Ongiek

" they are half masai and half kalenjin cz they used to reside in the mau forest. "

Are they not also Luo's because of the masculine "O"?

I said OGIEK not ONGIEK.

Ogiek is more kalenjin.Ongiek is luo. The diff is in the 'N'

They are the minority and behave like the masais.

Right now Raila is leading in votes according to polls.
This hague case will determine how uhuru's votes go. I just dislike the idea of fronting him as a leader.
I wish to see somebody else challenge Raila not Uhuru. Karua needs backing and support.
The rest are not very strong and they only have support of their communities not the Nation

You really are funny.Reading through the post and seeing financial obligations and commitment.
This is why its always good to separate finances from love in relationships because once it all gets entangled you go bananas and cannot tell where love ends and where the money starts.
But here is your biggest fault. It seems as if you have made it an obligation to take care of her financially without pressure. Its a voluntary action and so you cannot again accuse of gaining from you financially. If the guy abroad is not taking care of her financially as you claim how sure are you hes not saving up for their wedding? will the girl tell you this?
no but you stepped in and played bank to her without her demanding.
That is your fault. You can make her pregnant if she's silly enough but what if she aborts and moves to her guy in states?

The length of time is not key.
What is key to me is the connection btwn 2 ppl.Now how fast you connect depends on how open you are to each other emotionally and physically.
Some are too reserved and it takes longer to know them well, while others are good to say I do on day one of meeting.

2 weeks/4 yrs, just know the personal well before you say yes this is it.

claremont:

In most western cultures, neither party is "charged" with any responsibility, what we have are mutually shared, equal responsibilities. When in a relationship, both parties contribute 50-50 financially to it; when in a marriage, both parties operate a joint family account. There is no such thing as a culturally defined responsibility for one party at the expense of the other; I have seen men who take the kids to school while the wife goes to work, and vice versa.

The "gold-digging" culture we have in most African countries must change, and is changing for the better. The independent ladies are those who do NOT depend on their partner for the bare necessities of life. They foot their own cinema bill, meal ticket, clothing bill, e.t.c, and they still respect their partner. It is only an educated illiterate man who will dislike these kind of ladies, most men consider these ladies to be an ideal package.

I had Africa/S.Asia plus some other regions where women depend mostly on men for daily bread in mind, the reason I used 'almost' but without sounding spiritual its a God given responsibility.
Please do not go there. ignore
It worked well in the past cz there were no options and the women's role was concentrated around the homestead.
No party can be afford to be dormant in these economic times we are in.Besides most women are learned so there are equal opportunities for men as well as women. They can both bring bread home without any feeling inferior or superior.

Can you shout the red part for all men to hear cz I have seen them despise these same type ladies for reasons best known to them.
Many assume that Independent and Disrespectful go hand in hand. Its very romantic to be Independent and Respectful fyi.

That is one of the archaic elements of our culture we are trying to change. We are now seeing a new trend of independent ladies in Nigeria, which is a good thing really. The mere fact that Nigerian guys are opening their mouths to bash Nigerian ladies, clearly shows that the culture is changing; more and more enlightened Nigerian men are starting to reject these stone-age culturally defined roles, those ladies who still selfishly cling tenaciously to these cave-men concepts will be left behind. The change we need has come! grin

Did you say INDEPENDENT? I have come to believe that word leaves a sour taste in the mouths of nl romance section males.
I  have no idea what type of lady a typical nigerian man wants. No jokes. 2 words you hate to hear.Independent and Goldigger.
The golddigger is molded by culture as per first comment above.
The Independent lady who takes care of her needs and treats her man every now and then is labelled  proud.
Not a good candidate for marriage.
But realise that in almost every culture the man has bn charged with the responsibility of looking after the woman and family so it cannot be culture but a good culture taken to extreme levels by a few lazy people. A people who end up with weights, tears and broken hearts.
The issue is not to do away with culture but to balance everything.Take what works in balanced quantities and intergrate it with the modern way of life.Throw away the rest.
Romance / Re: Out-dated Dating Advice by upendo98(f): 10:58am On Sep 28, 2011
^ without asking for statistics and proven analysis.
claremont:

