Your NHIS covers your baby up till he/she is 6month old.

New born baby's are only covered for 12 weeks (3months)

Your baby is covered for 3month after delivery. So it will be wise to do the addition once you can snap a passport with the baby's eyes open. Cos the process before she is enrolled takes time. I.e do d addition as Soon as possible

I'm a spousal beneficiary and have always received services when the need arises. The problem is we do not have any identity cards as they have never been issued. My wife works at Federal Government College, Vandeikya,Benue state. Our HMO is Total Health.

As long as you are getting health care when needed you really don't have any problem.
Your wife can still go to our office or your HMO for a printout.

To the mothers in the house who live in Abuja, how much does it cost to deliver through CS. My wife is pregnant and she uses them for Antenatal, i want to prepare myself and will like to know the cost implication. I have been hearing they are expesnive.

Who has an idea of the cost of the normal delivery and the CS delivery method.

Why not register your wife for health insurance, it will drastically reduce the cost.
I work with NHIS, u can chat me up on 08051125416 for more information.

do what will last you for max of 3days and refrigerate, you can always find time to do a fresh one twice a week. you don't want bacteria in what you are drinking.
I also advice u blend extract d juices and heat it not to boiling point, just to kill germs

I'm a spousal beneficiary and was disappointed today when I went for care and the hospital's pharmacy didn't have any of the drugs prescribed for me by their Doctor . How do I seek redress?Meanwhile,it's been years and I and my spouse has yet to be given ID cards. Our HMO is Total Health

so sorry for the inconvenience, I will advice that your husband report the hospital to your HMO or make complaints in any NHIS office close to you and he can also decide to change to a better hospital that will treat you and your family well and have drugs on standby for enrollees

Good day guys, please ppl concerning THT what are different and what do they cover.
Also does the Platinum plan cover for CS for ones spouse ?

when you say platinum you are talking about the HMO's(THT) private plan which is different from NHIS plan. NHIS plan covers CS but you will need to check with your HMO since you are covered under their private plan
