling everyday. I don’t pray for money, it comes as I need them. Seek ye first, there is no seek ye second. Those who seek the Lord will not have a need to seek after anything else. What a jackpot. So a servant is an addict of God. So my admonition again for you this morning is get addicted to God, to secure your additions from God.

In the course of our outreach endeavors, I personally go out. A leader tells people what to do but a servant does it himself. I saw it in Jesus. Jesus did not only preach to multitudes, he preached to individuals. He was out on personal evangelism. For every week that the church goes out including the week that the church is at rest I was out there. A number of times with my wife reaching out to people in the street corner, reaching out to people were they are smoking herms and using drugs. Telling them about the love of Jesus. That is who a servant is. One of the times I went out, I met a young man who abused me, rejected me. I turned and the Holy Ghost said talk to the next person, and I spoke to him and he gave his life to Jesus. On my way returning somebody called me and said where are you, and I said I am just here returning, he said can I see you, I said why not. He brought a package for me and God said that is the reward. The following Saturday I went out again, somebody that is not a church member, that has never attended our church said Sir can I see you, I said why not. He brought another package. God said that is the reward. I am going again, and I as went again somebody sent a church member to meet me right there in the field and brought a package for me. You cannot miss your addition when you are addicted to God.

Please let us understand that we are called to serve. We are born as children, we grow as sons, and we are sent as servants. Rev 1:6; 9:10. Newbirth is a call to kingship and priesthood. Rev 5:10. We have been given the privilege of sonship with responsibility of servanthood. As kings we rule, as priest we serve. As kings we enjoy royalty but as priest we must demonstrate loyalty. The quality of loyalty determines the quality of royalty. Luke 22:28-29. If we suffer with Him, we shall reign with Him. Even in the home, children are liabilities not as a burden but as responsibilities of the parents. But as the children grow up you begin to draw the line between one child and the other depending on how responsible they are behaving. In the same way God rates us according to our stewardship in the kingdom. Sonship gives you access to inheritance but servanthood gives you access to rewards. These are 2 different things. Inheritance is good but reward is superior. There is a difference between a child in the home and a child serving the father in his business. All children have access to inheritance but only servants in the house have access to rewards.

It is important to note also that checking through scriptures, God never calls leaders, He only calls servants and makes leaders among them when they serve faithfully. So stewardship is a platform for leadership. Until you become an accredited steward, you cannot become a certified leader. Some see God’s servant here today as a great leader, and we rejoice in that. But you never saw him when he was riding motorcycle from village to village. You never saw him when even when he had not received the calling for the liberation mandate, was jumping from one place to another serving. The base of stewardship determines the height of leadership. Everyone that God call, He calls them as servants. Therefore, stop behaving the leader, start acting the servant. All great leaders emerge from platform of servant. In the real sense, real leaders are nothing but glorified servants. They have stewardship in their blood, they can’t stop serving. Beware of status. Status can be equated to stature. When you are claiming status, claiming I am this, I am that, you never move because you must maintain I am this, I am that. Title ties people down. In one of our outreach endeavor, there was a 2 day crusade that was held. I was not going to preach, so I encouraged every of our member to be at the crusade, I had to be there also. I got there, stayed at the back where the preacher will not see me. What was I doing? I was ushering people into the crusade ground. All the people who were passing by, I was talking to them common what is your name, o your name is John you ought to be the one preaching there. Come join us.

Real leaders are known by their services not by their positions. You are a balloon leader if you are not a servant. It will soon burst. You will soon be exposed. People will soon abandon you. Moses the great was Moses the servant. Exo 11:3, Num 12:6-7. Job the great was Job the servant. Job 1:1-3,8. David the great was David the servant. 1Sam 18:30. “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:” Ps 89:20. When God is looking for people, He doesn’t look for leaders, He looks for servants. The title of David was servant. I have discovered from scriptures that the highest title God gives to any man is ‘my servant’. If you are too big to be a servant, you will be too small to be called by Him. There are no masters in this kingdom, only servants.