The vast majority of the relationships in Nigeria are based on culturally defined roles of the male and female. The male is seen as the sole financial beacon of hope to the female, while the female's role is to massage the loins of the male. That is the way a Nigerian relationship works! cool

Thank you for that. Been asking myself why nigerian guys complain about their ladies.
Its culture! and anything out of that is all hogwash.ladies are brought up to believe the only role they should play is massaging men's loins while the men take care of finances. That is how a nigerian relationship works. Sealed.
Please don't bash your ladies again cz they are only doing what culture expects of them.

cheers and good day

Upendo read my past statements. Read current statements. The age for power grabbing, tribal politics is gone. See Njenga Mina in Church on the net.

All kenyans know him as Maina Njenga.
And if you are following the hague case you will understand what role he played, why, who killed his wife plus everything else.
Kenyans are relieved the matter is in hague. They await the outcome so theres no need to stir up hatred at all.
People are trying to unite and I love that.

It looks like your concerned about the hague, the Kenya constitution and the warrants of arrest and the trial at hague. Donot confuse "sautiyakericho or sautiyakenya with a website. Just go to the site and learn a little bite about fairness, justice, equality of persons. You will better for this than websites etc

But that is what your thread title is all about. You left it hanging so I just stuck to that.Ok I have checked your blog again.
So now tell me what you know about fairness and equality in Kenya. What about the hague/ocampo case? have u been following the proceedings cz I have and its intense.

Nothing to say about nl cz we have mods.

Your friends have adopted a system they believe is the only one,and they are feeding it. You do not have to adopt it.
Develop your own system and force it to work cz it will and if it does not then change the environment.
Think as an individual if you hope to make it anywhere.

your words
'I like independent girls. My last two gf’s were def like that, wanted to be somebody one day.  We would support each other. That way we both grew.
I like sex, but will always pick a smart, intellectual girl over one that just requires buying stuff. Girls that are boring, cant stimulate my mind, don’t excite me. Now the one who is a challenge and tries to outsmart me, now she’s interesting.'

Apply the same formula u used to get ur 2 gf to seek out the independents ur searching for.stop stressing urself over what you cannot change.
Good luck sir.

There are global competitivenes pillar indicators which provide insight into a country's development record and potential as a whole.
All those combined will help you understand each country's capacity in terms of revenue and resources, how much is being utilised and to what degree. eg institutions, market size, labour market, infrastructure, technology ,education, biz sophistication, innovations etc .

eg from my last figures.
The Nigerian domestic market is 4.5 on a scale of 1-7 while its foreign is 5.1
Kenya's domestic market is 3.4 on a scale of 1-7 while foreign is 3.9
There's a lot involved if we go pillar by pillar and remember the country's population influences biz in a great way.
Africa is full of resources. But we are busy fighting each other instead of capitalising on the resources we have.
Nway nice pics.keep them coming.

Kenya has taken steps to make sure that corruption will be a thing of the past. There are those that are not sure that our new Constitution will deliver the balance of power for the Republic of Kenya, reinforce nationalism, and do away with tribalism, but most of us do believe in the dawn of true NATIONALISM, as counties work towards development.

On the legal side, we have begun to clean that side also including work with the Hague to clean the ills of 2007 and all previous elections. See     sautiyakenya.com or sautiyakericho.com

To be honest I do not know what your website is all about because its too shallow.Nothing much to see or read about.
Or am I missing something here?

Now the Rome statue of the ICC entered into force on 1st Jul, 2002.
The new Kenyan constitution was enacted on 27th Aug,2010.

The reason why those guys are at the hague is cz Kenya is a signatory to the statue.
I doubt it has to do with the legal side of our new constitution because even if we still had the old,a warrant of arrest would have been issued like they did for Bashir.
Lets us just say that if the case goes to trial, then whatever happens thereafter will be determined by the constitution we have in place that is if they are brought back here like I heard (not verified). At the moment I don't know what would happen if they are found guilty

Are you a Kenyan by any chance and if so from what region? I may be able to ask you a few things.

