Some weeks ago, one South African pastor, pastor Mboro, claimed he went to heaven and snapped some pictures with his phone. Everybody laughed at him. Religious and irreligious people all laughed and mocked his stupidity.

What I found funny wasn't the story, but the irony of the whole situation. The story of traveling to heaven to snap pictures might sound ridiculous, but no more so the story of a virgin impregnated by a spirit or the story of talking snakes and donkeys.

The biblical Prophet Isaiah claimed he was teleported to heaven where he saw God and other heavenly beings. He didn't even bother to provide any pictorial evidence, yet you believed. Moses made a similar claim. A lot of stories, much more weird and ridiculous than what the S.A pastor claimed, are in the Bible, yet you believed them.

And you think you are wiser than Pastor Mboro's followers? Today is Sunday, many would be inundated with false, incredulous stories by their pastors. Kettle calling pot black.

Honestly, it's easier to believe the crazy man's story than the biblical stories. If not that his phone was incidentally stolen, he could have shown us some "heavenly selfies" as evidence.

this really got me laughing. I was chatting with a female friend yesterday. they had a vigil in her church on Friday. so I asked her on Saturday if she remembered to pray for me too and she answered "maybe". so I asked her why maybe, she said she didn't know because she prayed in tongues. So I asked her the difference between praying in tongues and praying using normal languages. she said praying in tongues is better because the devil doesn't know the language. and I was like wtf? so I asked her, if the devil doesn't understand the language, how come you guys chase demons out with the same language? her response was "you can't understand". what's so difficult to understand in that?

the bible uses the word torment when referring to the rich man in hell. The rich man wasn't screaming in pain due to physical torture.

It's everlasting shame, I hold this view mainly becuz of my recent understanding that the ancient Hebrews were a honor-shame based society, and how important honor and shame were to them.

Honestly I'm not completely decided on hell although I'm pretty convinced it's not literal fires.

Most atheists and muslims I know actually think that. I've seen atheist teach others that Jesus told people to literally hate their family, was okay with slavery, to kill ur enemies (Luke 19:27) , love me or I burn u, hates women etc.

Honestly, we don't judge you. We might come off as if we do, but we don't. In all reality, we are trying to wrap our heads around the fact that the glaring truth is still difficult to see, but let's step aside from that shall we?

You are free to tell your story. You are free to think what you want. You really don't need our permission. You also don't need to get an altar and begin ministrations (I mean that's a totally Christian thing to do and you are not one of us, yea)? And by podium, this right here Mr Hardmamn is a desperate attempt by you to "preach" a "gospel" only that it's the "Gospel according to Mr Hardmann". Leave the Christian things for Chriatians, would you?

Before I leave, I want to correct something, for the record. Anybody you know, that is a 'Chriatian' as a result of fear, really doesn't know Christ (I wouldn't be surprised if we dig deeper and realised you have your life in the first place out of fear).

I love giving examples, so here goes one. When you were born, were you afraid of your parents? no. When you started growing up and getting to different levels of responsibilities, did you realise some of your actions were punishable- Yes. Did you try not to do those actions- Yes. Did you still do them- Yes. Did you get forgiven- Yes. Did you become so afraid of your parents it led you to 'do the right thing'-this happened to some people and it did hamper their relationship with their parents!

My point is this, Christianity is born on the foundations of love not fear. Don't mislead the general public.

Mr man, if you are a christian as you claim to be, then your main concern should be making it to heaven and never finding yourself in hell at the end of your life. Your standard for judging any story you hear about hell is the written word of God in the bible. Any description of hell by anybody's story that does not conform to what Jesus described it as in the bible should be discarded. But at the same time, you dont need to wait for anybody to tell you his terrifying version of hell before you know hell is not a place you should end up. No matter the story's version, have you ever seen or heard of any person who gave a pleasant description of hell?

