Russia, because nato is arming the rebels through them
Do you know what a nuke is? This isn’t call of duty where you get to nuke after a 25 killstreak and your enemies will simply respawn like nothing happened.

This is what the us did to Iraq for months then did the same to Serbia, Syria Lybia,.... Russia has intentionally been restrained despite what is being said in the media. Poland might be nuked this year if nato does not stand-down
I’m curious, who would nuke Poland?

Anytime peeps here say Nigeria lacks money, it angers me. Wallahi, Nigeria doesn't lack money. We're very bad financial managers. There is money in Nigeria.

That pic of the captured APCs are disheartening. It gives chills about the incapability of the military hierarchy.
Honestly thought it was just me. Who lacks money? Nigeria?

Nothing. I'm done with giving advice.

It's not like the solution to our varied problems requires our going to Mount Olympus to consult Zeus and the old gods and beg for wisdom from Athena. The solutions we need are right in the open, but the government and elites are not interested in fixing anything.

The biggest issue is that the problems we face grow worse and worse the longer they are not fixed. For example, was insecurity this bad in October last year? Were bandits so bold the same time last year? These days they are confidently attacking military installations and shooting down our fighter jets.

I don't know about you all, but it's like I'm watching a high speed train crash in slo-mo and I'm helpless to stop it.
No security till we totally reform the satanist Nigerian Police Force. Tanks, jets, IFVs can’t fix this. The incompetence and corruption is costing us big.

This is the reason it's always bad to buy weapons from US, because it's always comes with fling, and control, why are they stopping NAF from using the Tucano on bandits?
Are bandits not doing even more than terrorists are doing? They have bombed Abuja-Kaduna train.
They keep killing people, and I don't know why Nigerian government don't even want to declare them Terrorists, but they are quick to label Ipob terrorists.
“Bandits are not terrorists, they don’t have a flag”

Even with evidence, dem don dey deny it happen
NRC already suspended Abuja-kaduna rail service.
So now you’re either traveling by road, which is very risky or cough out money for air ticket, which a lot of people can’t afford.

Another twist is the bandits might start demanding money to stop blowing up train tracks. Another office grin

DubaiLandLord1:
Armed bandits on Wednesday reportedly bombed a train travelling between Abuja and Kaduna, inflicting technical damages on the country’s major rail infrastructure.

Former Senator Shehu Sani said a train he rode between Kaduna and Abuja on Thursday morning nearly derailed because of an explosive that damaged a section of the tracks.

Mr Sani, in a telephone exchange with Peoples Gazette over the incident, said the bandits were targeting the trains in order to dispose of passengers of their cash and other valuable possessions. He also said the attackers opened fire on the train driver.

A spokesman for the Nigerian Railway in Abuja did not immediately return a request seeking comments on Thursday morning.

Bandits have repeatedly targeted the railway between the nation’s capital and the key northern city, which has become the preferred route for passengers seeking to avoid the perilous three-hour journey by road.

The deadly gangs have raided military bases and shot down at least one reconnaissance jet of the Nigerian Air Force. Last week, The Wall Street Journal reported that the military paid a ransom to the bandits to prevent President Muhammadu Buhari’s plane from being shot down.

The president has repeatedly vowed to be ruthless against the attackers largely responsible for widespread abduction and plunder of communities across Nigeria’s northwestern region.

But security agencies are warning that the gangs are becoming more armed with sophisticated combat equipment that would make it more difficult to defeat them.

Peoples Gazette
The entire police bomb squad was at lekki yesterday, then the DSS were so busy denying lawyers access to court this morning.

We can’t even secure the rail network we spent $800m on, worse part is we still owe the Chinese.
We go learn by force.

A complete misadventure by that boy Kanu and misguided Igbos. A venture that has no chance of success. The military goes in and in classic FIBUA and counterinsurgency/CT operations completely changes the aesthetics of the region and mind you they now have a lot of experience with the Kanuris up north that make up Boko Haram. Anywhere soldiers go whether the US Army or the Nigerian Army or generally any modern army it never is the same and it takes many many years to rid the invaded areas of the after effect of militarization. Much of what we still suffer today in Nigeria is as a result of the civil war. In this case their fathers told them very little of the war and why not because it was all horror. Now the poor people will suffer and eventually turn on the agitators themselves and the agitators will also turn on them. A waste.
It’s a matter of time before the IPOB/ESN turn on themselves and ordinary Igbos. For now they are still enjoying the backing of the locals. Time will tell.

Waste of precious petrol and time. This weak attempt at show of force can’t fly. If they can’t gather intelligence underground and work closely with locals to go after these militants then they should all go back to their respective houses and barracks.
See that animal smashing the mobile phone of a civilian, at a time when they ought to be building civil-military relationship. Posturing themselves like an occupying force.

When one give a contrary perspective to government position automatically one is seen as a sympathiser of Kanu or IPOB. I have always condemned his utterances, neither have I supported his quest for Biafra am not even from the South east. What IPOB is today is because of the highhandedness of PMB and the military in the first place before they took up arms they were shot point blank, this same army used acids on many of them just for waving flags, we warned that this will only harden them, we should learn to offer political solutions rather than the military options to certain issues. Now they've taken up arms if you ask them they will say the army kills them without holding any arms that it is better for them to die fighting with weapons as they have nothing to lose. We are now stuck in a bubble, same way Bokoharam started and we refused to learn.
My God! This is so well put.

This foolish government birthed a monster.

If you want to fight ESN, fight their influence in the south east region, use that same military you want to use in fighting, blockading and bombing the entire region to flush out Kidnappers and curb the activities of herdsmen in the region.
Stop letting the people see ESN as their only hope against Fulani herdsmen and kidnappers.

Is this hard?

I love how you people beat your dry empty chest on this thread.
Nigeria deployed one warship and provided air components for the Gambian intervention, as well as a few boots on ground mostly providing VIP protection. It was an ECOWAS mission.
The Senegalese were the first to intervene and they committed more bodies and equipments than the entire participating countries.
Stop distorting facts and concocting wild fantasies.