Yes a prudent wife comes from God but she aint manna. Gos is not in the biz of bringing women to men's doorstep cz he wants them to be men who put his words to action.
Activate the search engines (eyes, legs, mouth, brains) he naturally gave you and stop behaving like spirits.
Look the same God says 'whoever 'finds' a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour.Seek and ye shall find.Delight yourself in Him and he shall give you your heart's desires.so how does all this seeking/delighting and finding go?

Do not be lazy and give God unnecessary work cz he wont do the search for you.Not after hes blessed you with brains.
And rem anytime you pick one line of scripture and build your life around it, you mess up good.

Now,even the most faithful make mistakes cz allowing God to guide your relationship is not immunity to failure.
And I will tell you why.He allows us to fail so that we stop boasting. Failures humble us and make us recognise the place of God.So if you ask me,its often the most faithful who fail and make the biggest mistakes.

Relationships are natural things.God only helps us to make decisions in line with His word but we are not immune to failure like everybody else just cz we use Him as shield. Stop applying natural principles and behave like a spirit then you see how that relationship will come tumbling down.

Now back to topic. Well am not a believer in first sight stuff.I got to know and feel you first before my mind can adjust to you being a future partner.

MRbrownJAY:

may i ask what are these DIRECTIONS you are talking about?! there is a HUGE difference between doing whats right by the bible AND expecting a "sign from God" to decide if your r/ship is right or wrong.
i will say it ONE MORE TIME: if ANYONE needS a sign from God to DECIDE  if it's right or wrong to stay with a man that shows all the required abilities, has been beating you to a pulp every night, cheating on you etc then i am sorry to say that you need MUCH MORE than God in your life.

God will put the tools in your hand (aka a brain to know right from wrong) but YOU will have to decide whether you want to act on it or not. sadly many like yourself who were waiting for signs are 6feet under by now.

if you were clever then READING your bible would give you all the "signs" you require and you wouldn't need any others to USE YOUR BRAIN AND ACT RIGHT.

Thank you MBJ for emphasising that.

What happened to people using God given Brains? We are shifting work from our organs to God and by doing so we are telling God he dd wrong to give us a brains. Your foundation can be the word of God but word without wisdom is foolishness.

Claremont what is the difference between the citizens who burnt a necklace thief alive in X location and those who burnt the potato thief in Y location?
Correction! dd u use the word habitually? so one incident makes it a habit? am I right therefore in assuming that its habitual to burn necklace thieves there?

Both incidents were barbaric and jungle in nature.Cruel way of metting out justice that I do not condone.
But what you need to realise is that those potato thieves were not burnt on the streets of the city.Never can such a thing happen
Even attempts to met out mob justice are thwarted by cops or city officials who are located at almost every corner of the city.
Its very easy to be gunned down cz the guy next to you could be a cop. They are all over undercover.
That burning took place in an estate. Those paths behind people's residential homes. You do not find cops in such places.
I was sickened to see the young guy being burnt alive on a busy street!! where were the cops?? what about the citizens?
Well lets us not even go there. Thing is this.I do not condone such acts cz it could happen to an innocent passerby who may happen to be you or I.

Now I see you are taking this to another new level.I am not here to criticize a country as you would like it to appear.
I know your pushing this to my corner but am returning it back to you.
There's no perfect country. Scammers are in my country as well. And if I knew them I would expose them.I would do everything possible within my small powers the way Justwise did here.If nobody bothers to listen fine! I did my part.
Worst thing anybody can do is to sit down and watch bad things happen and not expose or raise alarm.Theres always something somebody can do other than sit.
What is a fact is that this fred fellow and his crystal comp have messed up people's lives and tarnished the good image of your country because that is what the international media feeds on.There should be less negatives coming out of Africa!
Is that so hard to understand? This is Africa so am not ashamed to talk like one cz a lot happens in my country as well.
Those guys at the hague are an example. My country is in the limelight for the wrong and right reasons.
1. The PEV> post election violence (bad)
2. Justice being sought.(good)

So are we still fighting ? cz am not!