What are the avenues for serving God?
1. You serve God by praying kingdom advancement prayers. Kingdom promotion, kingdom enlargement prayers.
2. In soul winning. Reaching out to the lost for Jesus.
3. Serving God with our time, our strength, and our skills. If you like call it physical endeavors. Deu 10:12; 11:13, Matt 22:37-38. If you give God your time, He will give you length of days. That is you cannot be cheaply cutoff. “They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;Ps 92:14. There is no retirement in this kingdom. Give God your time, and He will give you His life. Some say ‘I don’t have time’ and that is why time is cut off from them.

Give Him your physical strength and He will give you His health. We heard yesterday’s testimony of that woman with elephantiasis who went out winning souls for Jesus. Who will want to listen to such individual? She didn’t mind who will listen and who will not listen; she gave God her remaining strength. If you are dying, give the remaining short life to God. Moses lived up to 120 years, his eyes were not dim, his natural strength was not abated. Deu 34:7. Serving God with your strength is the security for your health. Hezekiah used his service to negotiate for his health and his long life. Isa 38:1-6. Prophet Isaiah by the word from God told Hezekiah prepare your house for you shall die. Hezekiah politely said ‘thank you very much sir, and opened the door for Isaiah to go out and turned his face to the wall. He said ‘Lord check your records I am serving you, in case your record is missing I have my own here’. And moreover, he said ‘Lord what will you gain, will the dead praise you’? If you check the story of Hezekiah he actually gave music to a lot of the songs written by David. He set up the largest choir with the largest trumpets and other instruments. Hezekiah said ‘if I die now who will give you music’. God added 15 more years to him. You can negotiate health and long life with your physical service. A young lady was told she had Hepatitis B and other ailments, and she wrote down and said Lord you know I am an usher, you know I do outreaches. By the time she went back to check, Hepatitis B and whatever has disappeared.

If you will serve Him with your brain, He will give you His wisdom. Skill means brain. Daniel served God with his brain and God gave him wisdom that excelled that of the magicians and astrologers. You can’t beat that. That is why most intelligent people will come from the church as it is in history. Michael Faraday and all of those names were highly committed people in their days. Henry Heinzs, the maker of Heinz food was a Sunday school teacher. He was so proud of his faith that he told them before he died that when he dies, the inscription they should put on his tomb was–1. Henry Heinz the church man, 2. Philanthropist. 3. Industrialist. The first known American billionaire, John D, Rockefeller was a church janitor. David was an usher. A king in the palace but a gate keeper in God’s house. No matter your position, if it is not showing in the church you are nothing. There are plenty of opportunities for you to serve in the house of the Lord. Serving God is not a gift but a choice. You must choose to serve. Don’t say Bishop Oyedepo is gifted or that he has been doing it since he was young. It is not a gift but a choice. Josh 24:15. May you make the right choice.

Benefits of stewardship are Longlife, goodhealth, wisdom, divine ideas.

Therefore, stop being a seat occupier in the church. Stop looking for the position to occupy and start looking for the service to render. Serving God, serving the interest of His kingdom, serving people, serving the brethren around you. Let it be your delight that you are in the forefront of service. That is how to make a mark in this kingdom. If you give Him your heart, you cannot miss your mark. I conclude by saying that the primary requirement for serving God is you availability. The number one thing God is looking for is who is available not who is capable is. I don’t count myself as able, I am just available.

ENGAGING THE WONDERS OF DIVINE VISITATION PT 1

From Luke 19:44
, we discover that it is possible for God to visit the earth or visit His church and people will not know. They knew not the time of His visitation. They were like Jacob in Gen 28:16 who awaked out of his sleep and said ‘surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not’. Divine visitation is what we call a revival. Every divine visitation is ordained to change man’s position. “And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to JacobGen 50:24. God will surely visit you and change your story.

A revival can be defined as a manifestation of divine visitation among His people. Zeph 3:17. God does not just visit and go, He visits to change the position of people. When God came down to Egypt through Moses, He came down in their midst until He brought them to the promise land. Every divine visitation is to fulfill divine agenda. I can tell you we are in the endtime. The time of the reigning church. Mic 4:1-2.

Let me say at this point that the ark of revival has landed on our shores. Nigeria will be a vital force in driving God’s endtime agenda and this commission has been positioned by divine election to play a leading role among others. Watch it, something is about bursting forth and there shall be series of outburst at Shiloh 2015 as God begins to reveal Himself to us. We are in a revival. A revival has began; not going to begin.

