I know as Nigerians we don't really understand the meaning of human right, that our very own life should be ours and we should never live in a society where others have the liberty to kill us because of the colour of our skin, our religion, or ethnic group. We are so used to being killed and treated like rags in Nigeria that we don't understand why people will erupt in anger and start destroying things... As Nigerians, we don't understand that we even deserve our own life. Americans aren't like this however. Boko Haram has killed more than 10,000 fvcking people. Fulani herdsmen have killed thousands of people. Girls are raped...and not even a single protest, peaceful or violent from Nigerians. Let's just say that as Nigerians we are a much sicker society that has accepted these abnormal experiences and treatment in our own countries. Our pathological pacifism is nauseating, and it makes no sense that we will elevate the value of properties, which are mostly insured, above human life.

What the hell are u saying....I'm condemning destruction of people's property and businesses, and you're saying another. Do people have to loot while protesting? Their can't be a protest without looting? The easiest way to make a protest non-effective is by attacking properties of innocent people.....You'll be living on the boderline of literacy and illiteracy if you can't reason that a violent protest makes no sense....Think. No one is encouraging murder, but it's madness to destroy and loot people's properties. pure madness.

Their are windows laptop that are also that expensive, especially if they are SSD. The cheap ones are HDD laptops, you can find cheap Mac too, they also run on HDD.
If you're running programs that require a high performance laptop, you need SSD laptops. For example it might take you 12 hours to install Android studio on a low performance laptop, and less than 30 mins to do same on Apples's 2019 Mc Pro.

If we factor all theses things together, the contract sum released for 1200 computers is fair.

I bought my Mac for 980k, but i can bet anything that they won't buy a computer that is up to that. They don't need it. Does the Nigeria Custom Service program? Are they running android studio? Most of the Softwares they use doesn't consume much RAM.

I can bet anything that the computers and printers that they'll buy won't be up to 200k....and I'm damn sure that the figure is inflated.
