Bikennel: Be Wise. Wole Soyinka on PDP Defection
No source
IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem. I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria. The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, if not, Ibori would not have been included in their convention committee and Jonathan would not have been allowed to talk (He ended up indicting himself as usual anyway). For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me that what happened in Eagle square on saturday was nothing but gathering of rogues. Happy reading:
1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki
2. I didn't give order - Jonathan
3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu
4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George
5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa
6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.
7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi
8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.
9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda
10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki
11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.
12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.
13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau
With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution.
But I believe, it is the right thing to do. If you believe too, send this to other people to garner more support for the fight against corruption and looting in our nation. There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.

The list is endless. They only left what they can't carry or unable to lay their hands on. The list continues..... Recession didn't just happen, people looted Nigeria into RECESSION happening.

Webmasters › Re: State Your Issues With Nigeria Webhost by Unseen(op): 7:51pm On Jul 11, 2018 |
hostkobo: Hi there,
"Nigerian Webhost" is a big word, and often we throw it around in big ways that cause a lot of damage.
The problem is not the words "Nigerian Webhost". The problem is/are the Nigerians operating acclaimed webhosting companies.
A lot of times, someone with a little or even no-IT-knowledge decides to go into webhosting as a business. See, it is very easy to sign up as a reseller with a company abroad - just a couple of clicks. Its very easy to deploy a server. The question is after the deployment, what next.
Soon this Nigerian webhost will start rolling out services, packages, etc.....and potential customers will start paying.
By the time all is said and done, the Nigerian Webhost cannot provide SUPPORT to customers.
He/she knows next to nothing about webhosting services, he doesnt know about webhosting software, network security, he can't provide support to customers having issues with their purchased hosting packages; he isnt a deep hands-on technical person.
He doesnt even know when his servers have been compromized / hijacked by bots, viruses, etc..... or by even his own customers(who are more technical than himself (the Nigerian webhost).
Its like someone buying a car and yet he doesnt know how to drive. What will happen when his driver refuses to report to work.
Or like when a car owner doesnt know where the fuel tank is; when he doesn't know where oil gauges are, where the fuel pump is, where the alternator is. There are basic infos a car-owner should know..... at least.... about his car so that himself can troubleshoot or at least gauge the work that an acclaimed mechanic has done.
Example: I had a very bad experience when I was starting out a couple of years ago, and I vowed not to patronize any body who calls himself a Nigerian Webhost.....
I had signed up with a webhosting company(Web4Africa) and for 1-whole year, can you imagine 12-solid continuous months, I couldn't install wordpress on this host. None of the softaculous provided scripts in Cpanel was installable and yet the owner of the company turned the blame on me.
All I wanted to install was either Wordpress or Joomla. Several mails were exchanged between myself and web4africa support, they didnt move 1-inch. Even their support guy got tired of me.
I made contact(phone calls and mail) with people on the wordpress.org forum and I got one of the wordpress staff to help me try install wordpress on my host. It didnt work. Web4Africa's boss(Niyi) refused to accept that there was a problem on his servers.
I went ahead, paid for a domain and hosting package from GoDaddy, installed wordpress, joomla, drupal, etc., the next day after being provided with my hosting/purchase login details. I uninstalled the scripts, re-installed all over again, again and again and yes it worked on GoDaddy everytime.
I prepared a mail with screenshots of my installations on GoDaddy, sent to Web4Africa. Its either the guy doesnt reply the mail or I had to send the same mail over and over again. No apology, nothing, he(Niyi of Web4africa) danced his way around his responsibility, w/o doing anything to resolve my complaints. When complaints via email wasnt getting a response, I started calling.... calling Ghana.
From the beginning of the subscription till the end of the year, I wasnt able to get wordpress running. Just wordpress, nothing more.
The same complaint ticket number I opened at the beginning of my subscription with Web4Africa continued for 1-whole year without a resolution.
Long story cut short, when it was time for my domain and hosting to expire, Niyi sent me a long mail thanking me for being a customer that is enjoying his services; informing me of my renewal date and threatening to delete my data(which data) if I dont renew the service.
You see, thats an indication of someone who was totally out of touch with his customers because if there was 1-customer he should know that particular year, it should have been me - the complainer.
What I deserved was a letter of apology for a poor-service year not a notice of renewal.
Thats how I got scammed by Web4Africa. I even made a report to the Nigerian Police and Ghanian Police.
I have tried using other Web hosts in Nigeria and I havent had a good experience that I can say is as good, sound and professional as what some foreign based hosting companies provide.
Ive moved on tho:
I decided to learn the ropes and run the whole 9-yards of webhosting, network security, server deployments, IP-routing etc., I determined to offer better services than what I found available in the Nigerian market. I delved into Windows Servers and Linux until I became a guru, now using it(Linux) fully at home and work. I set up test sites, installed all available scripts I found online, learned to pull their code apart and put it together again, and added my own custom code in-between.
I even wrote my own CMS on a smaller scale level. Now when I see codes written in PHP, C++, SQL, Java, Python, I understand, can relate. I know where the author is coming from / going to.
Maybe I could say the bad experience I had with Web4Africa was my rocket launcher.
The problem is that a lot of ppl are just interested in the business side of webhosting, not actually the technical.... when actually its the technical part that drives the business part.
This is why a lot of people run away from "Nigerian webhosts".
regards, HK Thanks. This is what I want to hear. Pure straight reason. |