And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; |8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the JebusitesExo 3:7-8. God is still coming down through human instrument to carrying out His divine agenda on the earth. Can I tell you something? We are in for what no man has ever known before. Things have happened, but things will begin to happen at dimensions too great to be comprehended by human minds and that will include in your own life. When He came down in Egypt, He stayed on in their midst until He brought them into the promise land.

How do I know we are in a revival?
From scripture we understand that every move of God covers all categories of people. “…I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: |29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. |30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.Joel 2:28-30. When the move of the Spirit covers all age groups, then you know we are in a revival.

Sometimes back, a 4 year old boy in this church was given some little seed by his pastor and he told the mother ‘I want to buy a book’. When they got to the bookstore, they showed him a book, he said no. what about this, he said no and he pointed to the one he wanted. A sickle cell anemia boy. He told his mother start reading it to me, and the mother started to read it. It got to a point and the boy said read that portion again, and the mother read it again. He again said read that portion again, and the mother read it again. That same week, XX turned to AA. A little boy. A thirteen year old boy said this year ‘I want my grade in mathematics to change’. He said I want a 93 figure in mathematics and he carried 93 fliers and distributed them. He said ‘Lord, I have told people that you love them, show that you love me’. He came out neat A, same number. The move of the Spirit covering all ages of people. An eighteen year old young man sharing a testimony yesterday said ‘I just thank God like a dream of the night, I am now a landlord’. Eighteen years old. He said by the sacrifice of last year Shiloh, God has blessed my business, and I am now a landlord. At eighteen. Now listen. We are in a revival. The spirit of God is moving across all age groups showing Himself mighty. A nineteen years old chap was given a homecell that was dying and he heard me say ‘If your cell does not replicate you are a failure’. He left the room crying. We were having a leadership meeting and he said to himself this must happen, 5 hours of prayers daily. Outreaches. He moved the cell to 49 from 4 people. He is in America today by divine lifting. Before he left, himself, father, mother and siblings were living in one room. After he was done, God said go to so and so place, chose any university of your choice, and now he is there in grand style. He didn’t have to pay a dime. Please be awake. Something is bursting forth in this land. Africa is being visited. Something never known before is breaking forth. Some 3 or 4 weeks ago, a 75year old girl during the first outreach here led 9 people to Christ, got them established in church – water baptism, believers’ foundation class, word of faith bible institute, service groups – all within 7 weeks. The next 7 weeks she got 65 souls for Christ. A 75 year old. The move of God sweeping across all age groups. Joel 2:28-30. We are in a revival. Any regular believer will stay out of it. Any nominal believer will miss out of it. Churchism is giving way to reality. We are in a revival, things are breaking forth. Wake up to it.

So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God. |5 And when the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.” 1Sam 4:4-5. Now when divine presence came into the war front, the people shouted, the ark rang, God’s presence announced. But they only celebrated it, but they did not engage it. When the Philistine heard the shout, they say we are dead, the God of the Hebrews have come down in their midst. They were only entertained by the ark, but they did not engage it. They were defeated and the ark was captured. To show how much power was in the ark, the ark was put in the shrine of dagon, and dagon shifted, came before the ark and fell down. The next morning, they saw it and said what nonsense. They put it up again. The following morning dagon did not only fall down, it went back to the place, its hand cut off, the legs cuts off, maimed. Power was left un-engaged. It is not enough to have a divine visitation; we must learn to engage that visitation. You can be in the midst of a mighty revival and remain a victim. All the people in that city were smitten. They had to beg to move the ark back to Israel. The ark of power was in the midst of them and it couldn’t deliver because they could not engage it.

On the 2nd of May, God came down to me in the evening time of that Saturday. He said ‘I the God of wonder double is visiting you’. I was like a whirlwind. I have never heard about wonder double in my life. I have never read it in a book. My understanding opened by the Holy Ghost. I want to double this church. I called the pastors with me about 4 of them. Sir, in 7 weeks we were doubled. It is not enough to have a visitation, you must engage that visitation maximally. Many of us have had revelations that didn’t deliver results because they were not engaged. It is not enough to write these things down. It is much more important to engage with them until they deliver. On the spot strategies and action plan went into place. Who would have thought we will be having space crises here. In that season, one Sunday we increased by 28, 500. The next Sunday, over 33,000. Another Sunday 48,000 plus. We are in a revival. The ark of testimonies has landed in Africa. Africa shall be shaken by its roots. Only the unshakeable shall remain in the land. Darkness will pack their baggage and go somewhere else. We are in the midst of a mighty revival.

