DubaiLandLord1:NRC already suspended Abuja-kaduna rail service. So now you’re either traveling by road, which is very risky or cough out money for air ticket, which a lot of people can’t afford. Another twist is the bandits might start demanding money to stop blowing up train tracks. Another office 2 Likes |

DubaiLandLord1:The entire police bomb squad was at lekki yesterday, then the DSS were so busy denying lawyers access to court this morning. We can’t even secure the rail network we spent $800m on, worse part is we still owe the Chinese. We go learn by force. 7 Likes |

cutievik:Waste of precious petrol and time. This weak attempt at show of force can’t fly. If they can’t gather intelligence underground and work closely with locals to go after these militants then they should all go back to their respective houses and barracks. See that animal smashing the mobile phone of a civilian, at a time when they ought to be building civil-military relationship. Posturing themselves like an occupying force. 13 Likes |

If you want to fight ESN, fight their influence in the south east region, use that same military you want to use in fighting, blockading and bombing the entire region to flush out Kidnappers and curb the activities of herdsmen in the region. Stop letting the people see ESN as their only hope against Fulani herdsmen and kidnappers. Is this hard? 7 Likes 2 Shares |

JOSCOFELIX:I love how you people beat your dry empty chest on this thread. Nigeria deployed one warship and provided air components for the Gambian intervention, as well as a few boots on ground mostly providing VIP protection. It was an ECOWAS mission. The Senegalese were the first to intervene and they committed more bodies and equipments than the entire participating countries. Stop distorting facts and concocting wild fantasies. 18 Likes 1 Share |

JOSCOFELIX:Command Headquarters and Owerri Prisons are separated by a Fence. Imo state govt House is behind. Government house alone has a shit ton of police, dss and civil defense, even the army are right inside there. Heck even the governors convoy should be able to repel that attack. |

upko: Same story. tomorrow the governor would buy more Toyota hilux, armored vans, bullet proof vests and he’ll go on TV to showcase and say “we have improved security in the state.” Meanwhile the rot and incompetence has not been addressed. Things are honestly not looking good. 1 Like |