People always come online to tell you not to use Nigeria host without naming the particular Nigeria webhost they had issues with.
If you truly had issues with them, why are you shielding them?
Come out and tell us your encounter with any particular Nigeria webhost. Thank you. |

Yyeske: Schools should've closed down outrightly as IPOB wanted a total sit at home, at least it can organise another exam for the students. I decided to get to office today on keke to prove that public transport was intact unlike that of last year. No school opened today you say but students went to write a national exam and not an IPOB sponsored exam. If there was 100% compliance as you insinuated then there shouldn't be any exam and of course no movement . https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-44304368#

Yyeske: Not making sense, why didn't IPOB schedule the exam for another day since today was declared a sit at home day for everyone? Are the examiners not IPOB Biafrans or are they still Nigerians? Nigerian schools were open for Nigerian exams for Nigerian students in Anambra state, Nigeria, deal with it. You still use the Nigerian currency on Nigerian soil as we speak. If na lie, send me all your Nigerian naira this moment. Is Biafra restored or IPOB is working towards Biafra restoration? We don't undermine our educational sector that's why we rank 1st in education. When we restore Biafra, our national exams will correspond accordingly. However, Schools in Anambra are on MID TERM BREAK..... NO SCHOOL OPENED TODAY. ANAMBRA RECORDED 100% COMPLIANCE. Continue arguing with yourself. |

Yyeske: Your lies would expose you soon, secondary school students were seen going and coming back from schools today. 1st it was Secondary school students going to school .... meaning schools opened today Yyeske: IPOB would organize another exam for the students na, at least everybody should be sitting at home instead of going for any exams. I thought we have enough educarionists in IPOB that can easily do that. Now you have agreed that school didn't open but they have NECO exams of which IPOB should have organized a SEPARATE NECO EXAM FOR THEM. SORRY |

Yyeske: If schools weren't functioning today, they should've skipped the exams na. I know schools are on midterm break now and today is Biafra remembrance day, they should've postponed the exam for today instead of participating. Never knew I was that important to you that you now monitor when I post pictures on nairaland and even reminding me of dates I posted them. I too much They should postponed a NATIONAL EXAM in Anambra state. Are you educated at all? Have you sitted for NECO or WAEC exam before? Do you even know what it is?. Chaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii |

Yyeske: Your lies would expose you soon, secondary school students were seen going and coming back from schools today. If you don't stay in Anambra, ask around Eziokwu...... and your wonderful camera that was capturing DMGS junction since 25th May could not capture it. You should ask around and you will find out that SS3 students are writing NECO exams already since 21st May. That does not translate to schools opening. Schools are on MID TERM BREAK IN ANAMBRA. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT |

Schools, banks, government offices were all open in Anambra today unlike before where everywhere was on total lock down. Which schools, the ones on MID TERM BREAK abi na the ATMs you term as Bank working. Are you sure you are alright? |