How do we know when a revival is in place?
A revival is said to occur when men’s heart pant after God. “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O GodPs 42:1. Why am I saying this? You need to know whether you are in a revival or not by understanding these definitions. When men’s heart begin to pant after God as a way of life. You are just God-driven, God-motivated. In the morning God, afternoon God, evening God. Everything God. An army of men especially in Lagos are already conversant with that way of life. 1 hour straight kingdom prayer daily. Praying for souls to be saved, praying for souls to be established in the kingdom. With all passion. People here fasting for 40 days, 50 days and they are not pastors. By their choice. ‘O God, save, deliver, rescue, establish in the Name of Jesus’. Matt 6:33. When men’s heart begins to pant after God, we are in a revival. When your heart begin to pant after God, then you are engaged in a revival. When your heart is always after things – what to have, what to spend, you are far from it. Everything ever added to my life were added when God considered them due. I didn’t need to ask for any of them. I never prayed for a house, they were added when God considered them due. I never prayer for an aircraft in my life. Not once. Never saved for it. They were added as at when due. I have never prayer for a car in my life, and I won’t need to pray for it anymore. One of us said, I wish I knew that the answer to all my problems were in Matthew 6:33. You must leave this place a partaker of the mighty revival in the land.

A revival is also said to occur when walking in the fear of God becomes a way of life for the people. You are not struggling. To please God is your greatest desire.

Let me share this secret with you. I stood before the Lord. What must happen to me at Shiloh? What must I return with at Shiloh?

My father, one thing have I desired, and that will I seek after, to remain a worthy vessel in your kingdom. To accomplish all that you have called me to do. To wear the crown of righteousness at the end of my sojourn here on earth. My father, help me to remain sanctified, the remaining days of my life and deliver me from evil that it may not slay me. Deliver me from messengers of satan that may want to defile me and make me unworthy of my calling. I must walk the streets of gold.

You must follow me there. I must meet you there. We will be exchanging hi-five on the way, thank God we made it. I have never read this to any man in life. It is not all this money crazy syndrome. People panting after God. If I were still riding a Volkswagen beetle, I won’t be any less devoted. God knows.

A revival is said to occur when living and walking in the fear of God becomes a way of life. Not seating down and talking junk. You don’t wear canal dress, you don’t speak canal words. God becomes the controller of your life and your thoughts. Only those who care to engage with a revival become partaker of the rewards thereof. Everyone that is committed to moving the ark moves forward with the ark. You can’t be pushing a truck and be behind. As the truck is moving you are moving. It is not enough for us to be in a revival, you must be in a revival as a person because the benefits are unfathomable. One of us went out and witnessed and in 2 hours got 14 souls. He came back and God said to him ‘go to bed I want to operate on you’. And an elbow metal implant fixed in 2007 after he was attacked by armed robbers dropped on its own as he slept. No opening, no blood came out of his hands. You can’t buy that with money. He had been going through excruciating pain but by engaging in the move of God, his torments and torture were removed. So it is not enough to be in the midst of revivals, you must endeavor to be part of the revival.

Men like Daniel will arise, who will rather burn than bow. Who will stand for God with everything inside them. Can you imagine anyone now making me to deny Jesus? For what? To get wealth? Don’t be lukewarm or else you will be thrown out.

When God’s people begin to take pleasure in the things of the kingdom as a way of life. Ps 102:13-16. Revival is the platform for walking in the realm of from glory to glory. Matt 6:33. This church has never prayed for money. From the beginning. We don’t pray for money here, we pray what brings money. ‘O God this outreach must deliver. O God, souls must be saved’. This is an absolutely debt-free ministry from inception. Not they came out of debt. This facility was built debt-free. The university was built debt-free. Salaries paid debt-free and pressure-free. Somebody is coming out of pressure by taking undying pleasure in the things of the kingdom. Men and women in this local assembly have dazed me with testimonies of things I have never heard or read anywhere. Their personal engagement. Unbelievable engagement. Undying pleasure in kingdom matters. September 12, 1976 I signed up to make Jesus my reason for living and I have never had a rethink. Matthew 6:33 set the pace for the future. I found the secret. We must therefore pray ‘O Lord stir up my Spirit to engage maximally this divine visitation for my own advantage’.