In case you are not aware, hell is like a world of it's own but just for punishment of damned souls, and there are different punishments to different categories of sinners, but the least punished people in hell are still under a level of punishment and torment that is unbearable. Different people being shown hell is just like you being shown around the different countries of the world. You are on the same planet earth, but what you see across the different countries you enter varies. It is same with hell; different parts of hell host different kinds of punishment, but they are all still terrible and unbearable to every soul in them. Just make up your mind to not enter hell for any reason, because if you do, the least thing you will be thinking about then is why one part of hell was described differently from another part by people who were shown hell at various times, but made it back to life to tell their story

I wonder what is wrong with today's Christians, they believe the words of a man. The guy in the post probably suffers from insomnia or the likes. The reason I don't believe any of these is[b] because lots of people have claimed to have been in hell but when you compare their stories, you see contradictions or differences[/b]. I remember the story of three boys who said they saw Jesus and that He had muscles and was well-built and hefty lol!!!!. One I read said that hell has a belly and a heart. One said, people in hell look bony with a smoke-like soul in them. One said hell has tides and oceans......... Next story I would probably hear is hell has a guard dog named Cerberus and a king named Hades.... Mtchewwww. Fellow Christians, wake up.

Remember this is a true life story, everything I say here is the absolute truth, only thing I have not revealed is my name, because I am still a legend in Anglican student fellowship till date, not just in futa but the whole state as I once held a state executive position.

I got to the room where she was (the president's room) there were 3 people praying for this sister. She was wringling on the floor like worm with salt poured on it. The prayer warriors were sweating and visibly tired. I got there sat down and bent over to hold her hands. Immediately I held her hand, she started screaming, but was still crying. She was behaving like someone with the spirit of pyton in her.
I started speaking in tongues. For about 30mins she was still wringling.
I shock her up, asked everybody to stop praying.
I commanded her to stop and open her eyes.
She obeyed. I asked her to seat on the other chair in the room. I could see surprise in her eyes. I repeated my instruction and she obey.
I told her whoever the spirit sets free is free indeed and God has told me she was free. That no matter what she tot, she is already free. I asked everyone to start praising God.

Now this case was peculiar. Why? I learnt something key that day. Once a human sees you as superhuman, they believe anything you tell them and people can be overwhelmed by the presences or words of people they think are directly linked with God.
If I kept praying she would have kept twisting on the floor. But I commanded the nonesense to stop and it stopped. This is not very far from how hypnotism works.

This is most likely what TB joshua knows. Once you see him as an ordinary human, his words won't have any effect on you. But the moment you buy into the whole facade and open your mind to be impressionable, you will end up responding to everything such a man says and end up misbehaving

Jesus died for every human being including the people that crucified him. It was his love for us all that made him die for us even when we didnt love him. I represent him so I cannot hate the people he died for out of love. I only warn them of the danger ahead because I know it is real and if it wasnt real, Jesus would never have bothered to come to earth to pay the high price he paid to give us a chance of escaping the damnation ahead. You can make fun of me together with your NEW ATHEIST man, but I have at least told you a truth you will certainly confirm while on your death bed as you exit this world someday.

Do I sound stressed to you? I'm certainly not! I don't belong to the class of some religious people who hate others and try to fight for their god. My God is not under any threat from you or anybody, He is God all by Himself, He doesn't need your approval of Him or your recognition of His sovereignty for Him to be God. What I feel is not stress, but great horror at the sight of what awaits you in eternity for the boldness to openly challenge the Almighty with the same brain and logical reasoning that He created and gave to you. One thing I know the devil for is the fact that he will use you and DUMP YOU! You are feeling cool with yourself because of the excess knowledge you think you have? Don't worry, God has seen and dealt with your type before, and your case is not new to Him. You will not be the first to deny Christ, and you will not be the last either, but like I said, by the time the devil is done using you and he feels he has no further need for your services, HE WILL DUMP YOU LIKE SHIT IS DUMPED IN A TOILET! By the time you find yourself after death in anguish and torment in hell and you see the same devil you are working for now being the one adding to your torment, you will swear and curse the day you denied Christ.

Like I said, I feel horror at what I know awaits you, not stress.
