Doctor, since the voice did not sound like his voice, i treated it as not coming from him. So, I didn't answer for awhile too, he thought i didn't hear him, so he repeated himself. At this point, i asked him what happened, he told me that he met and befriend some two chaps, i think he mentioned a Johnnydon22 and a Certain Hardmirrow. (Bose interjected, and said, i know about Johnydon, but i have not met him person...,the doctor shuts her up) i continued, Urahara said, These chaps talks alot about science and philosophy and ask questions that even him as a Christian he can not answer, and since then he has been given it a serious thought and has finally decided to turn and become an atheist.
Doctor, Since my husband died and left me with this boy, its been the of us, but from that day, I knew something terrible had happened to my boy, I went into series of prayers believing God that he will come to his his senses, but my prayers became a nuisance to him, my church attendance and my Christians friends coming to the house become inconveniences to him.
My son started using some terms to disceibe me, let me see, there's this very common one, I think it's delusional then brainwashed' he started referring to God as Skyferry or Sky Daddy. All of that, I took silently.
My house has been turned into a club, all those his friends, they have now formed a club to identify themselves by, and my house is their meeting point. I tied talking to my once loving and gentle son, but he shook me off. I have been so alone since. This Johnnydon chap came around one day, Urahara just stepped out to get drinks when thus chap with three young ladies walked in, they greeted me off handedly, I left into Urahara's apartment. Later I hear calling the girls Cloudgoddess that sounded strange for a name, the other was Kay17 the others was, ehm I think they called her lepasherome or something like that. Dr these young ladies were smoking cigarette in my house, something even Urahara had never done. I kept calm until they were done and left. Later I called my Son, just like before to have a chat, but immediately I mentioned his friend's behaviours, my son called me old school and said, Christianity has eaten up my brains. And that nothing is inherently bad, except the person doing it sees it as bad. That God shouldn't dictate how people decides to live their lives.
My Son, He said life is to be lived and not go through it fearing a none existent hellfire.
I kept quiet and left him.

Yes, i saw it happen. Between 11 to 12 noon. October 19, 1999. Total Experience, Liberation Stadium Port Harcourt Rivers State. I was sitting two chairs to the isles. Hi OP...I have read your stories, I felt compelled to tell you mine and also pray for you....I'm at work, so I can't write much.

I was born into a very divided religious and polygamous home...my dad a Catholic..mom, a baptist and step moms who were traditionalist and all that made me confused. I jumped around a lot...from the Catholic church cos it was full of dogmas and I could deal with the Mary thing. The traditional worship...spent a great time there cos it was everywhere around me...left cos I realized I was missing something. The baptist church was OK...it did answer some of my questioned but still..not satisfied. I was introduced to Pentecostalism by my elder sister...I couldn't grasp what it was all about...so I pulled out.

I was introduced to atheism in high school and became one...I was for a long while but still within me, I knew there was more to life than meets the eye. I had lots of mails from all around the world...I did study like a mad boy. The post were weary of my daily collection of foreign mails...books and tapes...in the 80s. I read it all, esoteric... Christian Scientology.... Eastern religion and even cultic. I remember having too much and started using them, including bibles as toiletries.

I relocated to Lagos...began to hussle for my daily bread. On this very day coming from boundary market in a molue bus...I had an encounter. There was this man preaching...(I hate preachers by the way. My friends and I would go to the Pentecostal church in my home town and abuse them while I was an atheist. We would throw stones on their roof and scorn them at the door. I did argued and fought high school preachers...my friends from the schools science club regarded me as the king of atheist and Scientology.)...he did code mixed English and Yoruba(a language I didn't understand)... My blank mind opted to question him...but an overwhelming power I couldn't fanthom took over me. I didn't understand all he said but I knew...I was a sinner in need of Christ...I cried in that bus...it was like the biblical Saul experience... I can't share it all for time...but I knelt in that molue bus and cried out my heart to God...accepted Jesus into my heart...it's been almost 3 decades now. I have always been grateful for that day.

I went to higher institution...graduated, work for over a decade in Nigeria before relocating to the US. Started planting churches, running crusades, been to nations courtesy of professional career but used it all as an opportunity to reach out to people of all creed on the love of God... for 24years now...yet the best days are ahead of me in my work with God.

I got home from that experience in the molue bus not knowing what to do with myself...I couldn't talk to any Christian around me...they saw me as the devil. I remember this former Muslim lady who got converted and would minister to me...I dealt her wrong, but still loved coming to me...I got ready by 5pm the next and waited for her to walk pass my house on her way to church(she never failed). On sight of her, I followed her behind about two pole long. She went in this church like after 20 min of trekking... I got in too...it was full of bunch of young men and ladies worshiping with lifted hands...that started my journey.

I got baptized in the Holy Spirit after two week...awesome.

I did meet other atheist in higher institutions, at work and many more during my MBA days in Nigeria. A lot of them are born again now and even preaching...

OP...spiritual things are not ABC or mathematical permutations... When Jesus reveals himself to you, He becomes real to you.

I love you...I won't argue with you, cos no one finds Christ through argument. I believe you will rise beyond this level, find the love of God and do great exploit again...but remember this...you can be so busy doing the work of God and don't know the God of the work.