What is in this for me?
Some of the blessings that accompany a revival will help motivate you to keep engaging with delight. First it is important for you to know that every move of God moves people forward. Hab 3:2,17-19. Somebody got a job here and he was paid 1 year upfront salary. Have you ever heard about that? What if he didn’t report? Somebody had people sowing seed in thousands of dollars from abroad into his business as he was engaging in kingdom endeavors. Every move moves people forward, from your valleys to your high places. You are not under pressure but just having fun. Jer 30:19-21. Revival time is time of multiplication. Every true revival advances the church of Christ. The highest concentration of giants in the history of man will emerge from this platform. Captains of industries, global financiers, greatest employers of labour will be in their large numbers. Everyone engaging in the move of God moves forward. It is our season of supernatural advancement. Something is happening. In the name of Jesus, no one’s life will remain at the same spot again. It is an open ended platform. Serving God is not a gift; it is a choice. Josh 24:15. The choice is yours – to engage, to disengage or to be nonchalant. You have heard many things that would have changed your life 1000 times over but did you do anything with it?

Every revival advances the church of Christ. The early church grew from 120 to 3,120 in 1 day. Next time there were 5,000 more added. Acts 4:4. Next time there were multitude of men and women. Acts 5:14. Next time the number of disciples multiplied greatly and they couldn’t count anymore. Acts 6:7. Next time the whole city gathered together to hear the word of the Lord. Acts 13:44. Every move of the Spirit advances the church of Christ. It is not addition today, subtraction tomorrow. ‘Adding to the church daily’. If you chose to engage, between now and next Shiloh, your life will become a surprise to yourself.

Every revival rescues people from the dungeon of satan to serve the living God. Hab 3:5-6. Someone was under a siege, who earns money, take it to the house and the money will disappear. He got saved here and we handed to him the welcome to church package. So when he got home he put his money inside that package and put it at a corner of his room. Woke up in the morning and met two dead long-mouth rats. At the same hour 2 dead uncles in the village and the siege seized. That is divine judgment. One of our daughters here had elephantiasis and a very horrible boil on the nose. She was carrying the same heavy legs to go and witness. ‘Jesus love you, Jesus loves you’. She came back and was crying because of the pain, the pastor anointed her and she went back home and slept. The boil in the nose gave way with a live maggot. The 2 elephantiasis legs crashed and became normal. Somebody here in town was contemplating suicide and a tract was given to him. When he was about to take the overdose drugs, just a moment to his death, he brought out the tract from his pocket instead of the drugs and on the tract was written ‘Jesus still rescues people from indebtedness’. Jesus stepped in and rescued him. You can’t be in His rescue army and be a captive. The cheapest way to be free is to enlist in Jesus’ rescue army. 2Tim 2:6. Engagement with the move of God is your rescue line. You are not permitted to be sick when you are out rescuing the lost. Every faithful ambassador is ordained to live a healthy life. Pro 13:17. Who is an ambassador? Anyone who goes about reconciling the world back to God is an ambassador. 2Cor 5:20. An end has finally come to your struggles in life.

We are in a revival; the question is ‘are you in a revival’? Not everybody in this church is in the revival. While others are praying 5 hours, some have never prayed 1 minute. I have been doing this since 1976 and I am too sure of it. I have never called on any mortal man for aid. Can’t you find God and settle with Him? From this time your story must change. As long as you don’t stop engaging, you don’t stop advancing. From glory to glory is not a wish, it is a walk. I said to the Lord today, ‘show me your glory’. He said prove your dedication, and you have committed me to showing you my glory. Jn 12:26.

What is shiloh all about? | Bishop David Oyedepo

Shiloh is ordained a platform for the winners’ family both as an institution and as individuals. Shiloh is not a church program, it is a platform for divine appointment. “And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.” Josh 18:1.

