Koicereloaded, come and see your brother, Tyler Perry!

He has come again with his low IQ shows. The Oval (his new series) is the dumbest political tv series ever made.

Netflix have acquired the rights to spinoff series of History Channel's epic "Vikings". The name?

Valhalla.

The story will take place 100 years after the events of the original series, Vikings.

The Last Kingdom, The Witcher, and now Valhalla. Netflix going for every big IP they can get their hands on, huh? Not that I'm complaining. cheesy

Lmao. Never thought a day will come when the largely benevolent British royal family will be likened to the malevolent mafia organization, but here we are. Geez...

FYI, The Crown is mostly American made, and owes the British royal family nothing, in the sense that Netflix have a complete creative freedom to do their show as they see fit, as long as it's consistent with documented history.
Is this " the crown " that interesting?

Pls rate it

go to the open markets and take pictures or you keep quiet. That's how you people keep promoting Audio Rice.

Inasmuch as I buy local rice, the high cost of it is outrageous. For how long will the price keep going high and not becoming affordable? That's my concern.
And foreign rice in Benin is allegedly 7000 naira.

Not great similarities , just borrowed words.
CultureRe: Itsekiri Names And Their Meaning by urahara(m): 1:17pm On Nov 17, 2019
jadelord:
I met a guy once in school, whose name is Jolomi and I naturally thought he was Itsekiri as that is my name. But got a rude awakening to learn, from him, that he was not Itsekiri but Ilaje. We talked some more and found that we had about 80% similarity dialectically.

And this got me questioning the part of history that says we are from the Bini kingdom. We don't dress alike, our language is at different opposites. And so questioning became inevitable. More so, I was born and brought plus in Lagos and have a very apt grasp of the Yoruba language to know that Itsekiri and Yoruba are similar and that chance meeting with that Ilaje guy laid it to rest that Itsekiri must have a strong link with the Yorubas.

Then I began to ask and NAIS (national association of Itsekiri students) began to reason along this line, as only the royal family's link is strongest to the Edo royal throne, as observed by their dressing and titles and royal knives (eben).. giving credence to history but ending at the palace.

Therefore, I personally have come to the conclusion that the Itsekiris are migrant fishermen who left the coastal Ilaje settlement to settle in the we are now, mixed cultures and aligned principle with our neighbours and flourished as a people.

I am Jolomi, I have a sister named Gbubemi and these are also Ilaje names.

There is a town called Igbokoda in Ondo (Ilaje town) my mom is from Gbokoda in Warri North.

So I submit that the proud people of Itsekiri are from the Ilaje tribe.
It's just the royal family that are from Benin.

Itsekiri language is very very similar to Ilaje and Ijebu

I believe those who say Joker glorify violence are the ones who can't stomach the success the movie made.

If anybody wants to talk about a movie that glorify violence they should talk about Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. To think both movies are PG 13 should be enough reason to make one cringe.
Or they should talk about John Wick.
TV/MoviesRe: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by urahara(m): 10:20am On Nov 17, 2019

Watchmen movie was crap to anyone that did not have prior knowledge of the comics.

That being said, the comic was the most realistic and dark superhero literature known to man.

I hated watchmen until I researched the comics and started watching the series.

The series suffers the same problem that the movie has- it confuses those who have no prior knowledge.

Compare this to the Joker- even non comic fans or superhero fans can understand the movie. No prior knowledge needed.
But the thing is that the comic and the.movie is exactly the same thing.

DDL: Daniel Day-Lewis.

He's the epitome of quality over quantity in Hollywood.

Has like three Oscar Awards for Best Actor.

80 percent of his films are followed by a Best Actor Award or Nomination.

Sometimes, he acts in like one film in five years.

Dude wouldn't even consider a sequel if he was the one that played the Joker.

Google him up.
Mad o , Maka why !!!

In my own opinion, if you want to be entertained, avoid both films.

They're artsy.

But I'll tell you what stood out for me.

Her: Phoenix/Johannsson's performance and it highlights how humans might interact with technology in the future.

The Master: This one is a borefest, but the dialogue is outstanding. The interplay between Phoenix and Hoffman was a joy to watch.
Let me download both

My respect for the guy skyrocketed after comparing his performance in "Her" and "The Master".

Deranged, gaunt and semi-psycho in one.

Sweet, tender and loving in the other.

The guy is far better than Bradley Cooper.

Anybody wey like, make e vex.
Pls rate " her " and "the master"

The film made close to 500 mill dollars in profits, if not more.

WB won't flinch if they offered phoenix 10-20 mill dollars for the sequel.

Phoenix himself also won't be foolish to reject such offer unless he wants to pull a DDL.

My only problem is where/which storyline will the sequel explore.

Left for me, they should leave it like that.

But then again, I'm not an executive on WB's roundtable.
What's a DDL ?