Shiloh is not a convention, it is a platform for divine visitation. “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.” Gen 21:1. Don’t come as one coming for a church program, but as one coming for divine visitation.

Shiloh is not a conference, it is a platform for encounter with divine presence and every encounter with divine presence changes everyone’s position. “And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.” 1Sa 3:21..

Shiloh is not an anniversary of our church, it is a platform for supernatural delivery of your hanging inheritances. “And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?” Josh 18:3. So come as one coming to take delivery of your inheritances in Christ that is yet to be fully delivered. You need to know this otherwise you will come to Shiloh as a program of your church and miss its essence. It is a platform for divine appointment for you. Don’t ever come to Shiloh as a conference otherwise you leave Shiloh without a difference. Shiloh 2015 must leave an indelible mark of grace on your life.

One of the blessings of Shiloh among other things is that Shiloh is a mountain of voices. You will hear from God this time. The voice of His majesty will come your way this time. The voice of God is the voice of testimonies. Ps 29:3-9, Is 55:1,11. You will not miss the voice of God in your direction this time. The voice of the Lord is our access to realms of glory. 2Pet 1:17. No forces on earth can beat God’s voice in battle. You don’t have a voice without access to His voice. It is your access to His voice that gives access to His realms of glory. So position yourself to catch the voice of God in your direction at Shiloh 2015. In the midst of your storm, His voice is your greatest defense. The voice of the Lord imbues men with confidence. Isa 30:29-30. At Shiloh 2015, the voice of the Lord will bring down all your enemies.

It takes men of the spirit to hear the voice of the spirit. Therefore, give up all carnality. Get yourself properly spiritually packaged for shiloh 2015. Your must get on the frequency of the spirit to hear the voice of the spirit. The voice of the Lord is the voice of the spirit. “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches…” Rev 2:7,11,17. It is the spirit saying it so your spirit must be on key. Until you are in spirit realm you won’t hear anything. “I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,” Rev 1:10. Every new chapter in your life comes via His voice. From Shiloh 2015 you will never suffer spiritual deafness again.

You have been at the same spot for too long because you have failed to position yourself in the spirit. Clarity of His voice gives you the confidence required to challenge obstacles on your way. As the Lord liveth, Shiloh 2015 will mark the end of every trace of reproach in your life, family, business and career. Get yourself prepared and come to Shiloh saying ‘God I must hear from you this time’. The voice of the Lord is the voice of glory. His voice will always culminate in testimonies. As scriptures will be opened at Shiloh, you will be catching the voice behind every word.

How do I know if the voice I am hearing is the voice of the Lord?
1. The voice of the Lord is a joyful sound. “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.” Ps 89:15. The voice of the Lord is not depressing. Anything you hear that depresses you is not from God.
2. The voice of the Lord is the voice of peace. “I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.” Ps 85:8. Peace that passes all knowledge. You need to know this biblical acid test so you don’t get caught up with the devil.

The voice of the Lord will bail you out of financial crises. At Shiloh 2015, you are coming out of every form of lack and want. The voice of the Lord brought this church under the realms of riches, pure riches from heaven. Financial pressure in your life comes to an end in your life from this time.

It is by rhema that we rule and reign in this life. When God speaks everything hears. Animate and inanimate, plants, animals, they hear. From this time on, you will never miss the voice of God in your life. The voice of God is the voice of victory. “For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.” Isa 30:31.

Revelation is hearing from God. It is called rhema. Every rhema based faith wins without sweat. At Shiloh 2015, your access to His voice shall be fully restored. As you are entering the gate, your ears are already picking divine instructions.

No one can hear from God and doubt Him. Ps 93:4.
No one can hear from God and not believe Him. Acts 27:23-25.
Hearing from God empowers us to believe all things. Acts 24:14.

I therefore pray that the same way Jesus hears from the father (John 5:30), from this hour, even before you arrive at Shiloh, I decree the opening up of your spiritual ear. You shall not miss His voice again.

If I were in the OP's shoe, I would first be very thankful to God and sober. They were lucky the aircraft haven't flew high enough when the birds flew into both engines of the plane and shut it down. It would have been a different story.
